Great location for access to the castle. Also short walk to the new town area. Friendly staff. Comfortable room.

Great location. Right across from the medieval city. Easy walk to the town center. Staff was exceptional!

Great hotel, so close to the entrance to the medieval city. The reception were so helpful and booked a fabulous restaurant for us. Also we were able to park our camper van securely which was good. We will return and dine at the sister hotel’s restaurant next time

A lovely hotel with very close proximity to the castle gate . Safe and private parking
Very helpful staff .We didn’t use the restaurant at all so I can’t comment on that .
Gorgeous chilled ,cat , Pom-pom asleep in the reception .

Beautiful and peaceful hotel but in such close proximity to the medieval city.
However the highlight was the staff - so accommodating and friendly.
Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

I would highly recommend this hotel. Perfect location to see Carcassonne. Wonderful pool, too.
The staff is excellent from check in to when you leave.

The location to Cite is perfect---just across the parking lot. The parking offered by the hotel is also convenient and safe. They were very helpful in making reservations for one of the Putelat restaurants, which was an excellent experience.

This modern clean well designed and comfortable property was extremely close to the old city. Parking was alongside. Bed was very comfortable with all mod cons. Highly recommended.

Last minute decision for a couple of nights in Carcassonne - the hotel is right next to the main gate to the walled town.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel, very stylishly decorated. The room we were in (9) was quite small, however. Additionally, I had an issue with the hair dryers (I tried two) that kept overheating almost immediately. Nevertheless, I would recommend this hotel based on its excellent location.

Boutique hotel in excellent location. Reception staff were professional and helpful. Breakfast fresh and plentiful. Rooms are individually decorated and most have views of the nearby castle. Unfortunately our allocated room was on the ground floor with terrace but without any view and located near the service/maintenance areas. Room size was adequate but floor was uncarpeted and cold. Bathroom design difficult with no storage space.

In planning, I did not appreciate how close this hotel was to the old walled town. It is across the road from one of the main gates (and you dont have to walk up a hill for this gate!). There is a lovely picturesque cemetery acros the road to which makes for a very scenic view. Private parking is out the back (although you still have to go through public carpark to get into it). The poo, looked very inviting but I just didnt have the time to use. This hotel is very modern and art-y, but rooms were small and strangely designed. As I have experienced elsewhere in France, the toilet is at the front entry (in a small room), then you have to walk across the bedroom to get to the sink to wash your hands. A bath sat about 1.5 metres fom the bed. There diidnt really feel like any room to open my suitcase. There was a lovely private outdoor area where one could sit outside, but the chairs looked pretty uncomfortable (I didnt have the time to really try them though).Main thing was there was apparently no access to food in this hotel. You could make a booking for Francks restaurant in town, but there was no room service, no ice machine, no minibar food. They did give you a lovely baked good on check in - that was my dinner. Maybe if I had a bit more time and had planned a bit better, I would have enjoyed this hotel more.

Best way to discover Carcassonne. Near the gate, quiet and great patio/pool area.

Fantastic location right across from the main gate of the medieval city walls. Easy access from airport as the shuttle bus stops almost right outside. Check in was very smooth and the receptionist made sure we had plenty of information about the city and answered all our questions - the staff were uniformly great throughout. We had a small but beautiful room with a great shower on the first floor, giving direct access out to a decked terrace with sunloungers and a short walk to the pool. This is a great place to unwind and relax, being at the rear of the hotel and sheltered from the hubbub in front. Steps lead to a meadow where you can get unimpeded views of the city walls. The hotel photos really dont do it justice. We booked ourselves a table at Franck Putelats restaurant which is thoroughly recommended. Not cheap but definitely an experience not to be missed. It was my wifes birthday and they brought out a little surprise birthday cake for her which really made her evening. A great little hotel in the perfect location. I really cant fault it.

The location is hard to beat and the grounds in the back are lovely and quiet with a nice pool. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The decor in the hotel was dated with purple, yellow and black predominant in the rooms. The hall carpet is a disturbing black and white spotted pattern with red accents on the steps. It could definitely use a decorative update. Our main complaint is that the room was not very clean, especially the carpet, floors and the shower. They didn’t change the towels or do any cleanup other than making the bed. I would give the hotel 3.5 stars.

Overall I was disappointed with the experience. The room was only cleaned once during our 3 night stay. Supplies such as water, toilet rolls and toiletries were not replenished during our stay. There was no fridge. The room itself was on the small side and lighting dark, partially due to two light fittings being missing

This was the perfect hotel to stay in while visiting Carcassonne. The rooms were beautiful, our room opened up onto a really nice patio, and we were literally right across the street from the past. If you’re going to visit Carcassonne, this is the best hotel in the area do you stay at.

We loved the location of the hotel, and the staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The space is ultra-hip and cool and comfortable. It can feel a wee bit precious, though, e.g., the sink and shower are sleek and gorgeous, but its not really conducive to having room to put personal items; the isolated toilet is in a private closet, but its 14 steps away from the sink. Still, for the location -- steps from the Narbonne Gate, which means you have all the conveniences with none of the tourist frenzy -- and the incredibly helpful staff made this a winner all around.

Very nice hotel in a great location just outside the gate to medieval city. Room was very nice. We had a jacuzzi but it was not that warm but this was due to the cold weather. Service was very good. Our only complaint was the room cleaning which did not happen on our first day and we interrupted cleaning on 2nd day at 16:00 having been out since 11:00. We had to ask for clean towels.

very friendly staff and efficient. The hotel is well placed to visit Carcassonne castle which is why we stayed there. The view from the hotel is wonderful. Carcassonne is the centre of the Cathar region and there are plenty of historical sites and Abbeys to visit . Narbonne is a must to see.

We had an excellent three days in Carcassone. The hotel was very convenient for visiting the Cite. All the staff were very helpful. The only negative was the lack of storage space for clothes in our room.

Hotel 50 yards from Citie de Carcassonne. Modern & contemporary hotel, very clean and well designed with extremely comfortable beds. We were very kindly upgraded to a superior room by the Hotel Manageress, which was great even though we were very happy with the room we slept in the first night. A real bonus and much appreciated. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Great outdoor pool with stunning view all around the hotel. Very pleasant areas to sit around the hotel, or wander onto the 2 acre heathland at the back of the hotel with direct views across to the stunning walled city of Carcassonne. Delicious buffet breakfast with a good selection of local products. Although this is a boutique hotel on two levels, there was a handy lift useful for anyone with suitcases, or limited mobility. One of our most relaxing breaks (Monday to Friday) we've had in a long time. Evening meals could be taken at the hotel's Bistro or 2 star Mitchelin restaurant in town, however, we found the proximity to the many restaurants within the walled city so convenient being only a stride away. The hotel is only a 10 minute taxi ride from Carcassonne Airport which was perfect! We'd love to return to this hotel and have already told family and friends about our lovely holiday there.

Great hotel, the team are very happy to assist with anything you need.
They even rang to check prices for a taxi for us. Provided a good overview of the sights things to do and places to eat and all the recommendations were perfect.
The facilities are bright modern and clean. The garden and pool area are a huge bonus as is the hill behind the hotel to give you a great view of the city.
