We liked everything. Costa Del Sol its the best option to stay in Cajamarca. The staff are very polite and helpful. The breakfast bufette its the best.

We arrived early to Cajamarca and requested an early check in prior to arrival. The phone number to call on the website or through Wyndham were not in service. Fortunately I was able to contact the hotel via email. The early check in cost 50% of the stay. It was definitely needed to relax. Overall great service from staff, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was included with our stay which offered variety everyday, 2 free complimentary drinks in the lounge. There is also a fridge in the room with drinks inside that is an additional cost if consumed. I do recommend taking a picture of what is provided. Upon check out they tried to charge us for 2 drinks, which were never consumed. I did sign the bill stating that I didn’t not consume the drinks. Hopefully I don’t see a charge to my card or else I will provide another review. The location was great, across the street you will find various tour agencies you can consult, the plaza was well maintained and safe to walk around day or night.

The hotel is very nice, and the staff were very attentive. We enjoyed breakfast buffet and also cocktails and appetizers in the bar. The staff make this an excellent hotel. The only problem was renovation on our floor. They were spray painting a room on our floor. The smell in the hall and our room was very bad.

Location couldn't be better. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant has a great menu of local cuisine as well as more standard offerings. A great stay and would book again without hesitation.

They are not very helpful if your flight is cancelled because of bad weather. Restrictions to change dates are unreasonable. Invoicing took more than 2 days which is odd.
Looking for other options in Cajamarca in the future.

I loved how central this location is to get around. I loved the bar and the bartenders were the best, so friendly and attentive. I didn’t like housekeeping. They didn’t clean my room upon request. The gym was old and the equipment didn’t work. The swimming pool location was weird where I didn’t feel relax as many people and staff were passing through. One day it was 10 minutes for the breakfast to close and I requested a cup of coffee and they couldn’t offer that. As I said before if it wasn’t for the excellent service of all the bartenders I would have a horrible experience but I would come back because of them.

My expectations were quite high because I have stayed at other Wyndham Costs del Sol hotels in Peru. My stay at this Wyndham costa del sol did not live up to my expectations basically because of the personnel at the reception. The hotel has a great location and good facilities though it is a bit outdated. When checking in I did not get the usual vip access as good member, but ok. The checkout was horrible though. A group of about 20 persons just arrived at 11am when I wanted to checkout. Good management would first let people check out as check in is only after 2pm. Instead I had to wait and when I finally was attended they needed to check the room and they told me to wait. I was basically ignored until I asked again for checkout and that I was waiting for more than 15 minutes. Then they told me to go. When I said I was not amused with the service at checkout the lady gave me an angry face and turned around. All in all I did not get a nice feeling when leaving the hotel.

t this present time they are remodeling , looks very empty I loved the beauty salon and the jewelry store that use to be there they need more life inside
I started visiting for my charity work since 2007 I recognized only two person Ricardo an excellent employee, polite .attentive sweet and professional gentlemen and Luis that unfortunately I was unable to see him this time , but I know that he still working.
The cafeteria there are many nice people but they need to have more food variation more nice salads something fresh and light but good chicken salad , chef’s salad ,salmon etc more orientation to foreign guest and healthy less carbohydrates.

The shower shampoo/soap dispenser was low in quantity.
Cajamarca has a lot of greenery. The people are beautiful and friendly. I regret not trying the Inca bath and the naturally heated swimming pool.

The hotel is amazing!!! The only thing I can say it was “complicated” was the moment to take a shower. For some people with hips or articulation problem to get into the shower tub could be a little difficult because the high of the tub. There is not where to hold for help.

The staff from being greeted by the door to the check in process and even waiters at the breakfast buffet were all INCREDIBLE. They were so helpful and attentive and our room was very clean. Kudos to the entire staff at Costa Del Sol Cajamarca. I would highly recommend and stay again!
