Older hotel. No elevator very small room

Conveniently placed at the bus station from Athens. The staff were nice. Clean room with view of the Monemvasia itself. Quiet room despite having a bar on the ground floor. Very good value for the price.

Very basic but it seemed clean. Saw a few ants on my bed but slept fine and didn’t have any insect bites when I woke up.
It’s walkable to the main part of Monemvasia across the bridge and they have parking.
Old style keys. Not bad just haven’t seen those in long time. For the price I would recommend

The hotel is just at the end of causeway, with a wonderful view of sea and the Rock. The reception is very friendly and helpful, providing us the map and info of Monemvasia. Room is spacious, but the bathroom is small.

This hotel has the best view of "The Rock" in the entire area. It not only has a lovely little taverna out back but a lot of the locals hang out in the front--a perfect mix of tourists and townsfolk that you don't often get while traveling. Also an easy walk to Monemvasia.

Location is excellent. Very good service. The room was too cold on the first night

Excellent location for price. Right next to the bus stop and the bridge to cross into Monamvasia. Great Balcony view. Friendly staff.

It's really well-located, just beside the bus station and 20 minutes walk to the old city. Very clean, very confortable!

Excellent location for visiting Monemvasia castle-city and travelling to near by beaches and other towns. The hotel is basic but clean..
The restaurant joined to the hotel had great Greek cuisine specialties!excellent service and is located by the harbour..

Monemvasia was beautiful, Hotel Aktaion was in a perfect location! Lots of parking out back. Right next to the water, we could see the peninsula from our balcony. There are great breakfast restaurants just downstairs and everything is completely walkable. For the price the hotel is fantastic, completely serviceable room. The bed was a little hard but that just seems to be the norm everywhere we've stayed in Greece. 10/10 would stay here again.

Very close to all places we wanted to visit. Hotel has a very good restaurant wirh a view on small port. Closeby a small supermarket.

This hotel is a very good value. It's clean and comfortable, and the staff is very nice. I had a balcony that overlooks the harbor, with a view of the mountain. It's very central, being right near the causeway to Monemvasia. You can't go wrong here.

Very friendly and attentive staff. The owner and staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. We arrived late New Year’s Eve and everything was closed. We asked to used their kitchen to cook some food. The owners son not only cooked it for us, he even brought it up to our room with plates and silverware. Hotel is also conveniently located.

WIFI in room only worked some of the time; worked fine in hotel lobby.

We enjoyed our stay here except i didn’t realize it was a smoking hotel. The room had good insulation around the door, but still a detectable door. Great view from the window and easy parking right outside in the parking lot!

Staff is very friendly and honest. The hotel is perfectly located walking to the castro and upper town. Room is ok for our purpose of a two days stay in the town. Highly reccomended!

Beautiful little village, wonderful little harbour, crystal clear water, local fishing boats bobbing in the water directly in front of the hotel, very friendly helpful staff, good food, great Greek coffee, good place to explore tip of the Mani peninsula. We came for 1 night, and stayed 3. This was best part of our exploration of the Peloponnese. Only need half an excuse to return.

Тhe rooms are small but clean with view to port.Еntrance is through the bar and tavern, which was not very well. The hotel is in a great location and has big parking.

Our family room had a view on the sea and the rock of Monemvassia. Although the hotel is at the bridgehead to the old city, the room was silent (in off season I have to add). The room was furnished appealingly, the bath is not too spacious.
5 of us could fit, but the room is optimal for 4 persons.

Really for a one star hotel this was a lovely stay with great view and very nice staff which really accommodated our late arrival on the ferry boat .. Great place I would recommend it.
