It was not what we expected with issues on amenities/services in the hotel. The draining system in the room was quite bad with waters running out of the bathroom in the bedroom area, we almost slipped several times. We asked extra towels for the water situation and extra toiletries that were not provided. The pool we had access to was without lights during the nights and they didn’t fix it with the justification of a blackout as the cause and they were rather awkward when we asked to use another pool that nobody was using during the night for us to feel safe saying we can use it for a few minutes when we paid to have access full time (the experience did not make us comfortable so we never did use it for a few minutes). Breakfast was good but limited in variety. We did speak with a couple of Greek staff that gave us good tips to explore the island and that was appreciated. Nobody bothered to ask during the stay and on check-out how our stay was.

Alex, that checked us in was over the top accommodating. Arranged transfers, car rental, beach cabanas, took the time to show us on the map points of interest and gave us advice throughout the trip. He’s so passionate about Naxos and sharing it with us. Accommodations were also phenomenal. Hope to go back again

The villas were absolutely beautiful, and the staff was even better! So accommodating and extremely hospitable.

The hotel (a collection of villas) is in between Naxos town and the beaches. It is twinned with a beach side complex in Plaka (about 15 minutes drive away). The villas are clean, spacious, with lots of outside space. The Naxian offers the best of staying in a villa (space, facilities, pool) along with the benefits of being part of a hotel (breakfast, local knowledge, room servicing). The dining space is bright, white and light, with communal tables and an outdoor space. The views from our villa was the town port (to the front) and the sea, mountains & islands to the rear. Its pretty idyllic. Theres a mix of guests from families, to honeymooners, to seasoned travellers - although all seem to be comfortable and catered for. The hotel do offer meals outside of breakfast, but they felt over priced (€20+ for a main), and the dining room lacks atmosphere (and customers) in the evening. There are so many different restaurants in town and on the beach, you would be foolish not to go out each evening to experience the multitude of (reasonably priced) cuisines available within a short drive.

An overall good hotel but not great value for your money. Its not walking distance from main town and most of the hotels nearby are a lot cheaper. Great hotel staff and customer service. Restaurant in hotel needs a lot of work.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights on the first stop of our honeymoon, and I can't say enough about how kind and welcoming the staff are at Naxian Collection. The property is amazing and it's just a short drive away from Naxos town.
We mostly kept to ourselves as it was our honeymoon, but after talking with the staff (Petros and Stella were especially helpful) we left wishing we had interacted with them more.
I highly recommend eating dinner on the property at least once. The food was great and the service was excellent. The two male servers (whose names I unfortunately can't recall) were outstanding - on our first night one of them gave us a tour of the wine cellar and recommended a great bottle of wine to pair with my wife's entree (and a nice cigar for me.
After checking out, Petros gave us a ride back to the port, during which we were able to speak with the owner's wife. You see her on Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown (he stayed on the property and visits her parents' home for a meal). Can't say enough about how nice she and the rest of the staff are. If we can make it back to Naxos we will definitely be staying here again.

Great stay. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They spent time with us on arrival going through the map of the island and all the places worth visiting. The best places to eat and drink too. They were more than happy to help and arrange a rental car. The room was very spacious with a great pool that was only for us and the room above. We had loungers and two private terraces to choose from. Excellent.

The Naxian collection was truly outstanding. We were greeted promptly on our arrival by Peter and provide a glass of wine and some treats while he explained the facility and some things to do on the island. Our suite was incredible - 2 stories with living room, kitchen and two bedrooms with a great wrap around porch and 2nd floor balcony. The real topper was the large private pool with beautiful view of the town and ocean in the distance.
The staff at the Naxian Collection was constantly making sure we had what we needed. Maria and George, the owners, are there on site and are truly concerned that you have everything you need to make your stay fantastic. We enjoyed great breakfasts outside and had a fantastic dinner on the back patio as well.
They also have recently opened a beachfront hotel in Placca that is truly amazing. We spend a great day on the beach!
Overall, the stay was incredible and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This was a lovely hotel in a quiet location. The owner and manager of the hotel are wonderful people and very service-oriented. The only problem we had during our stay was that there were a lot of ants in our room and bathroom - the tiny ones - but they were definitely a nuisance. Otherwise, the villa was lovely and we really enjoyed having our own pool. The breakfast was good and they had a nice area to have breakfast each morning - you could eat inside or outside.

From the time we arrived, Petro the operations manager went out of his way to make us feel REALLY at home.We arrived early and he did his upmost to get our room ready ahead of check in time and offerred us drinks and breakfast whilst we waited as he knew we had been on a long flight. Staff continually went above and beyond and i would definantly return to this hotel. Our room was a family suite with an adjoining pool right at our doorstep. Generous room with kitchenette, meals area, adjoining verandah with table setting and separate pool area with sun lounges and umbrellas. What a little gem of a find and great value for money.BRAVO on running a great hotel and i cant wait to come back.

