The check in process was late and the when I ask for double beds, the person at the front desk was rude saying that they ran out of rooms without offering help

No Viable Internet. I had a business meeting online, and the 1-2mb speeds that I got -- when it worked at all -- was woefully inadequate. I had to run out at night and buy a Telcel Mexico phone.
I later discovered that the coffee place across the street has 400mb.
So, this hotel is trying to saving money by with an unsuable internet connection. This is like having no hot water, or lights that won't go on. It's not up to modern standards, and this hotel should be avoided by anyone who uses the Internet.
I told the staff several times, and of course they know that their screwing over their guests. It's not their fault. It's management's failure to pay for internet service. So, the cute response they will give me for this review is just garble.

Great location with a great night life.

The design of the buildings is very odd and confusing. We arrived late and very tired and got lost trying to find the room. The man at the reception desk could have provided useful directions. In addition, the hotel is located by the freeway, which makes it very difficult to access if you are coming from the opposite side of town.

First night I found hair under the blankets. I called reception and after 30 minutes they sent someone to clean and change the sheets. My Son’s room was missing the mini fridge, I reported and never got one.

It is a good hotel, however a bit uncomfortable if you stay in the newer building, long way to walk to the elevators.

Camino real has degraded his services to the worst. I will never stay in this place

The hotel was quiet and nice. There are two open malls nearby, but they have limited restaurants to choose from (only a handful but definitely better than nothing. The restaurant on the property is okay. There's not a lot of options. Coffee and cake are the highlights.

Property is in a great location, the restaurant and the pool are very nice. Service at the restaurant took unusual long even though it wasn’t busy. On Sunday they have a breakfast buffet that was very good. The room was a let down. It looks recently renovated at the lowest possible cost. The AC didn’t work very well, it was either freezing or not cold enough

Hotel is just ok, I have stayed in a much better Camino real in Mexico City and if you compare it is a bit disappointing. Another thing is on floor 5 the smell is like the hotel kitchen is right there.
4.0
Nice pool area. Good service.
On the other hand, internet speed has to be improved. The room was a bit hot, the AC was not strong enough to cooldown the temp.

Air conditioning in the rooms is very bad. If you are staying in the tower be ready to be in an oven during the day. The rooms get to 30 Celsius and that was at 10am.

Excelent ubication, theres a lot of non usage spaces, the complete mall for example

The hotel is clean and nice. The lobby restaurant "La Huerta" has an overpriced menu and the food is not great. The valet parking service is really slow and the staff are not kind. The rooms are old but clean and maintained.

Street noise was an issue, even with the patio doors closed. We had some maintenance issues ass the property is showing its age.
