Amazing property. Quietest room ever. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy walk to beach. But best to rent a car and explore. The restaurant is excellent; superb breakfast and dinner, and other options for dinner nearby. Best location in quiet, authentic fishing village that is not touristy. We adored French Coco!

Really cool property. Loved the pool and patio!

The best hotel in the area and food in the restaurant was great.
Breakfast - well you need to pre-order which is a pain. I get the point about waste BUT when the bread is frozen / pre-baked packaged bread, the crossaints and pain au raisin etc also frozen and you have to wait 15 mins, clearly it is cooked from frozen to order.
It is crazy when there is a bakery literally at the end of tbe road that there is no fresh bread or pastrys.
No comparison to Leading Hotels of the World - not sure how the status was acquired.
No real bar area to relax in the evening which would make the hotel more appealing.
No restaurant food available after 20h30. You can have a plate of meat and cheese in your room (as no bar area) but you have to pay an extra €15 for it in the room.

This is an amazing little hotel. The service is impeccable. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The food was very good with beautiful presentation. The only negative point if you’re looking to enjoy the beach is the location. The property is a bit far from the nicest beaches in the south of Martinique.

Had a great time with my partner celebrating my 40th birthday. The hotel is beautiful set in a lush garden just a short walk to the beach. But you have your own pool on top of the hotels pool. The breakfast is made to order and everything is delicious. The staff is very professional, helpful and friendly. They also have a great restaurant which was closed on my b'day but we enjoyed it the other day. The property is eco-friendly and looking very much into sustainability. Thanks for having us. Wish to be back one day.

We enjoyed our spacious apartment, with its private mini-pool for cooling off. There is also a swimming pool. The staff were top notch, very friendly and welcoming. The gardens, with their exotic trees and shrubs were amazing. There is a beautiful sandy beach 150 meters walk from there. The hotel has a private, gated parking lot. There are many inexpensive open-air restaurants nearby, but they were crowded at high season. Our hotel has a restaurant but it is very expensive. The delicious cooked breakfasts included in our hotel rate consisted of fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs cooked to order, breads, pastries, coffee/tea, etc. I would rate this hotel at 5 star.

Very clean and courteous staff. Room was excellent w/ private patio in back.

We liked everything. The property is unique--built into a hill and beautifully designed. The artwork is exquisite.
Our room had a private pool and private patio.

French Coco is nestled in lush gardens within a few minute walk from a pretty little beach. Staff is excellent - friendly, attentive and welcoming. We were upgraded to the larger villa. Layout was smart with lots of windows allowing the Caribbean sunshine to flood in, while providing nice breezes on the covered large veranda - perfect for a morning coffee or evening drink. The splash pool was a perfect way to cool off after a hike in the nearby mangrove park, or a long day at one of the many beautiful beaches. Food on property is Creole and Continental, well prepared and presented and delicious.

Great hotel, the only drawback is the hotel restaurant which tries to serve ”fine dining” food but unfortunately the food is mediocor. Can thouroughly recommend eating at the nearby restaurant Coco Beach café instead.

We stayed in the wonderful clean room. Bed was very comfortable. Every detail seems to be thought of.
Plunge pool on the private terrace was definitely a huge bonus. Fresh and delicious breakfast was always served with a smile. Concierge team is one of the best I've ever encountered. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Perfectly manicured property in the quite location on the east side of the island. Can not wait to go back next year.

A lovely two day stay. This hotel is very expensive but in a beautiful setting with comfortable rooms and patio areas ( most with own plunge pool). The staff are very friendly and anxious to make sure everything is good for you. The only thing letting it down was a bit of disorganisation at breakfast. You have to pre order with the idea it is all smooth and easy in the morning. Unfortunately on both breakfasts there were errors and delays. We were not too bothered by this but for a hotel charging this much I think there should be more efficiency.

Beautiful place to stay, the breakfast is awesome and the staff are over the top helpful. I would recommend this place to stay. The private pool and main pool are really cold, only downfall I found.

French Coco was the most welcoming and stunning hotel. They aced every part of the process, and I couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Everything is done very thoughtfully and with care. Each staff member was incredibly accommodating and lovely.

