Paradise within paradise. When my partner and I arrived that was our first impression. Then when we left that impression did not change. Naxos itself is a beautiful rural island and Finikas fits right in as it’s own little private experience on the southern side of the island. With beautiful amenities that compliment its location and the beaches only a few steps away, I don’t know where else we would want to stay upon returning to Naxos in the future

We spent 7 day at Finikas Beach Hotel and had a wonderful stay there. The location directly at the beach with private loungers and parasols was great. We never used the pool just because we preferred the sea and beach.
The room was really nice and clean. All staff was very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant has a small menu but the food was delicious which we had one time at the dinner.
Breakfast is served until 11 which we enjoyed and there is quite a selection but every day the same.
We had a car during our stay which was helpful to get around and also explore the island. So, we cannot judge how good the hotel can be accessed with the public transportation/buses.
We can highly recommend this place and would come back anytime.

Stunning hotel on a beautiful and nearly private beach in middle of a national park! We stayed in the family suites that include large yards, some with a pool. I would definitely stay there again. The only issue we experienced is that there was no internet due to the remote location. But we enjoyed the peace that brought. You definitely need to rent a car to stay here, but everthing is within 15-30 minute drive.

Loved this property, made me want to stay longer. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff. Would definitely recommend!

Had to wait for an hour and a half for check in. They told us to wait at the pool bar, but never showed up. We finally went back to reception, and they didn’t know what we were talking about. Waited again for manager. Reception never answered the phone from the room. Always had to walk down to reception. No coffee in the room, coffee at the restaurant isn’t available until 8:00am. Pool closes at 6:00pm (because there is no life guard)???

Wonderful hotel to escape the crowded beaches and town of Naxos. Very peaceful, beautiful beach in front of the hotel with walking to other beaches. Hotel breakfast is very nice and the restaurant/ breakfast seating area has a great view. Staff is friendly and helpful. Perfect place to escape and relax.

Most of the staff were very young and inexperienced, and at times stressed. Appreciate that we all have to learn jobs but there didn’t seem to be any management around to guide them.
Our room was fine but the bathroom could do with updating and only a hand held shower.
A couple of other small gripes. Wifi was non existent in the rooms and the pool was salt water when the beach was 20 odd meters away. Didn’t see the point.

We had an amazing 8 day stay here. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. Rooms and grounds were cleaned daily. Views were beautiful. Location was far enough away from rest of island that it didn't feel overly crowded and touristy, even though it was easy to get to. Would absolutely choose this place again to stay!

Excellent place. Excellent service. The pool area is really great! Break could be better. Otherwise excellent place.

We loved our 5 night stay here. We had the 2nd best room there- the top level 2 bd. W/huge terrace and hot tub. The unit directly below us had better shade and an infinity plunge pool- next time we would stay there. The only downside was a lack of door latches to keep the doors open to let the breeze in, so they kept slamming closed. We used various furniture items to help with this but it’s an easy fix. One other thing to note is that although there is a full kitchen there are no utensils or plates/cups- which didn’t matter to us as we never intended to cook anything but it was strange to see that. Also no coffee maker so you have to get that from the on site restaurant- which had a fantastic breakfast buffet with the nicest servers. Lunch and dinner however were just OK- better to eat elsewhere close by.
The highlight service was was the lovely and sweet Eva at reception- she went above and beyond with helping us with every detail and is such an asset to this hotel she deserves accolades- and a raise !

A bit remote, but lovely, well maintained property.

Excellent location for quiet relaxing vacation with family and beautiful, well kept property.

The hotel is a bit far from the town, but on a beautiful setting with nice restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful and drove us to nearby beach since the bus did not run often due to COVID-19 and reduced tourists.

Excellent Hotel to stay if you want peace and quiet

We absolutely loved our stay at the Finikas Hotel! The property is situated on a lovely beach where not many people visit so it is private. The pool is gorgeous!
We had a beautifully appointed room that was very comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We loved our stay there!

Friendliest staff I've ever meet at any hotel. The pool was very nice and relaxing. Amazing views and the beach was very close also. A little far of a drive from the port of Naxos, but a bus stop is right outside the hotel and it is easy to take back to town.

We stayed at Finikas hotel for part of our Honeymoon trip. It was so beautiful and the staff was incredible. The bed was very comfortable. The grounds were well kept and so green. I really would love to come back and stay there again soon. The food at their restaurant was absolutely delicious. Wonderful experience all around.

We had a wonderful time (even that it was short for personal situations) they staff was super friendly and helpful.

Modern, clean and well run hotel at the quiet, southwest of the island. We stayed in a room with outdoor jacuzzi which had a great view of the sea, only problem it was next to the reception so noisy with lots of people coming and going. Not a great beach at this location but free sun beds and the sunset was pretty. Nice pool area. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and the staff were friendly. Not so much choice for lunch/dinner.
We stated early June when the local buses were not running to this part of the island so we hired a car which was great for exploring the island and the beautiful beaches at Plaka and Mikri Vigla nearby. Also recommend Faros restaurant a 5 min drive away for lunch or dinner.

