Nice rooms , nice pool ( could be a little more warm ) , good service ; they need a generator to supply energy when energy blackout occurs

This property is beautiful and conveniently located halfway between the center and the Catedral ski slopes. The receptionist was extremely helpful and even delivered breakfast extra early for us when we had an early excursion. Very friendly staff all around and VERY happy with my stay! š

so they dont offer breakfast as they say they do... we just got a box - fruit and dry cereal. not even coffee or milk. the rooms are smaller and not as described. it says sofa bed - but in reality its just a sofa... doesnt even pull out. the staff is a mess and not helpful AT ALL. theres a ton of other places to stay that are worth it.

PS.: please be aware that the windows are specially design for Patagonian high winds. It feels like they are broken if you do not know how to operate. Ask hotel personnel to show you.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Very family friendly. We were lucky to get one of the rooms with the lake view, other rooms have trees blocking the lake. Architecture is very nice with a small indoor-outdoor pool, However be aware that it is more like a motel in the sense that rooms are a separate building from check-in and amenities, so if you arrive by taxi make sure the taxi drops off your luggage at the top.

Great hotel, lovely pool. Not all rooms have lake view so make sure you ask. Jacuzzi bath was a highlight. Would have been nice if bin had been emptied and if there were a few basic cooking condiments. Staff were great and apartment was large and clean and lovely.

Nice room but no internet. The staff did not apologise or offer any compensation.

Nice rooms but one needs to go around the building (outside) to reach the pool and reception area. Our room had a defect in the heating system.

Rochester Bariloche is an outstanding hotel. It is new, clean and has excellent service staff. The rooms are huge as it is a loft design. The staff are very helpful and they can speak decent English.

Great and spacey rooms, with beautiful location facing the lake.
Also, nice and helpful staff.
The Spa is very small and a bit dated. Only one shower and no lockers - all clothes must be left in an open closet and thereās not direct access from the hotel to the spa, which is very uncomfortable with cold weather.
itās a bit far from town centre, so you always need to take a bus or a cab.
The breakfast is very poor, although I liked the fact they leave it at your door at 8am.

The "Loft" was supposed to comfortably sleep four adults in 4 twin beds. The lofted platform with two beds was all right. There was a 3rd bed tucked away under the stairway in the main room (don't wake with a start, if you need your head that day), and the fourth person was simply supposed to sleep on a mattress on the floor. No breakfast service, since there is a "fully functioning" kitchen, where it turned out the two-burner glass-ceramic unit did not work. We were finally instructed to remove the fridge and check the electric plug, which - of course - was not plugged in correctly. The thermostat is located 2 m (6 1/2ft) above ground and guests are asked to climb on a chair to adjust the temperature. The beautiful jacuzzi tub is pure show, since the "hot" water doesn't warm to more than a "notch" beyond luke-warm, and therefore the tub would be cold again by the time it's filled up. Foreigners are not supposed to pay the 21% V.A.T, but unless you insist on it, they simply convert your Expedia-USD price with an extremely disadvantageous rate into Argentine Pesos and "forget" to take off the tax. We are fully fluent in Spanish and therefore, managed to get this corrected.

This property is located just a few minute cab ride from town, but is so comfortable and quiet except for some road traffic. The rooms have a mini kitchen so you can do some grocery shopping to make things like coffee and simple stuff with a small stove top that is in the room. We also ordered take out a couple nights and dined at the table in our room after working our tails off on some day hikes. The staff here for the most part were very helpful and friendly.

We decided to splurge on a couple of our stays in South America. Rochester in Bariloche was one. I would recommend having a car if you stay here, as it isn't close to town. I'm pretty sure we saw the local bus go past too. Saying there - 15 mins out of centro - gives you quicker access to Cerro Catedral and some other scenic lake areas en route. Plus it is situated just across from the main lake. We liked the patio and sliding doors. The pots and pans in the kitchen have seen better days. Very scratched up non-stick coatings didn't invite too much cooking. Might be time to replace to bring them up to the standard of the rest of the property's features. I kept the bathroom window open, which meant there was a bit of road noise, since the hotel is on the main artery.

Hotel is in a good location and the rooms are nice, big, and clean, although we were on the far end, so didnt really have a view of the lake. The rooms closer to the entrance have much better views.

This is a small hotel with vast and comfortable rooms, swimming pool and a superb view on the lake. It is about 7 kms from downtown, but busses bring you there regularly. The staff is helpful and friendly. When we came they hadn't received our Expedia reservation, but contact with Expedia support service straightened things up smoothly.

We stayed for one night at a bargain price. The rooms overllook the lake and are fantastically equipped. There is a pool that starts from inside the hotel and goes outside. Friendly birds come to your patio door. The only downside is if you arriving by bus it is a $Arg 50 taxi ride from the bus terminal. There is a little convenience store just down the road.Everyone had told us that Bariloche was not worth visiting because of the Ash clouds but we saw some dust but nothing to spoil the attraction of the place.
