Without doubt the most attentive and warm hearted staff that i have shared my holiday experience with nothing is to much for them. I cannot fault the whole experience, yes the building has some quarks but that is part of the charm. I will be back.

This is my second stay here. Both times the staff has been excellent. The apartment is the definition of charming. I had the Luna suite with access to the rooftop. Tutto perfetto!

Casa D’aria is a quaint and lovely place for a vacation set in an ideal location in Catania. The eclectic style of the entire building is so interesting and homey. We had excellent communication with the owners leading up to our check in. The room was massive! With the comfiest bed tucked up on a loft. We made use of the full kitchenette and our room even had a washer to do our laundry. The rooftop communal terrace was a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the sounds of Catania. Could not recommend them enough! 10/10 stay.

First time visiting Catania and booked to stay at Casa D’aria.
Checkin was easy, they kept in touch and were super welcoming when I arrived. They walked me through the apartment and communal areas to make me feel at home.
The apartment was great. Really quirky and colour. The kitchen had everything I needed, cutlery, plates, fridge, washing machine. And the communal lounge and balcony were great too.
It’s in an amazing location, a short walk to all of the sights in Catania, and close to shops and restaurants.
Great stay. Would definitely stay here again if I’m back in Catania.

Very peculiar and characteristic/artistic place, you have to live with some small imperfections, which give the house its magic touch

Great location in Catania for a place to rest your head after walking around downtown!

Location was good however probably better for a yonger guest. The bed is ina loft, stairway is steep and the side walls of the loft very low. Host was very nice however appartment style so not on property often. Be sureto call ahead and schedule check in. Parking is on the street, busy but we had no problem. There is a bar next door and had one evening that was loud.

Casa D’Aria was centrally located. We were able to walk to Fontana dell’Elefante, Teatro Massimo Bellini, Piazza Carlo Alberto and a little farther to Villa Bellini to name a few. There were several restaurants, a few shops and a laundromat close by. The apartment was unique and had all the essentials. The bed was cozy and the linen were clean and soft. The hosts (Elena and D’Aria) were very helpful and friendly. They provided several recommendations on restaurants and sites to see while we were there. They even offered to arrange tours for us. We would definitely stay here again when returning to Catania.

Reception were very helpful and turned up quickly when we arrived early, and organized our taxi to the airport for an early flight the next day. However, the room smelt terrible, the air conditioner was not effective and the overhead shower did not work. There was loud music all night and we barely slept.

The hospitality is absolutly amazing. I was even greated with a glass of wine.

To get to the 'room' you had to walk up 62 steps, which at night was a problem as the lights were on a timer and you could not always make it up to the top in light. The room was a high ceiling space which had been converted to a combined facility. The steps to the raised area were steep without handrails. There was a small kitchenette under the raised bed, which had basic cooking implements, hob top, fridge and small table top oven. We were concerned when using the hob top that it would set the surrounding area alight. The shower, toilet area was in a corner of this room. Very small balcony looking into the street area. There were no servicing in the time we were there. One positive ........ Hot water. There are a lot of restaurants in the area serving mostly excellent Italian food. The outside area, the city etc is full of litter and plastic.
Also when you read the blurb it says there is a children's pool & spa. That's only for people staying in one particular room. Brought this to their attention & was told that they are hoping to make it available for other clients, not sure how as you would have to walk through someone's room.
Personally thought the price was a complete rip off, though I was told I would have a better deal booking direct.
Seriously not for anyone who has a walking, balance problem. Not sure how the other rooms where.

This place has plywood shower stalls and leaking hot water heater. When you get there they tell you this is a semi apartment. No daily room cleaning, towels, no desk service. On the 4th floor walk up. Bottom three floor are most new immigrants without English or Italian language . Do not open door in kitchen because of the natural gas leak. Do not ask for info. Everything they told us was wrong.
