Comfortable hotel on the outskirts of the city center. Friendly staff. Bus 9, 11 and 21 stop outside the hotel door. We were there four nights and purchased a five day pass. Walk to city center will take about 15 minutes. Lots of great restaurants

Nice people, large room, good breakfast.

Staff was very helpful with navigating the city. Close walk to city center and university of Padua. Enjoyed breakfast every morning in the garden room. Room was clean. Shower pressure was good, and they were helpful getting taxi to airport.

Nice, quiet street in student area. 15 minute walk to train station.

Nice location in the quiet part of Padova but in the same time very close to the old town. There was no problem with early check-in. The lady at the reception was friendly and spoke English very well. Our economy type room was not spacious but pretty comfy and equipped with everything you need during short stay. Tasty Italian breakfast included in the rate.

There is a lovely breakfast area with garden, also a terrace looking out over the garden.

The hotel seemed nice and the young man at check in was friendly and welcoming. Our room had a terrace but it was not private and did not have a view of anything except another building. But it was quiet and nice enough. The neighborhood seemed safe and quiet, but there was little nearby. The WiFi worked well, but we had some issues with the air conditioning. The listing says 24 hour front desk, but that was not the case. When we left there at 7:00 am no one was at the desk and there was a small sign with the hours indicating that the front desk hours (as well as breakfast) began at 7:30.
Our major issue however was ants. We did not notice anything when we arrived, but when we were packing up our bag to leave the next morning we discovered it was covered with tiny ants. So many in fact that we ended up just leaving the bag in the trash can and putting our things in a plastic bag. We tried to alert the front desk around 6:00am and again when we left at 7:00 but as I said, it was not 24 hours so there was no one to tell. With that being said, the hotel appeared clean and well kept. The bedding, room, and bathroom were well appointed and clean. Not sure where the ants came from.

The senior manager not at all helpful or interested to assist us in any way. He spoke German not English.
The young night manager was most hrlpful thankfully getting wifi to connect and assist in any way.
Breakfast was only adequate not at all worth oating anything extra for?
Rooms clean and centrally located.

We had a lovely 4 day stay at this hotel, and enjoyed it immensely. Helpful and friendly staff and a lovely location. If ever in Padova again this would be our hotel of choice and would certainly recommend it.

Mr. Pulin, the proprietor, is one of the most helpful and pleasant people you will ever meet. The property is modern and clean. The breakfast is perfect.

Great condition, not near central town (only 10 minute walk), but a quieter area. Easy walk (40 minutes) to Stadio Euganeo.

Nice hotel, very clean, good breakfast. The room was too hot with no way to adjust the temperature.

It’s a bit remote from both train station (20+ mins walk) and city centre (15+ mins walk) Streets are very quiet in that area at night. Overall it’s a nice hotel with simple and good breakfast, very clean and cozy.

Very nice hotel within walking distance to many sights

This is a small, independent owner managed hotel with about 30 rooms. The lobby is nice, clean with a small check-in desk and the breakfast area is in the back, There is an elevator for luggage and stairs you can take to and from the room on a daily basis. The rooms are small, European style with older furniture that is well maintained. The linens are clean and of good quality - functional without luxury. Breakfast was European continental with your choice of tea, coffee, espresso, etc.- ample and good quality. The breakfast staff is very attentive.
The hotel is on a neighborhood street with coffee shops and restaurants close by. I walked by myself in the early evening and always felt safe. The streets are darker and as a single woman, I wouldn't walk alone after 9 pm or so - my choice.
Guests are a mixture of people on business and pleasure - mostly couples or singles.
I plan to visit the area again for business and will stay here again.

Amazing host, fabulous breakfast, terrific clean facilities, outstanding place to stay, better than some 4 star places we have stayed!

Nice hotel with a friendly neighborhood feel. The staff was very helpful, the rooms were clean and well maintained and the breakfast was typically European.

Good hotel, spacious renovated rooms and bathrooms but was treated very rude apon arrival to the hotel. We came in late and the night person was very rude as we buzzed in. We did not expect that as we are always very quiet and respectful as hotel guests. Then I had to park the the car and was given barely any directions and it was hard to find being that I had not been there before. The next morning I was hoping for a better experience but I was disappointed again. The man at the desk was rude just asking basic normal questions about Padova. The female staff however were fantastic. As well as the wonderful lady at the breakfast that treated us wonderfully. We had several cafe lattes and she was an amazing young Romanian woman! Bathroom was nice but there was black mold that was not attended to in the shower.
Overall it's a nice hotel but since we were poorly treated twice for no reason I do NOT recommend this hotel. Go somewhere where they value their hotel guests.

