Only 1 night stay during road trip. This property is older and needs a refresh but was very quiet and room was clean! Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices. Staff was friendly! I’d probably stay here again

We’ve been staying at The Oaks when visiting Paso Robles for over 10 years. It’s under new ownership and it seems as though the overall maintenance and upkeep are behind what it once was. The front desk area is not inviting, it appears messy and stacked with things that should be stored elsewhere, including a big printer. The furniture in the room was warn and scraped up. It just needs a bit of an update. However, It’s still a comfortable place to stay and has a wonderful breakfast.

Overall it is a nice hotel. It needs a very deep cleaning. Fix the hot tub, so many people were disappointed that it was broken. The staff were fantastic. The people serving breakfast did a great job of keeping everything fresh and full. The location is a little hard to find and get on the city about cleaning up the surrounding area.

This was our second stay at this hotel. We attend concerts at Vina Robles Amphitheatre and this is a clean, convenient place to stay.

The air conditioner was defective and my husband was unable to sleep. The clerk stated my credit card could not be billed. They used my husbands card. I have now discovered you billed my card. I shave been double billed.

The manager Sharon was so helpful and friendly. When we told her our van has problem and she took us to the auto shop across the street and tell the owner take good care of us. She really went out of her way to help us. I really appreciate her. The hotel is clean and we enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi. And the free breakfast was also very good. Will definitely come back again.

Met some friends here to explore the area and do a little wine tasting. The hotel was fairly comfortable and did have a pool and hot tub. The area is close to downtown but the surrounding area is a little bit commercial. However, we did feel safe and it was a good cost for the convenience. Love Paso Robles!

Hotel was overall comfortable, check in and out were quick, parking abundant. The location is a bit out of the way and near the freeway, so you need to drive to dinner and you can hear a bit of the Highway noise. The room looked a bit tired -scratched furniture, yellowed caulking- but it was overall large and pretty comfortable. It was nice to have a full breakfast, although the breakfast room was quite crowded and it looked like the staff had to work really hard to keep up. We did not use the gym and pool, and did not sit at the bar.

This hotel used to be a gem in Paso Robles. I first came here about 10 years ago for a wedding, and was truly impressed by the quality of the rooms in the hotel overall. They had a host, happy hour that included free wine and it had free electric chargers for vehicles. I came here many times and always enjoyed the free breakfast and the proximity to things around town. However, now the hotel is in need of some maintenance. The rooms show a lot of wear. The chargers are no longer free for vehicles. the happy hour was only a discount on an over priced drink. Breakfast was good. Service was good. Chocolate chip cookies were a nice touch

This hotel was pet friendly, did not hear other pets barking. Was clean, staff was very friendly. Away from the main street, so it was very quiet. Breakfast voucher was a big plus, and their were options. Staff were very pleasant and friendly.

First night of our stay there was no water so we were unable to take a shower till the following night (The water was still not working the morning after)...unfortunately we paid all that money and water/showering is a big priority! And that's not all... they were working on rooms around us so we were woken up with loud construction the 2 mornings we were there...

I really liked this place. Loved that it was a Pet friendly hotel. I have a lab and he enjoyed his stay as well. I was worried that I was going to hear dogs barking and it was pretty sound proof and no one complained about my dog barking when he would hear someone walk pass our room. Staff was great and helpful. The room was nice but the sofa bed was dated. It sunk in the middle and the cushions were just like any old couch. 😐. The king bed was comfortable. I wish they had extra pillows and towels available or stored in the room knowing more people are reserved to stay in the room. The dog area needs more grass. It was too damp, and some owners didn’t pickup after their dogs so it was a little gross that I didn’t want to take my dog in there so it would be nice to have that zone cleaned up more often. Overall, it was a great place to stay with my family and pet. Will be back next time.

The hotel was as expected hence the ratings. However we are disappointed that the USD 100 security deposit taken when we arrived has still not been refunded despite several emails - no response from the hotel as of yet one week after checkout. So be warned.

Upon arrival the front desk personal told me that I had a total of 3 rooms booked and i had confirmation with me of only 2. The person said that she would take off the 3rd room and just say that we called in and cancelled it. This is not the first time i have had some sort of problem with this hotel and staff!

I love staying here! I always take my granddaughter (or friends) to the Mid state fair for a concert (or two). We Always stay @ the Oaks. Very clean, Easy walk to fair grounds & a nice breakfast in the morning!!! 100 % win win!!!

Our bedding had holes in the bed skirt and comforter. One roll of our toilet paper appeared to have gotten wet and looked to be bloody but was still on the holder and the wall behind the toilet was dirty. The room had an odd smell. There was no water for the Kurig. I asked the staff to put us near our friends and she put us on completely different floors.

Checkin was definitely not pleasant checking in with a woman who was hard to understand and rude. The room wasn’t the best. As soon as we walked in it had this weird odor we had to open the window to air out. There was blood or makeup on a curtain. The “king” size bed was maybe a queen. Walls and doors are so thin you can hear everything. Even walking down the hall to your room you can hear the conversations in the rooms. Hot breakfast had stale waffles and watery eggs, toaster didn’t work. Definitely never going to stay here again. We were with two other couples who also had their own problems with the rooms and staff.