Hotel French Coco was fabulous. We stayed in a room with a small "yard", very private and very clean room. Everyone that worked there was wonderful, attentive, friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

French Coco is a lovely boutique hotel in the middle of lush, tropical surroundings. It is in the northeast of the island and close to the natural reserve of Caravelle which is about a 10 minute drive. A hike at the reserve is a must! The staff and service was excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Never swam in the pool, though it looked nice, as we were out and about the whole time. My only main recommendation is to rent a car as it is necessary to be able to really see the island.

This is a wonderful place to stay when in Martinique. The staff are so attentive and the areas is extremely unspoilit: Do check out the beaches further down the peninsula / surfer cafes and bars to really understand what this part of the island is all about. Would definitely stay at this hotel again!!

Location was perfect for getting to the park, picturesque beaches historic sites, long vistas of the coast line. Close walk to the local beach. Robert personally makes sure his guests are happy and comfortable with everything. Amazing staff. Food was great. A close Bakery in town was good for picking up sandwiches to take on day trips. Good beds and cool rooms. Truly felt more rested and happy for visiting this hotel and it’s beautiful little garden that surrounds everything. A special place.

Spent one night at French Coco - wish it had been longer. We'll definitely be back, and for longer next time we visit Martinique. The hotel and gardens are lovely, shared pool is great and was always quiet during our stay, room was fantastic (plunge pool was a very nice treat for a special occasion), staff were discreet yet attentive and friendly. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant - both very nicely done.

The service at this hotel was outstanding from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming and we were able to check into our room early. They showed us everything in the room and gave a full explanation of not only the things in the room but also the plants in the garden outside. The room itself was lovely. The only thing which could have been added was conditioner in the toiletries. The private pool area was very relaxing and peaceful and the pool ideal for a dip in the heat. We were able to order the breakfast to our room and, although there was a small discrepancy between what we ordered and what arrived, the food was tasty and plentiful. We didn’t eat in the hotel restaurant so I can’t comment about that. The bed was comfy and the room had both air conditioning and a fan to keep it cool. We were able to check out late at no extra charge as the hotel was not full. You really need a car to stay at this hotel as, whilst there is a small area of restaurants not too far away, there is nothing really within close walking distance.

We reveived a very warm welcome...and a bottle of chanpagne... to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary! All the staff were attentive and friendly in this beautifully designed boutique hotel, surrounded by lush, tropical gardens. We stayed in a luxurious, spacious, cabin -style suite, with private, wooden terrace and plunge pool. The local, palm- fringed, sandy beach of Tartane was just a few minutes walk away along a path through the sugar cane and other paths led up to the promontories, woods and beaches of the Caravelle Peninsula.
The pleasant, French Coco restaurant looks out over the pool and gorgeous gardens. The food was delicious, if a bit pricey for a long stay, However, there are good local cafes, restaurants and snack shops nearby, too.

I celebrated my 65th birthday at the French Coco. While we found the need to fill out a breakfast form, which needed to be dropped off at the front desk no later than 9 pm the night before, bizarre, the food was very good and beautifully presented. Our room with its private pool was nestled in their beautiful tropical garden, and a short distance from both the parking lot & beach.

Beautiful property and lovely island...low key vibe. Loved the personalized service at Hotel French Coco, from each and every person we met. Food delicious, rooms beautiful and perfectly clean. Everything was top notch. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back! Thank you everyone at French Coco we had a wonderful stay!!

Beautiful setting, even without a view of the water. The gardens and room placements made you feel like you were the only one there. Staff are all superb - made us feel so welcomed.
4.7
Great stay, beautiful resort and landscaping. We enjoyed the spacious room and private garden and plunge pool, and the birds that would stop by. The restaurant food was spectacular. The one day we went to the local beach there was a lot of seaweed in the water and on the beach...we were glad we had a rental car to visit other beaches on the island. Very attentive staff, when we had a couple monor issues with the lock and the WiFi,they were immediately resolved.

The staff and owner at French Coco are very wecoming. Wonderful breakfasts and dinners.
We loved the beaches and hiking in the area.
