The property is located in a very busy area. Noisy, not very clean area. Parking is a bit complicated to find, but once you find its easy to get there. The staff is very friendly.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, spacious room. Only gripe could be that the hotel bar wasn’t incredibly well staffed some nights when the restaurant was busy, but waiting a little for a drink there would be my only thing to mention in what was otherwise a great stay. Only a 15 minute walk from the main train station, which was super handy for a trip that was centred around exploring the coast via train.

Hotel is in a very good location for us as the ferry launch is right across the street. It's clean and in good shape!

It was minutes from MSC cruise we were about to take

Nice hotel with own parking (16€/24h). 10m after reception, turn right, press btn. Room was clean and very cosy. Good breakfest with fantastic coffe!
5min walk for metro/underground. Big grocery store (coop) is across the street. Overall we are very happy with our choice.

Everything

Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Was modern and clean. Parking was a little difficult and challenge to find and location was probably ok for cruise ships but on a very busy and noisy road. Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming.

The staff here is wonderful. Everybody from the manager, front desk, dining room staff and housekeeping all were so great. The rooms are a nice size, beds were comfortable and the hotel was incredibly clean. Breakfast was really good as was dinner. The only thing that may be a concern for some travelers is, you have to take the train, which is a walkable distance, for about 4 stops to get to shopping, sight seeing and dining. But we did ok with it. Thank you Holiday Inn Genoa!!

The hotel is not far from the cruise ship dock where we came into Genoa. Although it's not in the centre of town and restaurants, it's right near the Metro and only two stops into the centre, so it only takes 10 minutes to get there. And the Metro is free from 10am - 4pm and 8pm - 10pm.

the room is big, but the light not so bright enough. there were smell of a bit like cigarette, but i reckon that's the fragrance the hotel choose. the breakfast was cheap but good. the car park was a bit confuse to park the car.

Stay was all good but internet service was down at the hotel!

This is a very modern, clean and comfortable hotel with great staff and a very good restaurant. It’s located right next to the cruise port so it’s easy to hop on a ship to your next adventure.

Arriving late off the GNV from Palermo, the Holiday Inn Genoa is a 5 minute drive from the port, a perfect location. It is 2km from the centre of Genoa, but ideally situated for the docks. Very comfortable room, a secure parking space for the car, a friendly welcome at reception. Ideal. We will stay again.

The hotel is really nice with outstanding cleanliness, comfy beds and tasty breakfast. It is located a little bit out of the centre and old city, however it took us just around 15 mins walking time and there is also a plenty of public transport.

I have made a reservation weeks ago in order to be sure to have a room with a baby cot. When we arrived we have been told that we had no baby cot and because of the late arrival no bed could be given because there was no one from the housekeeping available. Additionally the receptionist was impolite and rude. Hôtel to avoid with little children.

We picked this hotel to be close to the train station. That was really convenient. 10 minutes walk. Hotel was very nice. Very spacious room.

The server in the restaurant send me to eat to McDonalds when i ask for a menu for kids. Funny part he tells me the kids in Italy do not drink milk at night jajajaja so ridiculous. At the end he help me but first i have to hear so many absurd things, incredible.

We stayed one night in this hotel. The room was large and clean, the TV too small for this size of a room and the bed not very confortable. For one night, it was just fine.
Breakfast was included and pretty good and varied. Don't hesitate to ask for a freshly squeezed orange juice as the sign says. The waiter will try to push you to have the artificial kind but if you insist nicely, they will relent.
The hotel is conveniently located in front of the ferry terminal and a large supermarket. The center of Genoa is about 20 minutes on foot. There is a metro station not far from the hotel and the metro is free at certain hours.

Property was in excellent shape and one of the nicest Holiday Inns we have ever stayed at.
Our room fronted the main street and sirens went on often until midnight or so. Hotel is a little bit out of the way but a short metro ride takes you into Old Town. Only one stop on the Metro to the railway station but make sure you have a ticket if during the non free hours.

Clean and well equipped. Just the neighbourhood is a bit special at night.

It was convenient for us travelling Europe by train as the main station very close, the restaurant food and breakfast was okay, We dislike that many hotels state they have aircon but then control it to around 24/25 at night, this Holiday Inn didn’t offer a good nights sleep which was a shame. Great pillows though ! Ken & Annie Lovell

The hotel and staff very nice and friendly. Unfortunately the place around the hotel was very dirty.

The reception official vere hiding in the back office when we arrived at 2 p.m. We had to wait 5 minutes.
There was no possibility to leave our post cards to the reseption.
We tried to get in to the hotel restaurant but it was fully booked for a group. So we used a pizzeria nearby.
In general the hotel works well and is clean, only some small things could be better.

Very comfortable and clean room. Close to the port.

The restaurant and food were really bad and the bar doesn’t serve drinks. Location is difficult to get to and parking is a mess. Very industrial city. Find another place to go.

Helpful staff
1.5
This hotel is far from the standard one expects from a hotel with four stars, lacked a lot of facilities and/or it did not work. The breakfast was ok but also not at a four star hotel standard. The cleaning staff didn't properly clean or replace things and as a bonus to our stay the cleaning staff stole a 300€ item from us.
1.5
A very short distance from the ferry terminal with onsite parking, makes this a very convenient stop-over. The staff were all friendly and the room, overlooking the port, clean, quiet and comfortable.

Hotel is very clean and excellent. It is near to the port and walking distance of Dinegro subway station.
There are two local supermarkets in the neighborhood.
Breakfast is very good and restaurant staffs are very friendly.
Parking is at the same floor level of hotel’s third floor access. However, it is tricky to arrive to the parking. It took 45 minutes for us to reach to the parking. The guests should contact the hotel reception how to reach to the parking before arriving to Genoa if you are driving to Genoa.
