We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel for our one week stay in Florence. This boutique hotel is gorgeous, comfortable, super clean, well located and the staff friendly and so accommodating. We loved the daily Proseco and cookies and the breakfast was great! A big shout out to our man Leonardo for the great recommendations and hospitality. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Florence.

We were in Italy for 2 weeks and this was hands down the best hotel we stayed at. Service was incredible and The staff was so attentive.
Everything was about a ten minute walk too.

Perfect hotel! I loved this place so much. It has historic charm, amazing service, lots of space (including a full kitchen and walk-in closet) and a very high-quality breakfast. I can't wait to come back.

Wonderful hotel in the center of Florence. Staff out does the Ritz Carlton. Room is well appointed, clean, large, and comfortable. I have stayed in many of the best 5 star hotels all over the world and this hotel’s service tops all of them. Time to hand out that 6th star for service.
The only negative part was i had to leave

Fabulous location! Beautiful large rooms in a renovated Piazza. Luca (head Concierge) was fantastic! He booked restaurants for us and got tickets to busy museums. Very knowledgeable about Florence and transportation - he made our stay so easy and was very friendly. There is a lovely breakfast included w your room. Our room needed some dusting in the window shelving and our rug was a bit stained. The rooms are beautifully appointed...so it’s hard to complain. There is a beautiful kitchen stocked with pots and pans, silverware and anything you need to prepare your own meals. We took advantage of the local restaurants, which were fabulous!

Just visited from California. The hotel and our suite were as pretty as pictured. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Absolutely loved the breakfast buffet (there was something for everyone) and the complimentary drinks and snacks in the lobby! Location was excellent and close to everything. Very well priced for the luxury experience. The staff was welcoming and helpful and we cannot say enough great things about Luca, who made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy Florence.

During showers the water leaked under the door . Toilet kept losing water after flushing .

Everything was fantastic especially the staff! Only down side was the noise on the street late at night. That's not their fault but I did have to sleep with ear-plugs in every night. There is good double-glazed windows but I guess it is just the fact that you are in the center of the city. If I stayed there again I would ask for a room at the back of the property; maybe that would be quieter.

I don’t usually write reviews but this hotel deserves the 5 stars and more! From the location, to the costumer service and the room spaciousness, it is truly remarkable.

The Palazzo Vecchietti was an amazingly wonderful hotel experience. It lives up to the "small, luxury boutique" hotel label. The staff were amazing, especially Luca at the front desk. He (and others) were so friendly, suggesting outings, making sure all is as we like it, etc. There were also two lovely people hosting breakfast (one male one female). I'm ashamed to say that I don't recall their names but they were so lovely, a real welcoming sight in the morning. The other staff keeping our rooms straight or responding to a request for more towels or water, could not have been more fabulous. They were respectful of privacy, basically popping in to clean when we were out and we never saw them but everything was in its place. The location could not have been any better. Centrally located for any tourist. Specifically perfect for me as my daughter's apartment was about 3/4 of a block from the hotel. The staff were always gracious and friendly, especially to my daughter who has been studying in Florence since August. I had not seen her for three months and I first caught sight of her in the lovely lobby of the hotel. Luca offered us champagne and took care of my luggage so my daughter and I could go up and enjoy our lovely room. Luca made sure that my daughter had a key and felt welcome to come and go and enjoy the room while I stayed there. I give the hotel and staff 5+ stars on location, presentation, staff, luxury. We knew whatever we needed, we had only to ask!

My husband and I came back to beautiful Florence and once again choose to stay at the Palazzo Vecchietti. It is such a lovely hotel in a fabulous area. The staff (thanks Paulo and Luca!) are extremely helpful and have great recommendations for restaurants. The restaurants they sent us to became some of the highlights of our stay in Florence. The rooms are large and the housekeeping staff are marvelous. The drinks and cookies in the lobby were a welcome treat at the end (or beginning) of a long sightseeing day. Thanks for making our Florence stay such a treat once again!

Staff was super friendly and attentive. Treated us like royalty and was very knowledgeable about the area and restaurants. Great location, rooms are large and nicely decorated. One note, the entrance is just a door in the middle of the building -does not look like your normal hotel entrance but once inside, it feels very special.

The location is perfect. Right in the heart of the city and walking distance to everything. The staff are truly incredible. They make you feel so welcome and always come to greet you whether you are coming or going. Every attention to detail is taken care of. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again if ever lucky enough to be back in Florence.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Florence. The location is absolutely central, but despite the surrounding bustle the hotel has a spa-like serenity. The staff are fabulous. My wife and I booked the Donatello Suite. Very high ceilings, large elegant living room with plush deep purple couch and lounging chairs, original drawings, well appointed and very large bathroom, elegant bedroom. Wow, wow, wow. The breakfast was delicious. Absolutely top notch in every way.

Absolutely amazing! Service was amazing. The bed and breakfast was beautiful and very spacious. Set in the heart of Florence, it is within a short walk of everything. Luca at the front desk was very welcoming, helpful, and very informative. Breakfast was also great. We felt like we were at home during our trip.
