Seriously, the most amazing staff and the best location in Sorrento. Lisa, thank you so much for your hospitality and attention to detail. You made us feel at home and you made Sorrento a special place for us.
We spent 2 weeks in Capri for our honeymoon and added a few days in Sorrento to unwind before heading home. Lisa surprised us with Champagne, cookies and chocolate and a nice note on arrival. Our balcony overlooked the main plaza where we spent our evenings sipping wine and enjoying the live music from the various performers. Hotel staff helped us with our bags and transfers and worked with our skippers to make sure we had a seamless experience. So much more was on offer to us but we were completely spent from our time in Capri so we spent most of our time walking to local restaurants and cafes and buying souvenirs from all the nearby stores. Everything you need is right there. And if you score a room facing the main square, the people watching is endless.
We will be back for sure!

Lisa, the receptionist made our day with her welcoming attitude. The room is nice, spacious & clean! It was nice to see one of their family members made our breakfast. Will definitely stay there again & again! Next time, I will spend more time enjoying breakfast in the dining room & the terrace! Highly recommended

It was a beautiful, clean and ascetically pleasing room! Loved the cheeriness of the yellow and our private balcony was a huge bonus when we put the kids to bed and enjoyed a cocktail on our own. It was a perfect location on Sorrento to the train station and the center of town. It wasn’t loud at all and we had great night sleeps. The breakfast was plentiful and they made coffee to order! The breakfast patio was also beautiful. The front desk staff was amazing! They were so helpful with finding restaurants, organizing day trips for us and arranging transportation. It made our stay so seamless and relaxing!!

Our stay at Palazzo Jannuzzi was incredible and we recommend you stay here. Your expectations will be exceeded. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out we were extremely impressed by the quality and service of this hotel. The hotel overall is beautiful and clean and impressive. The room was big with multiple windows and large bathroom. The bed was comfortable and we were greeted with a bottle of champagne. The breakfast was amazing delicious with so many options. Liza checked us in and treated us like family. She asked us about dinner and helped us with recommendations and reservations. We can’t wait to return.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Jannuzzi Relais. The staff was very nice. Breakfast was good. We had a junior suite with a balcony overlooking the main town square. The location could not be better. It’s close to lots of shops and restaurants and not far from the train station. We were able to easily catch the Circumvesuviana to Pompeii for a tour and pull our bags for the short walk to the station to return to Naples. It is also only a 10-15 walk down to the port to take the ferry to Capri. The staff are genuinely nice people, the location is perfect, and the room was big and clean. I hope I get the opportunity to return to Sorrento and stay there again.

What a wonderfully located hotel. We wanted a central location to explore the area- trips to Capri, The Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and Vesuvius, this couldn’t have been a better location in the main square with access to the train station and the port. It isn’t a quiet location if that is what you are looking for.
Impeccably clean, small and personal, wonderful pastries at breakfast, a perfect choice.

I booked the junior suite room 26 on the top floor on December 23, and it is an an awkward and defective room. It is too-the-roof room with low ceilings and a weird half floor in the room. The sound insulation of the roof is non-existent and the skylights are not sound sealed. Because of the street party on 12.23, we could not sleep, so I asked for a different room at 12.45 am, and it was much quieter. At checkout I asked them to charge me for the standard room, and they said I paid thru Expedia, so there was nothing they could do. I just asked Expedia to call them and ask for same, and they lied and said both rooms were junior suites, so no discount needed. The suite had a kitchen and dining area and huge patio. The second was just a room.
The service was stuffy and mediocre. The decor is pretty dated.
The breakfast was just ok.
You can find better among the many Sorrento hotels.

The hotel was in the heart of the action of the city. Everything's in walking distance. The staff was great. The breakfast was excellent. The room was great. The outsourced parking was a good price and service was great. Wonderful experience. Will come back.

This was such a fantastic stay! I stayed here last week with my family, boyfriend, and brother's girlfriend, and everything was perfect. The staff were all so accommodating and kind. Every bedroom was different and unique and so adorable. The kitchen was one of my favorite spots, and it had a home-like vibe to it with stunning white tables and chairs and accents of yellows and blues. This is also located in the most fantastic part of Sorrento, and it is quiet and super safe!! I would make this the place I stay at every time I visit Sorrento because I know I will get fantastic service and a beautiful place to stay.

- they storage my luggage after check out to tour the city
- 5 min walk from train and bus stations, and 10 min walk to the ferry port
- city center prime location in the city, hotel located in palazzo and the start of their historic city center
- Rooms are clean, spacious and nice
- Friendly and helpful staff that speak English, staff available 24 hours at the hotel
- Lift/Elevator is available
- Free wifi and cable channels
Cons, but not dealbreakers:
- mattress is a bit hard ( wish hotel added gel mattress forms, easier on the back).
- Breakfast is very basic, but nice that the hotel still offers it to their guests
- Had a back room, and on certain days like holidays/weekends, music and noise can be heard very late at night from the restaurants near by, didn’t bother us much however, some pp might do, so bring your ear plugs if that’s the case.
Overall, it’s a great boutique hotel, but the prime location is a winner.

