Love this hotel. It’s my second time here and I feel at home.
10.0
Cons: The night guy is cranky, and their system of having us all leave our room keys at the front desk when we leave lead me to have to go back down the stairs to get mine almost every time I left and returned (because who even thinks of picking up a key one normally already has?).
Pros: Everything else. The room, even if a bit small, was beautiful and comfortable; the main-shift desk attendant is a lady with a wonderful and helpful disposition; the mattress was just right for me; the free apples to grab on the way in was very convenient; the hotel is full of rustic/traditional beauty and is located in the most appealing and walkable area of the city.

This is a cute little boutique hotel, that was close to the downtown area. it was close to a lot of places to eat and shop.

Great overall! Petra checked us in and was wonderful! So welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was perfect for us before we headed out for the day. Rooms were clean and quiet. We were surrounded by beautiful gardens. Only downside is street parking, but there are parking garages close by.

This was the sweetest place! The hotel was an oasis, with interior outdoor spaces built to enjoy.
Our hostess was INCREDIBLE. Queretaro is a joy to visit and way less touristy than other places on the regular beat. The breakfast delivery was dependable and the furnishings were lovely. Definitely recommend.

the staff was very nice
The owner of the property is a rude person whom doesn't care for the costumers

great location in centro, beautiful appointments in bedrooms and bathroom, wonderful staff, very clean, lovely decor throughout, skylights, plants and several courtyard areas plus rooftop sitting area for relaxing--would definitely stay at El Serafin again

Awesome property and excellent staff

It was a pleasant stay, however, wouldn't I wouldn't stay again. We were placed in a room on 1st floor towards the back near kitchen. Ask for a room on the 2nd floor which I what I should have done. Bed could use more pillows and water takes too long to get hot. About 5-10 minutes. Many more options for next time.

Greatly surprised at this marvel of hotel!

Pros: cute property, very well located, friendly staff, lovely terrace
Cons: the building and furnishings are old and haven't been maintained well. For example, there was a bad smell from the drain in thee room we were first assigned. We requested a room change. Also, the facility was poorly staffed (or under-staffed) during the week, but the service improved markedly over the weekend.

I enjoyed every aspect of El Serafín. The location was ideal for an urban trekker being in the heart of the city. The staff were friendly, provide good service and everything was well kept. The historic nature throughout premise created the perfect ambience.

Certainly a hidden gem. Beautiful house a block away from the city's center. Once you pass the front desk you'll enter a beautiful colonial house. Our room was spacious and clean. Our stay included a continental breakfast and it was very well prepared. We were asked at what time we wanted and they were always punctual and courteous. The patio has some comfortable chairs where you can pass a good time with a book and enjoy the place. It doesn't have a restaurant but just a few steps from it you'll find Terraza Carola which serves Mexican nouvelle cuisine.
Service was always courteous, professional, and with a smile.
We definitively will go back.

Great location near all the historical district museums, churches, plazas etc.
PRO TIP: the big 2 bedroom suite is located on the street side and can be noisy.

They actually had washcloths, which many Mexican hotels do not. I did not like having to go so far from the hotel to find parking

I will give this hotel 5 stars because it has great location in downtown, hotel was very clean and staff was extremely friendly. The bed were a little hard and pillows not the best but for the price paid we couldnt complain. If you are picky then pay for a 5 star hotel. Staff are nice and friendly . Breakfast is very good only had it once because we wanted to try other restaurants but if you are on a budget you will love the breakfast.

Nice boutique hotel nestled in the middle of centro. We had a couple of issues but they were resolved. Cute decor and friendly staff. Nice breakfast tray delivered to our room each morning. Room amenities need a refresh but otherwise very pleased with this hotel.

Old world charm, very clean and very courteous staff. Central location on a busy street, but good safety precautions. Basic amenities; good value for a brief stay.

Very intimate and comfortable, we have to make some changes and did it with not problem at all. Special thanks to Mrs Maria and the over night people. We definitely stay there again.

The check-in process was smooth; and even though I don’t speak Spanish and the front desk staff during check-in did not speak English, the process went quickly. The rooms are clean and relatively quiet, and have reliable Wi-Fi. I received continental breakfast of fruit, toast, butter, jam, juice and coffee, all delivered to my door. The room was also cleaned daily, which I appreciated. The staff is very friendly and attentive. This hotel is definitely one that I would recommend to my friends and family, as there are lots of restaurants within walking distance, and the local area is clean and felt safe.

The hotel is nestled in the central district of Old Quaretero. Made from an old patio style home it is in a great location. Easy to get too and from meals amd history. The staff was wonderful, but make sure you wither speak
Fluent Spanish or use a lot of Google Translate.

I think it's not only a very nice place to stay, it is also in a privileged location and walking distance to everywhere.

This place is nice and very “cute” but there were a couple things we were not impressed with. We got in early and they gave us a room right away which was great. The decor and the amenities were awesome. The roof deck was cool and the location is great. The shower however was like standing under a garden hose that took forever to warm. Also got water everywhere. The black out shades did not really work and the beds were hard as a rock. That being said the AC worked great and the customer service was excellent.

Loved this cute boutique hotel! Our room was spacious, clean, hot strong water pressure in shower, amazingly comfortable bed!
The service was wonderful - they were willing to assist with anything we needed. Rooftop patio was nice. Great for families.
This is also a PERFECT location, close to everything. Will definitely stay here again! Also very good value for the money!

Espero volver pronto.

The hostess Maria was welcoming and helpful as was the other staff we encountered. The hotel was pretty, though old. We would have rated the hotel higher but there was an overwhelming foul odor in our room…sewer gas maybe? The odor was present the entire time making the stay most unpleasant. The bed was hard and the shower had issues. The location was good but parking was offsite and about 2 blocks away. There was no place to stop and unload luggage without stopping traffic on the road. Not a very streamlined setup. Would not stay here again nor recommend this hotel for these reasons.