I did not expect to be so nice hotel, one of the best we stayed in Italy vacation.

Patavium is a good hotel to stay for a weekend. Although it is small and lack some services, the room was confortable, silent and clean, in a convinient location. The price is fair.

Not easy to find in one-way rabbit warren of streets and truly ugly front door and simple lobby, but rooms, all modern (furniture pained ridiculous silver) are evry comfortable, great bed, fantastic bathroom with Jacuzzi that actually works and rainfall shower that is a delight. Simple buffet breakfast - nothing great - in too-hot dining room. Staff friendly and knowledgable in passable English. No good restaurants close.

Very nice hotel with clean rooms and a good breakfast. Lots of choice. The only negative thing about our stay was the man on reception. He seemed to be put out that we were there bothering him. Not helpful at all and rather rude.

We stayed one night to have a chance to tour Padova on our way to Venice. The hotel is new, set outside of the main tour area but a nice walk to all the attractions. Try the takeout Pizzeria across the street, best falafel I have had

Very modern, clean and spacious hotel with free wifi and good breakfast. It is a located just outside the center which is the ideal balance of convenience and silence. I strongly recommend this property.

If the owner, or proprietor had been a bit friendlier, we would have enjoyed our stay much more, but he wasnt very sociable, or amenable or particularly pleasant. Its a small hotel without a lounge area, except in th dining room, so guests arent encouraged to hang around. Indeed the impression we got was that the sooner we were in and out of the front door, without questions, the better. We wont be returning to this hotel next time we go up to Padua, (although the owner did answer our questions in his efficient manner). The location is ok, about 1 kilometer from the station, but personally Id prefer a hotel closer to the center of this delightful town. The taxi service is excellent so we were not inconvenienced. On the plus side, the room we had was nice and quiet, the bathroom facilities were very comfortable, everywhere was clean. The size of the room, which was a triple, was lovely for a few days stay. The breakfast at the communal dining table was appetising with lots of choice and in abundance. The TV area in the room was good and not loud, so perfect for catching up on the days headlines. Nice touch. We appreciated the free book case of books on our landing. Nice touch!

Good size room, comfortable bed with quality fittings and clean modern bathroom. Staff very helpful and proud of their hotel.
Would stay there again.

The hotel was better than its photos suggested; a great blend of character and modern facilities. It was spotlessly clean. The reception staff were pleasant. Breakfast was an extra cost. You are seated around a communal table- people tended to keep themselves to themselves. We were the only visitors from the UK.It was a 10 minute ( average) walk to the city, which was beautiful. A 2 - 3 day stay in Padua is a must - don't go rushing off to Venice! The place is a gem.

Fabulous breakfast, wonderful staff, simple rooms and right in the centre of Padua. Couldnt do better for the money.

Really liked the hotel itself. Staff wasn't very pleasant. A bit rude, didn't explain anything, when I asked where breakfast is served for example, he pointed behind him and gave me a look like he thought I was daft. Breakfast was typical Italian fare - good and fresh. Breakfast girl was same as front guy - a bit rude. She didn't greet us and I had to go to the bar and wait a few minutes before she finally awknowledged me for my drink order. If they increased their customer service would be 5/5.

All the staff were very helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The hotel is away from the city centre but the walk in is not arduous and taxis are reasonable.

We chose Padova as our central location to visit the surrounding cities: Venice, Verona, Vicenza. I chose the hotel based on the distance from the train station as that was our means of transportation. The other reviews stated it was about 10 minutes. I would venture to say it was more 15-20 minutes. You do walk through a sketchy part of town so I would agree with other reviews to not walk it at night, which of course was when we would arrive back from our day travels forcing us to get a taxi. There is a tram in Padova but is near the train station, so not usable to reach the hotel. The hotel was very clean with modern facilities. Most of the staff were very friendly and spoke English. The gentleman at the front desk upon arrival was a bit rude but warmed up to us towards the end of our stay. Breakfast was good. Typical European breakfast. There is outside seating if the weather permits and you prefer to not sit at the large community table. I would stay at this hotel again if I was staying in Padova briefly but not as my central location for access to the train station. Most definitely not the hotels fault. Very clean and new!