We had a fantastic time at Finikas Hotel. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The on-site restaurant was very good and we enjoyed all of our meals there. The wait staff was friendly and courteous. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was in a remote part of the island away from the mad-house in the city. Beautiful property with excellent staff. Definitely rent a car though!

The photos of this place are misleading and it is NOT a beachhotel. It is located in the middle of nowhere, at the otherend of the Island. A quiet trafficked dirtroad runs in front between hotel and beach. The beach is useless, waters are shallow and its full of rocks. There is no village, no restaurants (you would want to eat i ) except the one at the hotel, and that one is not good. A hugge disappointment, when you spend that kind of money for a family vacation and changes cannot be made. This is the first time I ha e felt that hotels.com has let me down....but big time.

The resort was beautiful and the staff was excellent. We had an ant problem in kitchen of our unit and the staff addressed it right away. The beds and pillows were very comfortable! Naxos beach views gorgeous. A bit quiet in the area around the resort which we loved! We walked with our 2 teenage daughters to a restaurant down the road. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Lovely comfortable, clean and well maintained rooms. Good size pool with very comfortable sunbeds, clean towels were provided for use at pool. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, went out oif their way to make our stay very enjoyable. Would recommend for a quiet and relaxing holiday. As the hotel is a bit remote would advise car hire.
A huge thank you to all the staff for making our stay very enjoyable

We arrived at our hotel, were pleasantly surprised by an upgraded room, and continued to have our every need taken care of by the friendly, attentive staff. The rooms are very clean and the beds are wonderfully comfortable. If you want to spend time in town, a rental car is recommended. But one could also be quite happy staying at the hotel and relaxing at the quiet beaches that surround it. Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel, though separated from the beach by a (less frequented) dirt road, look for one of the renovated rooms!

Great location - on the beach (just across the street). Large pool, a beautiful tree with flowers as on the pics. Breakfast ok, service is close to good hotel standards (friendly but a bit impersonal). Close to many good restaurants like Faros and Axiotissa. I would recommend to the hotel to add some "little special things" that would give it a bit more of a Naxian flavor (little candy treats, local liquor or fruits in the room) - which would make it even more special to its guests. Overall good hotel on the beach close to Aluko beach and Pyrgaki.
2.5
A very relaxing hotel, with a sea Pool and The best of all in a very isolated area surrounded by little not organized beaches you can Wallk to.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant is a bit slow serving the orders but all the crew is very nice.
We spent a few really special days.
I hope we can come back soon.

We had a great stay. The location is beautiful, the hotel is nice, the beach is beautiful to look at but pebbly so we drove to the sandy beach nearby. We had a very ample suite with a small separate bedroom for our son and a terrace overlooking the pool and beach. Very clean room, great bathroom, friendly staff. Breakfast was served on a nice covered terrace overlooking the sea. On the last day we had to check out by noon but we were able to lounge by the pool and then shower and change at the bathroom of the gym. They were ultra helpful. The reception staff was helpful. She gave us tips about restaurants, sights and beaches and they were all spot on.

Outstanding hotel. Beautiful and calm. I will highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet place away from the busy beaches in Greece. You will need a car or motorcycle but many beaches to visit.

Nice hotel with good swimming pool, and excellent location with several beaches nearby.

Finikas was outstanding on so many levels. The property was beautfully situated on the beach with an amazing pool and immaculately manicured grounds. The rooms were modern and exceptionally clean and the free breakfast was varied from day to day and delicious. The onsite restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced with selections our kids also enjoyed. The staff was very attentive and friendly and was very helpful in arranging a rental car prior to our arrival so it was waiting at the port for us. I would recommend a rental car as the property is located in the southern part of the island and about a 20 to 30 minute drive south of the Naxos town and will afford you the opportunity to explore the island. There are a couple of other restaurants close by and moustakis grocery store is also very close, well stocked, and reasonably priced. Thank you everyone at Finikas for a memorable stay, we will be back!

nice staff there, very friendly. peaceful place for relax.

I travel A LOT and never review hotels. This is the first time I actually feel inspired to do so. The service in Greece is worthy and here goes my first.
Finikas was the kind of hotel that with their personal touch make you feel truly welcomed and a true special guest. The service is TOP notch! Upon arrival, my husband and I were greeted by Dimitrios, the hotel manager, as if though we had arrived at his personal home, immediately treating us to a glass of kitron, the local Naxos liqueur. He then proceeded to spend a good 20 mins explaining in full detail all there was to see and do in the island including his personal recommendations. His attention to detail was impeccable. He wouldn't even let us touch our luggage, citing "Let me, you're on vacation now." I can't think of a better way to have kicked off our visit to the Cyclades Islands and felt extremely welcomed.
The hotel is somewhat isolated which makes it excellent for disconnecting. At night all you can hear is the waves from the ocean and the birds chirping! A real mini paradise.

Enjoyed our stay. Only real drawback was the Mosquitos which appeared at dusk when the wind died down. Salt water pool was very nice. Beach was very rocky. Hotel staff was excellent especially the bartender/waiter.
