Great location!! Alot of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Pool bar was a plus.

Staff is outstanding! The hotel itself needs some work. We rented their 1300 square feet suite only to have broken cabinets and door stops, tape stuck to the walls from maybe a party decoration ? Walls need cleaning or paint. For a suite of this cost it should not need so much work. Even the bathroom cabinets need work. With that said the hotel location is A and the dining options are spectacular.

Great classic looking hotel. The Sazerac bar is a lot of fun and the lobby is beautiful. The rooms are a little small and a little dated. But for an old timey, historical stay in New Orleans, check it out!

I loved how clean, safe and close to everything it was. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The room was maintained morning and a turn down service at night.
My only complaint of the whole place was the pool it self wasn’t as clean. It almost seemed as if the filters couldn’t keep up. There were bugs and things floating on the surface every time we went to the pool. It seemed to always leave a film on our skin and not smell the best the last time we used it.
Other than that I’d give this hotel a 10/10!!! Will be coming back.

Went with friends for the weekend they got an interior room and we got a room by the street across the hall. First night(Friday night) we were up all night with the noise of the road people down below yelling, cars racing up and down the street. My friends said they had no problems. If I had know for two nights I would be awoken all night long or given the opportunity to change rooms so I could have slept that would have been wonderful. I have stayed in town before at other hotels that informed me of the chance for noise and offered to move or earplugs. For the amount of money we spent on the room it would have been appreciated

Always a great place to stay in New Orleans. Great location. Walking distance to all of downtown.

Tissue thin walls - do not stay here if you need to sleep during the night. You will hear every word of your neighbors conversations and every activity. There is also a church bell that starts long tolls early in the morning. Reception was poorly trained to support that issue and had nothing to offer in terms of concessions.
Old, historical beautiful, and with a few good staff members, but overall a huge disappointment and definitely NOT recommended. And the valet team had been drinking!

I loved everything about the place! Super gorgeous and all of the staff was very professional. Exactly what you would expect from a hotel of that caliber. Except for the pool bar... it seemed like a different world. Staff was not professional, and it seemed like they were under or short staffed. People walked away for not being served at the bar. We had to complain out loud at one point, and the staff just didn't seem to care. Until we did, it felt like we were being ignored. Nothing like the bar staff at the Sazerac or anywhere else downstairs.

The Roosevelt is beautiful. One thing, we had a pretty view of the river behind The Montelone sign, however we could barely see it because our windows were filthy. I was surprised by that at a luxury hotel. I did inform the front desk on our way out. They apologized.

Was woken up at 4:30am with a fire alarm going off telling me to exit the building. In a panic i grab my wallet and my phone go out inside in my pajamas 20 minutes later to find out it was a false alarm could not find no staff no security go back to my room at least try and don’t have a key because it’s in the room my friends were on the 5th floor and 12thfloor had no idea i was even out of my room any who i love this place but i was very disappointed on how it was handled. I found out from another guest that it was a false alarm

Amazing stay! Customer service was 10/10!! Everyone from the doormen to the concierge to housekeeping! Room smelled so good and was very clean. Towels and sheets were clean. Loved all the amenities. The location was amazing to everything. Bourbon was a short 5 minute walk. Great restaurants near so ubering and lyfting was not an issue. Would stay here everytime!
