The service was awesome. The restaurant was fantastic. All of our meals were excellent in a rich peruvian style.

Love the location. Didn’t like the furniture of the room was old and broken. No drinking water in the room. The hotel needs mayor maintenance

The staff was amazing. Friendly, nice, engaging and gave us great recommendations. The beach is beautiful, water is warm and hardly any currents. Our room was big, comfortable and couldn’t be any closer to the beach. Just an awesome overall experience.

Loved falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean. Bungalow that we stayed in was very private.

Great resort about 15-20 minutes drive from Manorca. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Location backs on to the beach so good options of swimming in the beach or in the resort pool.
Nice homely touches conducive to relaxation such as individual hammocks for each bungalow.
Downsides are somewhat spotty internet and lack of in room coffee making facilities.

Awesome placee loved the tents.

Tents were better than expected, enjoyed the sound of the ocean at night. The food was good. The sea kayak was awesome to try. They helped us get a trip to Los Organos with Pacific Adventures to see humpback whales and more! The road is bumpy and 15 minutes from Máncora.

Amazing!

I just had a little problem at the check-in, the receptionist told me that I had to pay the room for the night that my fiancée and I were going to spend, even though I had already booked the room by paying it in total. However, I showed him the email with the booking payed fully, as a result we did not have anymore inconvenience.

Always wanted to sleep under the stars in comfort. Spent our 25th anniversary in a tent (on the beach) with a full washroom, wi-fi, TV, fridge, A/C & heater. Who knew? Daily planned activities too. Staff were excellent.

Great hotel, friendly staff, front desk people speak good English. The road between Mancora and Vichayito was in a very poor condition due to the rain. Budget extra time for the way to the airport.

Plus:
Nice spacious and clean rooms
Pretty new
Minuses:
We weren't really expecting to be in a tent with no air conditioning but despite the heat it is pretty windy and cool at night
The road to get from the highway or from Mancora to the hotel is terrible

Great and awful surprise I got when, after checking in, a golf cart drove me to ...A TENT!
No privacy.
No air conditioning.
Struggling every time just to open and close the tent.
Even though I was front beach, the tent only had two little 1 square foot windows, which only view was the tent next door.
I do have some pictures to share, but I just can't find a place to do it in this electronic form.
And according to Expedia ratings, this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. No way!
After I complained, the hotel manager moved me to a bungalow, ....but only after the first night.
Service at the Kitchen was really slow, the average time was about 30 minutes, even when the restaurant was almost empty, and even if you ordered a "cebiche" which you really don't have to cook at all.

The carpa suite was wonderful. Lots of space. The air condition was great during the day. We did not need it at night. Peaceful nights listening to the sound of the waves. Great pool. The receptionist Patricia was very good. Great time!!!

We were supposed to stay 3 nights but left after 2 as there were screaming children through the night in the Bungalow next door - not the facilities fault. Rooms are charming. lighting low at night. Good food, and helpful staff

Overall had a good experience, but many things could be improved.

We were in the carpa matrimonial suite, which is a tent that is built out into three room luxury apartment. You are about 20 meters from waters edge at high tide with fantastic white sand and powerful surf.
The staff are fantastic and they have a handful of English speakers. On the beach there are padded beach chairs and tiki umbrellas, enough for everyone. You can use kayaks and paddleboards at no extra cost. There is a nice restaurant near the pool and a full service bar on the beach. The pool and hot tub are nice but not very large, but we mostly stayed on the beach anyways.
The room was well furnished and had polished concrete floors that were scrubbed daily, air conditioning, full shower and standalone bathtub. The toilet has a stall so you have privacy plus each "room" has zippered partition. In front you get a hammock, beach chair and small table with chairs so you can enjoy the view of the beach and sunset.
My only criticisms are that WiFi is only near the lobby and there was no shower near the beach to rinse sand before going into the carpa. It is also a good 25min mototaxi ride away from downtown Mancora. We ended up going into town only once to buy water and alcohol. Minor issues considering that they thought of everything else.
Oh and definitely recommend the on site spa for a massage or skin treatment. Great value compared to the same services in US or elsewhere and it was the cherry on top after an extremely relaxing three night stay
