Absolutely amazing experience staying at Glencoe House. Staff was amazing & the accommodations were incredible! We had dinner and breakfast in our enormous room (suite 5) and couldn’t have imagined a better experience! Every room was gorgeous. Loved the surrounding area with the various trails around the lake. Sitting in the backyard overlooking the harbor was so peaceful. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thanks Glencoe House for making our stay so incredible!!! Hope we’re fortunate enough to return

A perfect stay. We didn't want to leave! From start to finish, we loved our stay at Glencoe House. The service was perfection, the suite was perfection, the food was perfection - we could not have been more pleased. If you're wondering if you should book a stay - you should. We want to come back immediately!

Beyond our expectations. Beautiful suite, superb food and all set within one of the best landscape in the world. Perfect and so excited to go back

Great stay, great location, loved the room facilities. Private dining and hot tub. Shame about not being able to use the room log fire due to insurance restrictions. (Room was plenty warm though). Staff look after you well:)

Excellent service, attentive staff and stunning views. We stayed in suite 5 and the dual baths were by far the highlight. The in room bar is also incredibly reasonable, prices are not much more than you’d pay in a shop. The in-room dining was also a real treat. Would highly recommend!

So we stayed in suite 2 which was wonderfully spacious. The turn down service was not in operation due to covid and the maxi bar was not in full operation either.
Staff were friendly and courteous and the surroundings were fantastic. Some areas of the suite looked a little tired and could have been freshened up with paint etc but this is an old building.
In room dining was an experience and even the chef popped up to check if the food was ok - nice touch.

We stayed in suite 2 and I’m so glad I chose that suite. The room had direct access from the parking area so no need to walk through the main communal areas of the building to enter. The views were stunning from the sitting room and from the hot tub. Meals were delicious and the staff were so courteous and thoughtful. As we stayed two nights, the chef came in to speak to us about dinner the second night and we managed to snag the last piece of venison. The room, hot tub, and giant bathtub were so lovely, it was difficult to force ourselves to leave the grounds and explore Glencoe.

Can’t wait to go back

We stayed in Suite 7 which was the whole of the top floor. There was loads of space for the family to spread out, relax and enjoy. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed the size off the suite & the freedom that it gives you & the in room dinning option is very nice. The beds were very comfy & the shower was a dream. Will definitely be back

My partner and I went for a night, both had a fantastic experience. From first minute we arrived we were welcomed in and looked after, I would like to thank James for telling us the history behind the castle and the story behind it. In this property everything has been thought off very comfortable and relaxing. Dinner was amazing and well worth trying! great service and relaxing romantic dinner beside the well stoked fire will definitely be going back. Jamie + Rachel

We loved everything about the property except the lack of bar and restaurant. Basically, one is sequestered to the room or has to leave the property.

Beautiful spot, beautiful house, great staff. We felt transported to a better way of living. Very special.

When we booked the hotel, it indicated would be in the castle; but, when we got there it was nothing like it was advertised. It was like a cheap built mix and match single annex house with 1 bedroom upstair, and the bathroom down stair near the kitchen. Food and drinks in the room are for charge. We asked them why we stay there instead of inside the castle, and the feedback we got from them, was that because we did not book through them, so we have to stay where it consider Bell tower room. Well as far as we can see there is no tower above or under us. we fell that we got cheated out of this reservation and the price should be $250 a night due to low season. all the food and drinks in the room are for charge. It looks like they are skimming on nickel and dime.

We booked this room at the VERY last minute while on our honeymoon. It was the best experience I have ever had at a hotel. It was so beautiful, the staff was amazing, and the food was delicious. The view from suite 6 is to die for. We can't wait to visit again. Thank you all so much!!!!!

Everything you'd except from a 5-star hotel, plus the staff were absolutely fantastic. If we return to Scotland, we may return to the immediate area just to stay at Glencoe House again.

Adored this place. Rain, hail or shine you can't help but feel that you have made the best decision to stay here.
We were warmly welcomed immediately. The suites are just beautiful with everything you could ever want.
A short drive into town, lovely, sweeping views of the countryside and sea. An almost private loch is a short walk away and it's so beautiful to wander around it - let Connor, the resident pooch, take you for a walk - he's the guide and does a marvellous job at leading the way!
Felt at home and so wished we stayed there longer - it would be wonderful to use this as a base to wander the gorgeous scenery in and around Glencoe.

Highly recommend this hotel. The hotel sits in the grounds of a Victorian House, with a sophisticated entrance and large bedrooms suites.

After a few "misses" during our Scotland tour, we decided to check in a day early and spend two nights here rather than the planned one night. BEST decision we made and best two days of our 11 day trip. Roger and his staff have thought of every little detail. The house itself is spectacular, and having stayed at many first class resorts, we have never been in a nicer suite. The surrounding area offers scenery and activities that we enjoyed far more than our time on Skye. We will be back, but for more than just two nights!

An amazing stay, an amazing property. We have never felt so pampered. The staff is exceptional and attention is paid to every detail. Our room was stunning. We were so comfortable and so happy with every part of our stay. And being greeted upon our arrival with Champaign was very cool indeed. We'll go back.
A five-star rating isn't enough. This isn't just a stay, this is an experience! As is all of Glencoe!

Absolutely gorgeous place, with an absolutely great and friendly staff. Unparalleled atmosphere.
