This is a perfect romantic getaway to relax and enjoy time together. The meticulous details of the decor, plant life, landscaping, pools, made us not want to ever leave. We wanted to become full time residents. The rooms have high ceilings creating an open airy comfort. Rooms had private balconies and patios that surrounded the pool. The bedding was comfortable and immaculately clean. This Italian owner created a hideaway for travelers to relax, enjoy and feel warmth, comfort, and the true essence of Costa Rica’s Pura Vida. The exotic foliage surrounds the pool and the pool tile and design replicates a Roman bath. The presentation at breakfast was at least 6 star Michelin rating. The attention to detail, the attentive, kind, cheerful, and accommodating staff, address all of your needs. There is even a library balcony for one to read and watch the sunset. The absolute relaxation one feels while staying in this hotel reminds us all to enjoy and appreciate others and enjoy the beauty of the environment and our surroundings. We will be back!

It was a great stay in a small hotel a little bit outside Samara, but within walking distance ro everything. Very friendly staff and very nice breakfast. The only bad thing was that the "gym" was not a gym, the two bikes that they had was not in good condition and the other thing was that there were chair everywhere around the pools, it looked like a trailer park. We are happy with our stay and the next time we will defenetly stay there.

I would highly recommend, the receptionist was wonderful and very communicative. I made a mistake during the booking online on expedia 2 people instead of 3 and he resolved the issue quickly and hustle free. The room was clean and secure. The pool and jacuzzi was very clean and welcoming. The hotel was exactly like the photos, the breakfast was a plus and definitely wished we stayed longer!

Great place a little further away from the town with very friendly staff. The small pool was beautiful and our family really enjoyed our stay!

Good, quiet and safe place to stay in.

We had a nice stay here. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool was great. The hotel was clean. It's a bit longer walk into town than some other places, but the benefit is that the neighborhood is much quieter. Our toddler was with us and he had a great time exploring the garden. The staff took great care of us!

The property is crowded with unneeded pots and plants and pack rat junk. Is Costa Rica... you're already in a tropical
Paradise so more potted plants . Some even plastic are not needed. Inside the hotel room every flat surface is covered with another plant, mine had a plastic bonsai tree. The walls had artificial bricks made of plastic foam, mirrors and lots of curtains. There was a desk in the room ( more like a picnic table) for a computer but no electrical outlets to plug it in. The internet was fine standing outside but inside the room it didn't work. The operators were very kind, the place was clean, but they need to understand the art of decor and learn a minimalist approach to decorating. Also it lists in the description as being .28 km from the beach. That's true if you're a crow.

The staff was very helpful and nice. Secure parking was available behind the hotel. Everything was neat and clean. The area was quiet. Breakfast was very good. The pool water needs some work, but I'm sure it is hard to keep it clear during the rainy season.

Very welcoming staff. Really cool place with a nice vibe. Walking distance from the city center and the beach along a picturesque road (although it takes a bit of time and there are no sidewalk). A couple of horses may roam freely along the path with you. The hotel is quiet. Comfortable rooms; very clean. The AC system works well; your room temperature can be adjusted easily. They include breakfast; the food is good, and you get to meet the personnel of the hotel.(Family vacations: 1 couple and 1 child 13 y/o)

It's a really pretty little hotel. Not a far walk from downtown or from the beach.

Excellent service from all staff. Room was fairly spacious but the bed was a bit hard for my comfort. Others may enjoy that style. Wifi signal was good. But the lack of hot water was a problem for us. Close enough walk all over town and to the beach, what a wonderful beach.

This hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the beach and 10 from the town....perfect as the town is crunchy had louder. The Italian restaurant associated with the hotel is exceptional, authentic and the owners are so nice...they also serve the morning breakfast. Not a lot to do in town, but a beUtiful beach and remote type area. Hotel was nicely decorated, great pool, quiet and delighUl.

great stay in this cute and wonderful hotel. The grounds are relatively small but there is a very nice pool and rooms are spacious. The only reservations about our stay were the lack of soft bedding and some insects in the room but in a beautiful setting like this, they were relatively minor drawbacks. The staff was very pleasant and professional

Hotel Samara Inn is a nice budget hotel about a 10-minute walk from downtown Samara. You can also walk to the more secluded part of the beach in under 10 minutes. The rooms are clean and pretty spacious with high ceilings, strong wifi and AC. The bed was comfortable but had a weird plastic mattress protector under the bottom sheet (I suppose it is for sanitary reasons but it made a annoying rustling sound). Other than that, everything else was great: beautiful small pool with a gorgeous wall of bougainvillea, location is relatively quiet, decent breakfast and friendly staff. Would stay here again.

