Elevators had issues. Waited over 15 minutes for one.

Average. Booked online and was given a handicap room and we are not handicapped. Room showed a view of outside and it was the back alley way. Staff was not as friendly as anticipated. Breakfast was good.

The 20 something year old girl working at reception is very unprofessional, rude and lazy. I arrived at 3 to check in and she starts off by giving me attitude telling me my room wasn’t ready and to sit down. I asked to speak to someone else as she was being very disrespectful and incompetent and the manager came and right away he said my room is ready. She seems unhappy with her job so she takes it out on the guests. Hire someone else who actually knows how to work in the hospitality industry! Room was average, elevator is slow, location good.

Reception staff blunt and unfriendly.
Breakfast is included but limited, items which should be warm were bordering cold and food choices were cheap quality.
Room is tired, mattress old and worn, sofa bed dirty, marks everywhere, didnt feel overly clean.
Location was good and prices were extremely high (as they are across NY)

Great hotel and location. Appreciated them holding our luggage prior to check in and after check out. Go to the 26th floor for a fantastic view of the Empire State Building

The hotel is in a great location, i think they should be more clear about the room and size. We reserved the room for 6ppl and the room was tiny.

Overall a great stay for this type of hotel. Water and tea station in the lobby was a welcome amenity. Breakfast was good enough. Rooms are a little dated but still in good enough shape. The bed wasn't comfortable but good enough if you're not staying too long. There were some weird stains on the carpet and sofa but the rest of the room was clean enough. Definitely recommended if you get it for a good price.

Great time and location.

Perfect small room with a comfortable king size bed for my husband and I. Easy access to the train, Madison Square Garden and plenty places to drink, dine and shop. Also close to all the sights to see in NYC.

A very busy property but it's in a great location, the rooms are nice and a good size, and the complimentary hot breakfast buffet is a perfect start to the day.

Even though they advertise having a cocktail lounge, the entire time we were there, there was no bartender available, and no one on staff could provide a cocktail of any kind. They had no knowledge of the area or how to get around in the city. Never found restaurant. Staff said breakfast only even though they have posters advertising their restaurant.

Booked place for 4 nights. Everything was good except the 4th night we stayed, the room was not cleaned when we came back and bookkeeper showed up around 5pm.

Nice, clean, good area with good placement in the center of the city. Small rooms, but larger than others that we’ve stayed in. We had 5 people and it was a little tight. However, that’s NYC!!! And we hardly spent anytime in the room except to sleep. Beds were comfortable.

Clean hotel, with good breakfast included, in a perfect location, close to metro stops and Penn station, and with the gem of providing free, excellent, filtered water to its guests! Absolutely recommended!

Excellent location for transport and visiting. The bedroom was really quiet despite being in the middle of busy midtown. There are always tea and free filtered water downstairs at reception. The rooftop is spectacular and has table to sit.
On the minus the wardrobe to hang clothes was very small especially if there 4 people in the room. The breakfast is filling but sometimes it is impossible to sit and queue and it stops early in the week.

Really good location to discover New York by feet or with the underground

The street noise was all night around. It was very difficult to rest up the body.
The only time that we ordered a pizza from the kitchen, it arrived halfway cooked. Besides, it was a little bit pricey.

We stayed 5 days. It was our first visit to NYC, hotel was very clean, quiet once you were inside (area outside busy) of course we liked the busyness, walkable to what we were there for and we felt pretty safe(didn’t stay out past 11) so can’t say much past that time. The staff were very friendly and I would happily stay here again if we come back.

Hotel area was central to everything! They weren't kidding about the breakfast lines, but breakfast was good and great to have. Hotel room was nice. Staff was great. They were able to hold our luggage after we checked out so we could explore more before our flight.

Hotel is at the center of all attractions and sorrounded by restaurants. Nice and clean place to stay. House keeping is always around if you need them. Will surely recommend.

The location is very convenient, making it a great choice for tourists. There is also a breakfast buffet, which didn't have much variety, but overall it was good. I recommend it.

I was very happy with our 4 night stay at this hotel in Manhattan. Check in and out were seamless and breakfast had a good variety of food and beverages. We stayed on the 25th floor where the views were very nice. The area was convenient for shopping, eating, and getting in the subway. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent room situated at 23rd floor with view on Empire state building. Breakfast included, quite good and with variety of choices, but the breakfast room is too little compared to the number of guests and you have to wait in long lines to take your meal with the risk of waiting standing until you find a table where to sit. The price I paid was good but I reserved 3 months before and with an offer found on a third party site. Position is really fantastic 5 minutes walk from time square in a secure zone of the city. Parking is quite impossible, but NYC is to be visited moving by public transportation. The only thing I was really displaced was the fact that the Hotel blocked me 2 transaction for my stay of the total amount (one only as pre-payment), having difficulties since I reached the monthly limit of my credit card.

Upon arrival I was told they were unable to find my reservation. I provided the Expedia itinerary email. I was told to take a seat in the lobby and wait 10 minutes. When I was finally given the keys to my room I noticed the cleaning cart right by my door. I believe they were unprepared for my arrival and needed to quickly clean the room.
