Excellent - free bottle of wine in the room - 2 bottles of water in the fridge - free wine rating per person at the winery - welcome glass of sparkling wine - all of it was spectacular!

This place is a gem. Anthony working the front desk and bartending was outstanding. The room was spacious, full of charm and upgraded touches while keeping the charm of its history.

Hotel was a great location, parking was easy, room was clean, staff was excellent! Love the history of the building.

Our stay was pleasant but had a few issues. The room was relatively small even for a “suite”. The room had a temp A/C unit in bedroom which vented out of the window. It was taped but was not done to prevent outside noise. Room was very loud with car noise from street. Continental breakfast was minimal, bagels, small cereals and yogurt. No decaf coffee served. Safe in room malfunctioned and would not open. Hotel does not have a fail safe key in event of problem. Overall, an okay stay but hotel needs a bit of a refresh and some kinks fixed.

We are very happy with our stay at the Gould Hotel. It was convenient to all that we wanted to do. We are considering coming back and will definitely stay there again. We discovered many more things to do in the area.

The room was nice and comfortable. The sofa was cute but small for 2 adults. Nice to have the breakfast food as an option. However, the overall value for money is poor.
Was quite surprised and disappointed when we asked for late check out and they gave us 30 extra minutes. When I asked for an additional 30 mins (would give us an extra hour in total), no only 30 mins. I appreciate small hotels have a limited number of staff and limited time to clean the rooms for new guests, but we were leaving on the Sunday of the labor day weekend - not a busy time for new guests to be arriving. I assume 30 mins is the policy for late check outs. The staff should have discretion to judge if more time is possible.

The Gould is our go to hotel in Seneca Falls. Boutique hotel that has a great restaurant for dinner. Conveniently located for exploring wineries.

Great location for touring Seneca Falls. Room was just ok for the price, clean but pretty small. Nice to have a cold continental breakfast, but no decaf unfortunately. We wanted to leave our bags for a few hours, but they could not accommodate this request.

Great stay! Seneca Falls is a wonderful place for wine tours or enjoying Central NY. Everything was wonderful for my two night stay

A charming old hotel. From check in to dining and drinks the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was great, ample room, a crisp and clean bathroom and a very comfortable bed. There was a nice selection of amenities, the bedding was comfortable and the towels were nice and fluffy.

Great hotel, comfortable, nice ambiance and very friendly staff. Perfect location just steps from all of the historic site. The room was just the right size for two people with a classic decor. The king bed and pillows were so comfortable. Highly recommend

We were not expecting this stay to be as nice and comfortable as it is. The A/C fan unit was noisy and there is light that peeks through the curtain - although it wasn’t a problem for us it did bother others who were complaining upon arrival. The woman at the desk was doing anything she could to accommodate them from what we heard.

Hotel is old but rooms and baths renovated, clean, comfortable. “Breakfast,” on the other hand, awful. No yogurt, sugary kids cereals only. Plastic wrapped plain bagels the only bread. No decaf coffee in breakfast area. Kureg in room didn’t work. Manager “sorry” but offered no adjustment to bill.

This family owned and operated hotel was very clean, friendly and dog-friendly! Anthony, the owner, and his mom and aunt, some of the housekeepers, were very welcoming to us (my husband and I) and our German Shepherd. Our suite was very roomy and spotless, and the whole hotel had modern yet old school vibes with hardwood floors and black and white tiled bathrooms. Rooms were stocked with a Keurig and all the necessities including real creamer, a mini fridge, a microwave and bathroom toiletries. Continental breakfast was available as well as an in-house restaurant for lunch and dinner (the menu looked great but we didn’t end up eating there). I would definitely recommend The Gould Hotel and would return!

Great location, friendly staff. The hotel needs a refresh. There is a lack of attention to details - the elevator is scratched up, the glass entry doors are dirty, the hall carpets are dingy.

Nice little hotel in nice little town. Restaurant and bar were not open when we were there.

Poor service-the manager was working the front desk while bussing tables in the restaurant. There was no sign telling you to go to the restaurant. We got to our room & it reeked of marijuana. We thought we would leave & come back & maybe it would be gone-nope. Had to change rooms. We had been to a couple wineries & wanted to keep it cold, there was no mini fridge. We tried to find ice, there were no machines & again no one at front desk. Manager was friendly & bed was comfortable, so that was ok. The price we paid did not equal what we got from the experience at all. We paid double what we should have!

Overall a fine place to stay, lots of historic charm. However our king mattress was horrendous, it basically had a big pit in the middle and we both woke up with sore backs. Also the couch arm was broken and looked terrible. Place needs some updating of furniture to earn more stars.

Beautiful hotel. Cleanest room I've ever stayed in. It has a restaurant that i did not try but it was busy and seemed to be an enjoyable spot.

The hotel was very cool, common areas were nice. The bed was not comfortable at all, worn out and very sunk in the middle. A poor night of sleep ruined what could have been a phenomenal stay. Dinner and drinks were very good.

When arrived parking is easy to find and free. I arrived earlier than expected and Anthony was able to check me in 1 hour early! I very much appreciated that. Got into my room and it’s very clean and the bed is comfortable. The air conditioning works well for these hot summer days.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Would have liked to have a seating option to an office chair and there was room. Would also have liked a list of amenities in the room. We had a fantastic dinner the first night and was surprised to find the restaurant and bar closed Wednesday night. Not sure we will stay here again but would definitely eat here again.
