a group of friends and i (4 of us total) went for a 4 day weekend to the Amalfi coast and we found this nice place to stay in Sorrento. The apartment we stayed for the first two days was decent--it had a full kitchen and washing machine. We got moved to the hotel the 3rd day, which was really nice! Both places were clean. The location of the apartment but more importantly the hotel is excellent-- Right in the center of the City! Breakfast at the hotel was very good with coffee, cornetto, toast, etc. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this place to anyone going to the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Our only complaint was the parking. It cost 20 EUR.

The check-in location and the apartment were in two different locations. The front office was empty most of the time we were there, so no one was there to answer questions, provide the wifi code, nor to check out. When we arrived at the check-in location, the attendant told us that we would have to pay an additional 105 euros for utlities and cleaning fee. Parking was an additional 20 euros per day. The parking fee was normal for such a hotel, but in all the hotels we've stayed in across Europe, we've never paid for utlities and cleaning. So much for the bargain price listed on Expedia. The apartment itself was good for the Expedia price, excluding of course the utilities and cleaning fees.

We payed extra for breakfast and it was on their time schedule, they brought it to the room whether you were ready for it or not. It consisted of a sweet bread with jam that was all. After complaining they brought a cracked pot and packets of coffee. When we arrived the water spigot was laying in the sink and when we tried to use the oven the oven door was broken and would not close. The B&B was located in a alley way but close to beach, restaurants and bus stop.

do not stay here. there are no windows in most of the "apartments" and absolutely no views of any beach. all the information about these rooms is incorrect.

HOTEL LOCATED IN CENTER OF TOWN. Street not too easy to find. Need telephone when travelling to call; since no front desk. Clean confortable. RECOMMENDED.

This B & B we feel was still open as a bait and switch, we paid for downtown, with breakfast, right in the heart of the city, we got a 25 minute walk up a mountain to get to town, room with a kitchen but we were only there one night so no breakfast, etc. The room was very nice but when the sun went down the gasses came up and the area was so stinky that I was ill all night long even with the doors and windows closed, we paid for parking, so add that into the cost . This is a beautiful city and the people were very nice, but it would have been better for us to drive in and take our chances. This was a no-no!!!

Well what a LOCATION!!! right in the middle of Sorrento main street.
We were very surprised that the hotel was so conveniently located ,our balcony overlooked the main steet, which at night is cleared of all cars and made into a late night walking area .all resuaunts ,bars and clubs are below and straight out the front door ,we loved this place .
The hotel manager was great always checking we were ok and anything they could help us with .
They took our car and looked after it ,also delivered it late at night for our departure ,GREAT Place and city.*****

I couldn't call this accomadation a three star B&B, it was a dingy little room there was no internet as promised, the queen bed was actually two singles pushed together and the balcony did not exist. Breakfast was somewhere else but the man running the place although friendly and pleasant was somewhat vague as to where overall it was a huge dissappointment. the only pro was that it was close to the town centre however it was very noisy due to the neighbouring pub & church bells.

The Domus Sorrento was an absolute disappointment. It was not a B&B in the true sense of the word-i.e., there was no one available at a front desk etc. If you wanted assistance a phone number was provided. The entry way was dingy and deserted. The old street the B&B was located on reeked of uring. Basically it was a room rented or leased by the purveyors of the Domus Sorrento to rent out-breakfast was provided by a small espresso bar down the street. One great thing was location-right on the main strip and 1 street away from the old town-1 drawback-very noisy. Overall I would not recommend.
