Amazing view and great location

The staff, room, and facilities were amazing. The bed and pillows however were the most uncomfortable sleeping conditions I've ever experienced and the bed frame was actually broken in multiple places making it feel as though the bed would collapse every time i got in it. My only feedback would be to please fix the bed frame and get more cofortable matresses and pillows as I experienced back pain and restless sleep every night of my stay. Overall, the resort was very nice though.

Overall the property was nice.

What I didn't like was the surprise to find out that I booked a private resident. This was nowhere to be found when I pulled up this property. It was listed as The Atlantic Resort and Spa. Until we arrived and it was on the third day that I had a question about needing 2 wash clothes and the front desk said there is a charge for that! Excuse me and please explain? She proceeds to tell me that I should have received the room charge list through my email. Nope! Just hearing about this right this very second. She proceeds to tell me she can print it out. Sure, cause I need to see and read it. Shocking the list was rather long and included so many things a hotel room comes with that I would be charged for because my room was a private residence. I didn't receive the email and I didn't sign anything that I acknowledged the list. She kept saying that it was sent. okay I hear you and I'm here already checked in so I'm not going to argue. I just don't like surprises. Also speaking of surprises, the front desk gal that evening was rude as all get out. We were just checking in. Then she says that she would need a credit card to hold $600 as a deposit. A what?? For What? And where was that mentioned in my booking? It' a deposit for incidentals, She printed the form out for me to read through it and sign it that I understand it. I said that I will read it. Then more rude because I won't sign it, because I wanted to read it and I guess she wanted it signed right now. But I'm not a speed

It was a very nice clean place. The staff was excellent and the restaurants were both good.

Very nice place. Was here during the Ft Lauderdale Airshow which we didn’t know about until we got here. The Thunderbirds practiced and flew right by our building. Everything was fantastic except the shower water was too hot. We called front desk but the fix didn’t work.

This property is right in the heart of it all, right across the street from the beach, and walking distance to a nearby park. Great amenities - gym and spa. The only issue was that it was so loud. I prefer balcony with ocean view. There were times where I wanted to sit and have some quiet time, but the bar and pool are in that area, and there was loud music which is totally understandable if you like that sort of thing. The restaurant was nice as well - outdoors. We unfortunately didn’t make reservations for Sunday brunch, and had to sit inside. Again, the music was so loud that I could barely have a conversation with my husband. Overall, it was a nice stay, close to amenities and nice ocean view, but a little noisy.

Excellent stay!!! My friend and I booked just one night as we were leaving on a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale Saturday afternoon. The price was a little steep however I think you get what you pay for applies here! All accommodations and services were top notch! The bellhop even watched our luggage before check in and after check out while we explored and had an early lunch. He was great!

This property was ideally located to everything. Beautiful ocean view. Pool area was nice - not a fan of kids in the pool with diapers on. Bar and food service on the pool deck was very good. Check in was excellent. Unit faced the ocean and was fairly large. It could do with some updating - old furniture, carpet needs replacing, etc. Bed was still comfy though.

They fail to mention the $45 parking fee per night or a $45 fee for providing you with internet and 2 bottle of water per day.
3.6
Parking was too expensive. I would think twice about staying here again for that reason.

We stayed in a Private Residence and overall the stay was nice. The beach is beautiful, the food on property was good and the location was fine. The biggest negative is that nothing pertaining to fees for staying in a Private Residence are disclosed prior to your stay. And we had to prepay at time of booking so knowing this upfront should be disclosed.. So, if you want/need anything during your stay you will pay the hotel $20 for each set of clean towels, $3 for coffee, $3 for toilet paper, etc. the hotel hands you a price list when you check in.
The Expedia website also lists that the hotel offers transfers to/from the airport but that is not the case. The hotel said it is not available. This service should be removed from the Expedia listing.

Prime location, great view

The unit was well stocked to be able to cook/eat in the room. The view from the room and lanai of the ocean and beach was beautiful. If arriving at night and driving to the hotel from the airport, be prepared for a busy nightlife on the street (darting pedestrians in the dark). It is an easy and direct drive from airport, but takes an alert driver to avoid the revelry in the streets. The restaurant at the hotel was adequate (service was slow and food served more lukewarm than hot).

I was very disappointed with the com

Friendly staff, quiet and valet service was excellent. Had to call about the robes and slippers but they were delivered quickly. Very nice stay! Highly recommend this one!

Wasn't aware of the $45 a day valet parking fee. Most private residence that weve stayed in offer a pass to be used for 1 vehicle. Never received the text message that had the link for valet to be messaged to have the car ready when we came down. Guess the guy had input our info wrong day 1 & it was never corrected, so we had to continually bother the front desk. Upon arrival there we found ants on the counter EVERYWHERE!!! Reached out to front desk & no one showed up all day. Reached out the 2nd day and a guy showed up with bug spray while we went to the beach. Had to call the 3rd day because the problem persisted and we woke up with ants in our bed. Housekeeping left the spray this time for us. We're told we couldn't change rooms because we rented privately but we offered 2 drink tickets. For what we paid this shouldn't have been an issue at all! Outside of all of that the room/facility was beautiful.