We were looking for an Easter break getaway with our children, and decided to try Naxos based on the recommendation of a friend. We chose the Naxian Collection based on the online recommendations, and were not disappointed. Maria, Petra and the rest of our team made us feel like family. The rooms were wonderful, the swimming/hot-tub incredible, and the food out of this world. Naxos is a bit rustic, which we loved, discovering beach after beach - most of which we had to ourselves. The Naxian Collection, in stark contrast, was modern, well-equipped and cosmopolitan. Everything was inviting and comfortable, with incredible service.

My husband and I took a 12 day adventure through some of the Greek islands. This was absolute perfect way to end the trip. Maria and Ioannis went ABOVE and BEYOND for us. You can tell how much they love what they do.
The room, oh my! Nicest luxury villa I have stayed in in my entire life! Private pool, steam room in the bathroom with a rainfall shower. I mean when I got home I looked at my apartment bathroom in disgust :)
Breakfast was beautiful and made to order. I will never forget the delicious wine, I want some now :(.
I will continue to tell my friends and family to stay here for years to come!
Thanks you to everyone at the Naxian collection for making our lives and memories so much more rich and beautiful!

A large and clean villa with it's own pool. Owners are remarkably helpful and accomadating. Reasonable off-season pricing as well.

The owner and the staff are always very keen to help and go beyond to make guests feel at home. We received very good tips on attractions, restaurants and plans on the island. The hotel facilities are very beautiful, and the room was absolutely amazing (with private pool)!!

Travelling with two small kids can be a nightmare yet at Naxian Collection everyone understood the challenge of it. Facilities were made for a relaxing stay and the staff who was extremely helpful. The boys loved the private pool and the coolness of the villa after a sun filled day. Whilst the location itself was quiet, the beautiful Naxos town was only a 10min ride away, same for the popular beaches. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

The family that run the Naxian Collection provide a relaxed and beautiful home for your stay. Home made marmalades and fresh baked goodies every morning as you take in the breathtaking views of Naxos Island. The accommodation is very luxurious and cleaned well everyday. Assistance is available should you require it and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended We will definitely go back again!

The Naxian Collection is a wonderful boutique resort. You get highly personalized service from the hotel owner and his wife. The food is the best on the island, the service exceeds that of most five star hotels. The rooms have their own private swimming pools which, to my surprise, were rather large. On arriving at the hotel, we were greeted with a carafe of wine, and an assortment of island cheeses and jams. The personalized attention continued throughout our stay. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

We stayed here on our honeymoon and loved it. It is a small family-run set of luxury suites. Iannis and Maria are very welcoming and attentive, so it feels very personal. Not a traditional hotel. Iannis welcomed us with a talk about things to do on Naxos, along with a bottle of ouzo, cheese, sardines, and other treats. They cooked us a large and very tasty dinner. Iannis has an impressive wine cellar, so you should definitely have him pick you out a bottle.
It's not located right on the beach, so you will need a car, but you'll want one anyway to explore the island.
We stayed in the Junior Suite. The room is well stocked with a mini fridge, glasses, bottle openers, etc. Our room had a private balcony with a nice view and a shared swimming pool. The rooms are a good size, very clean, and nicely appointed. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub, but it is a bit on the small side. Definitely too small for two people and even a little cramped for one 6 foot tall man. Also, it doesn't have a traditional shower, just a detachable shower head that can be held in your hand to wash yourself, but we ended up flooding the floor every time because the tub is so small. It looked like the larger suites had private outdoor showers and maybe a larger tub, so it is probably worth it to consider them.
Naxos is well worth a visit for those looking for something other than the standard Santorini/Mykonos package deal.

We had a pleasant stay here for a week. The suite we had was very well done and easily large enough for two - it shared a pool with a neighbouring suite, but most of the time we had the pool to ourselves. The property itself is located on the top of a hill about 10 mins walk (albeit along a slightly dangerous road) from the nearest resort. It is beautifully done. Only downsides for us were that the service was slightly patchy - the couple who owned the place were lovely, but some of the other staff were a bit surly; and there was no menu for breakfast so we were basically left to guess what was available.

If you want a personal experience, then you HAVE to book this hotel! Maria and Yannis (owners) made us feel at home. Special breakfast, with recipes handed down from generations greeted us every morning (at no extra charge). Rooms were immaculate, well kept and excellently maintained. Wi-Fi made it easy to keep in touch with home, and nothing was refused. Maria even offered cooking classes and to take us to her familys garden/farm where we could pick fresh fruit. TIP: RENT A CAR for this island!!!! There are rental car agencies at the port when you get off the ferry. The hotel is a short drive from town (about 5 minutes) and close to all the popular beaches. The ONLY negative thing I can say about this hotel is we had a wobbly table at breakfast and had to put a sugar packet under one of the legs to keep it level. Yes....I had to go THAT far to find something negative. Awesome hotel, outstanding hotel owners, and a trip to Naxos without booking here would have been a loss for us. Thanks to Maria and Yannis (Im sure Ive spelled his name wrong), we even received a bottle of wine from Yannis small vineyard! I cannot say enough great things and after spending hours upon hours researching hotels in Naxos, take it from me this is THE best you will ever find!