Nice hotel totally aligned with the rusticity and unpretentious natural beauty of Samara. The Bougainville wall surrounding the natural stone cozy pool granted a picture album. Great Tipico breakfast and friendly staff. Clean. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

We thought this hotel would be quiet because it is about 1 km from town, but we could not have been more wrong. The hotel is located on a straight stretch of road with no speed bumps and the locals race back and forth at high speeds on their noisy ATVs, motorcycles and vehicles. Even though our room was located in the quietest part of the hotel at the back, the noise was still bothersome. If you don`t have a vehicle you will have to walk for about 1 km on this dangerous road to get to town or the beach. The hotel is tidy and clean, but there are some tacky features like plastic-lined bottom sheets on the beds and only 5, cheap, plastic chairs at the tiny pool instead of lounges or recliners. The breakfasts are basic fare and they are a specified quantity. If you are a hearty eater and want more, you have to pay. The hotel is located in a Costa Rican neighborhood, so be prepared to put up with barking dogs and crowing roosters.

Pool was not useable and gross and no apology for it. Rooms are small and unispired but clean.

Our stay was ok. This hotel does not offer a lot of amenities, no toiletries, small rooms and small pool, BUT it is fairly inexpensive and within 10 min walk to the beach (15-20 min walk to town center). The hotel is clean, descent and simple. Breakfast is good, fair portion and best of all- included in your stay!

Three kinds of breakfast and you finished your meal satisfied. The only thing that we did not like was when asked the housekeeper to change the sheets. She said that we had to stay at least three days to have them changed. We also changed the blanket but that was never returned to us.

At first I wished the hotel was closer in town but it was really a nice and short walk. I loved the breakfast and the breakfast room. There is a great little bakery and a market right around the corner. I enjoyed our stay throughly.

This hotel was a little bit down the road from Samara but an easy walk to the town. The breakfast is outstanding and there is a nice pool and great views. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Hotel was within walking distance to the beach and shopping. Very clean and great service. Breakfest was perfect and free. We loved it and for the price you can't go wrong. We left the hotel to goto another called ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; and we could have killed ourselves.......BIG mistake!!!!! Mirador hotel should be punished for false advertisement ....... what a DUMP!!!! I rather sleep in jail.

This is an excellent hotel about 10-15 minutes walk (depending on how many times you stop to look at birds) from the center of Samara. Because it is outside of the center, it avoids the steady beat of the disco bars. The hotel is very well run, clean, secure and has a very nice atmosphere. The only down side is that it is along the main road heading west and traffic noise is noticeable at times (not in the room but at the pool and dining area). The breakfast included is large enough to keep you going till later in the afternoon (especially if you order the Costa Rican Tipica). We stayed 8 days.

Located at the far north end of the Samara beach. It is about 1/2 KM from the water. No views from room to speak of. It is another 1KM or so to the main city center. Breakfast was included and was fine. Staff helpful. Good Security. Pool is very small.

Staff was exceptional! Very accommodating and engaging. Their English was far better than our Spanish and although we may have had slight communication issues any concerns or questions that we may have had were quickly attended to. A generous and delicious dinner and a good complimentary breakfast with 4 different choices. Nice pool with a large communal balcony offering an ocean view

The hotel was farther out of town than we expected. Many people walked to town, but I was happy we had a car.
The main window/opening to the out side faced to walk way so everyone passing could see right into your room. The only way to have privacy was to close the curtains, but then you were is a closed room with one tiny window to the outside. I prefer more privacy yet being in contact with the outside/nature.
The room was clean, new, in good condition. Staff was friendly. Complimentary breakfast was good and had nice options considering it was free.

Especially with the Expedia discount this was a great value. The staff was amazingly helpful and accommodating. They helped us figure out complicated travel plans and made sure we had breakfast for an early departure. The pool is small but nice and well maintained.