Way too expensive for what you get

I've stayed at this hotel before but this time I stayed at the Private Residences type of room. It was advertised as a king bed but sleeps 3 people. Upon arrival, we found out from the front desk, it only sleeps 2. No sofa bed or other option. We asked for a rollaway bed which was also shown as an option while booking. The front desk informed me a rollaway bed is not allowed in that type of room because it would be a fire hazard. Housekeeping was not included for the Private Residences rooms. That was not disclosed when booking. We had to call to request fresh towels, etc. Overall, I feel that there needs to be corrected information when booking a Private Residences room. I did not have any problems when I stayed previously in a regular (non Private Residences) room.

Very dissatisfied with the service, room wasn’t ready until 8:45 pm, no credit, reimbursement or anything, ate at wild tyme restaurant and my wife was giving a bill that wasn’t hers and they charged both bills to my room and after 2 weeks I have been unsuccessful in getting a refund. Keep giving me the run around, service there sucks. Had to ask for wash clothes. Will never stay here again!!!!!!😡

Don’t like to give bad reviews but was completely taken by surprise with a $360 parking bill at checkout that was not mentioned anywhere in the reservation. Pool water was at 65 all week unable to swim. Requested housekeeping services 48 hrs in advance 3 times and never received. Requested toilet tissue twice after no cleaning service and never received so had to finally go to front desk to get ourselves. Refrigerator froze up and we had to defrost ourself plus lost food. I would not rent from this property again.

Property run down
No cleaning at all the suite
Appliances and utensils in kitchen old and incomplete
No hospitality at all!

The property was great and everyone was so incredibly nice

Close to ocean. Kitchen with cookware in room

We arrived and our room was not ready until an an hour after check in. There were no apologies and the receptionist was rude. There was no communication with us about house keeping or any differences to the amenities because it’s a private rental. We were told to deal with our own garbage and was charged fees that we had to dispute before leaving. The bed was so hard and the pillows were horrible. This is the third time we stay here and this visit was very disappointing. It was our 24th anniversary and nothing was memorable

The resort was nice looking and clean but the pool heater broken in February was a big let down considering it was to cold in the ocean and a 42 dollar charge for parking is ridiculous for the price of the room per night. was charged a 300 dollar property fee from Expedia then 40 dollars a night resort fee from the Atlantic when i was told i was not a guest of the resort, for what ! We are from Ohio and were looking forward to this winter trip but with the broken pool and all of the extra untold in advance fees made this a very disappointing time for us. sorry to say we will not be back.

This was an ideal spot. Great property. I would highly recommend it. Very easy and had everything needed for a great stay. Thank you.

When we checked in, they wouldn't accept our prepaid hotels.com reservation. We had to pay a second time directly to the hotel. Now we are left with having to contact hotels.com for a refund and it is impossible to get a human on the phone. Wish us luck. Also, no one would answer at the front desk, we had to call from our cell phones to the number on the website, via reservations to get transferred and then they would answer. No room service. Room was clean and the onsite restaurant has a great brunch! We will be back for brunch, but will never stay at this hotel again.

Hotel is nice. Private residence are rooms within the hotel and all amenities are available. They charge extra for additional items such as toilet paper, tissues, and espresso pods. Bed and pillows were awful. It rained most of the time we were visiting forcing us to hang in the room without a comfortable place to sit. A single chair and the bed were the only seating options. The covered patio did not stop the rain from soaking the patio which eliminated that option too. The pool bar was great. All Staff were awesome from the front desk, valet, bartenders and spa. No housekeeping without additional charges so I have no opinion of their staff. Overall, it was ok but it was a one and done for me.
3.6
Location perfect. Balcony view was amazing. Espresso maker was a bonus. Shower was a leaky mess. Needs a shower head replacement and tighter shower curtain.

It was amazing. A view of the beach, wonderful places to eat, I enjoyed every moment of my stay

Loved the residence , was so spacious & comfortable

Excessive fees, not clear at all. Not sure if I am the only one who does not understand, but when booking, all fees on your Hotels.com receipt go to the owner of the private unit (cleaning, supplies, etc). Then on top of that you get another bill from the hotel itself for their fees. Also there is no housekeeping. There was not a hairdryer, not a huge deal but something to note. There was dust all over the microwave and its door was hard to open. The water pressure was not great and it took probably 10 minutes for the water to heat up. There was buildup on part of the kitchen sink. That being said, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the view was gorgeous. Great location, across from the beach. Now that I know what to expect, I would probably stay here again just because of the convenient location, view and bed. Will be checking out other hotels first though.

This resort is beautiful. The room was immaculate. The location is great, Directly across from the beach. The front desk gives you as many beach towels as you everyday, then you drop them off at the front desk when you’re done at the beach so you don’t have to bring any dirty beach towels into your room. The pool area is also beautiful. This is a higher and hotel for sure. Our flight was later in the afternoon and they were more than happy to extend a late check out at no cost. We will definitely be coming back.

Nice, beautiful property. We had an issue, but it was addressed right away. We are very satisfied with this resort
