Restaurant was closed so breakfast was in the cafe downstairs, the choice was awful and the staff where not pleasant, but for the money this hotel is great value.

Basic hotel but very clean. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Very conveniently located just in the heart of Santa Polla. All the amenities are just in 5 mins walking distance from the hotel. I only have 2 recommendations for hotel Patilla- make the walls more soundproof and get some English channels on tv. Everything else was fantastic.

For the price charged did not expect a decent breakfast, but it was self-service including eggs bacon, juices, cold meats, as much tea/coffee and toast as you wanted. Good start to the day. No rushing you out of your room on check out day. Great central location for a winter break.

It’s positive in the centre of Santa Pila is great. Proximity of transport is good.
Menu is rather limited, especially for a vegetarian
Restaurant staff are extremely helpful and kind.
Front desk staff appear rather indifferent

Can not moan about this hotel it was in a great area and most of staff were friendly except for the odd couple .

Poor nutrition. (breakfast) The air conditioner in the room releases condensation which drips fast on the floor. There was no charge for renting a safe. The last day demanded payment of 30 €.

Really lovely Hotel , spotlessly clean , lots of breakfast choice, staff that were friendly and approachable.
Pretty decoration it’s perfect to come back to after a day at the beach ,air conditioned room, felt very safe.
Doors are manned by the reception..Santa Pola is a delight (almost don’t want everyone to know :))
Great location and a charming Restaurant.
The Hotel is really easy to find from the bus station ,it’s five minutes to the Marina where you see the fishermen and all the boats to Tarbarca Island.
You have beaches both sides and it’s lined with cafes and restaurants.
Thank you Expedia 😀

We arrive very late at night and the hotel receptionist was very friendly and helpful. However, this was the only receptionist who was helpful, all the other reception staff we encountered were really unprofessional; they were either outside smoking or talking to someone in the restaurant, many times we found the reception unmanned. When we had a query and approached reception most times we were not acknowledged and we had to wait for the receptionist to lift her head from her computer screen.
The hotel itself is rated two star and is basic but the rooms are and public areas are very clean and tidy. The bathrooms are OK and there is always hot water. I have stayed in three star hotels where the rooms weren't as good as this. The walls are thin and there is a lot of noise from adjoining rooms and corridors. The place is well situated for the beach, shops and castle.
Breakfast is the usual buffet and not very exciting.
The restaurant, however, is another story! I have never been made to feel so unwelcome anywhere in my life. When we tried to order the waiters would turn their back and ignore us or simply walk away! When we did get service it certainly wasn't with a smile! Food and drinks were slammed down on the table in front of us. One evening we ordered a round of drinks at 10.55pm, shortly after 11.00pm we were told the restaurant closes at 11.00 and were asked to leave as they needed to clean the place. They could have told us the closing time before we ordered.

Good value for money hotel slap bang in the centre. Was offered the choice of bed in room, double or two singles. Clean and comfortable. Only grouse was walls very thin so some noise from the room next door. Basic choice for breakfast of hot or cold. For a short stay it was perfectly acceptable.

Although it is quite basic, it is clean, functional and close to the Castillo and the town Centre.
The staff were very polite and helpful, which the Spanish generally are, even with the often rude english.
I was impressed.

It was ok at the beginning, but had a few problems. 1- We found the rooms need sound insulation! You can hear if the guests next door (or upstair) talk, walk, flush the toilet or have a shower. 2- The cleaning was very basic, just the floor, replenish of toiletries etc, and beds made. But later on we realised that the bed sheets and towels were nlt changed regularly! We stayed for 2 weeks and on the second week we realised that even though we left the towels in the shower to be replaced, they were not! The same with the bed sheets! 3 - Someone from the bar told me.off because my husband sat down in the main cafeteria dronkonf his own milkshake even though he ordered a toasted sandwich. This waiter talked to me instead of to my husband (Im asuming because I speak Spanish and I was translating for mt husband with the staff at the bar) but he got very close to my face and was not discreet at all. So everyone from the cafeteria was looking at me, and I was not even the one drinking the milkshake! 4 - We were not given rhe a/c machine control until we went to reception one day to ask how could we change the settings as it was still quite hot in the room. But the control didn't work. 5- One afternoon there was a strong smell of marihuana on the 1st floor. The receptionist did not seem bothered when I called to let them know. 6- I did not feel the receptionists were taking our concerns and complaints seriously (cafeteria waiter, a/c, marihuana smell, noise, etc) Won't be coming back

We literally needed a place to get our heads down for a few hours due to a launch party in a friends bar in Gran Alacant.
I purposely picked the cheapest I could get and was very pleased with the result.
I have paid 3 times that amount and stayed In much worse places

Hotel near main square , beach and shops. Twice weekly market and good selection of shops.
Annual fiesta, the first week in September, 1st to 8th, well worth being there at that time. Place vibrant with lots of parades and things going on. Locals in party mood.

Not the friendliest place I have stayed. Enough said.

This is the perfect location for a stay in Santa Pola. Everything is close by - particularly the square next to the old fort where you can relax and savour life in Spain. We stayed out of season in October with the benefit of fewer tourists! Will definitely go again.