Up a side road next to the fauno bar. Lovely bright reception on 1at floor. Barbara was very helpful. There ia a lift for suitcases. They arranged valet parking for us which was great as they would bring your car whenever needed. Really bright and clean b&b. The room was beautiful and very large with a large balcony looking over a side road. Big bed, good aircon and wifi. Lovely big shower and bathroom.safe and mini bar also in room. They offer a good selection breakfst and will aend to your room for a small cover cost. They have a 24 hr reception so available if you needed anything. Fantastic central location with easy access to all the restaurants in Sorrento.

The Palazzo is a family owned hotel with a sensational breakfast and atmosphere. The breakfast is served in a dining room and one can enjoy it al fresco away from the crowds. A little noisy but there are quieter rooms if chosen. Worth it!

We loved everything about Jannuzzi. From the welcome we received from the front desk attendant to our lovely apartment-like room, to our private deck and charming breakfast terrace…we could not have been happier. The only challenge was finding the entrance to the hotel the first time and maneuvering the parking of the car. It was a small inconvenience compared to the wonderful experience we had here.

Perfect place to stay in Sorrento. Great room with a view. We could walk all over (shopping, beach, or just explore) and there were places to eat or grab a drink around every corner. We enjoyed our stay here! The luggage elevator and glass entrance door are pretty neat too.

I am very conflicted on how to rate the property. The hotel itself is lovely and in a great location. The service leading up to our stay was amazing - booked excursions and transfers for us really promptly. However when we arrived we were given a room where the air conditioning was clearly not working. The first woman told us there was no problem but when we complained again the second woman said they knew there was a problem but couldn’t get a technician. We asked for a new room and were told they could move us for only one night of our three night stay - doesn’t help. It was fixed on the second day and it was fine that night. Lying here in bed on the third night and it’s not working again - no use complaining as nothing can be done. Oh and our room is right beside the breakfast room so quite loud in the morning. As noted I think the property is great, breakfast is awesome, most staff are helpful but service fell a bit short given all the great reviews

The Hotel Januzzi Relais is a fun boutique hotel in the middle of Sorrento. It’s convenient to everything and the staff are really friendly and helpful. And the price is quite reasonable for what you get. We stayed in the junior suite which was quite spacious. A good spot!

Sometimes in life, someone goes so far beyond expectations that it literally changes a person's life. You and your family are that person. I am still incredibly overwhelmed by my recent visit to your hotel . I could not have imagined that my family and I would be met with such courtesy hospitality and kindness. Your attentiveness to me and my family provided us with one of our most memorable vacations and we appreciate you more than I can possibly express. One of your aunts, not only did she go out of her way to make our stay at the family owned hotel one of the best experiences of my life, but she also made restaurant reservations by calling owners of well known establishments to let them know of our arrival. Your aunt at the front desk, went above and beyond anything we could have even thought of asking for. She is just amazing .
Sorrento is a wondrous city . Palazzo Jannuzzi is a phenomenal hotel in a great location . I could not more highly recommend your hotel .

Palazzo Januzzi is an immaculate property and we had a wonderful stay. The location is safe and convenient if you are travelling with kids or teens. The breakfast was excellent. My only complaint is the noise from the piazza on Saturday night, which kept us up all night. Despite the noise, I will definitely return to this property and recommend it to others.

Excellent location. Lovely hotel with very comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast. They recommended a driver who brought us for a day trip to the Amalfi coast, and he was also top notch.

Great location on the main square, right in the middle of the action. No onsight parking, but they use a service to pick up and deliver your car whenever you want. Cool restaurant below the hotel. Open air, but covered from the elements. We had an after dinner drink every night before going up to the room. We had a few travel hickups while there. Staff were top notch in helping us with solutions. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely stay in the suites for five nights, as a destination jump off point for Capri, Almalfi Coast, Pompeii, etc. We did not have a car but manged on the public train and bus system quite well.
House made daily breakfast was really good!

The Jannuzzi family have put their heart and soul into this hotel and it shows. Each room is uniquely decorated and spacious. Our room overlooked the Piazza Tusso which was a joy to watch with the crazy Italian traffic but when you closed the door to the balcony, you didn't hear a thing. The staff, the breakfast, the rooms, the decor and the location are the best. If you're ever in Sorrento defiantly stay here.

Our room had a very large balcony overlooking the bustling city center. It was a great location and we loved being able to sit on the balcony. Also, the breakfast was lovely. The ambiance of the breakfast area was delightful. The staff at breakfast was very nice and made some of the best cappuccinos we had in all of Italy. We loved this hotel!!

We loved it here! The location is right in the heart of everything. The staff is friendly, the rooms are really spacious and clean, and the breakfast had a good selection. Overall there was great communication before and during the stay. The store that’s connected (I think it might have existed even before the hotel) also has really beautiful pieces if you are looking for something local to take home and they give a discount for staying at the hotel!

Palazzo Jannuzzi is located in centre plaza of Sorrento. It has a spectacular view and position. The property is very well maintained and very clean. Rooms are very spacious as well as the bathrooms and hallways. It has also elevator access. They offer a fantastic breakfast, in rustic style and almost everything is homemade.
Staff is very friendly and professional.
Definitely will come back and stay at this hotel.
