My wife and I travel often and this is the first time we stayed in a Boutique Hotel. Terrazos de Golf exceeded our expectations. The host staff, Cecilia, Irene and Roberto went above and beyond their functions and catered to our needs and wants which aren’t many because they were already anticipated. They made us feel special and cared for. Cecilia even made a cake for my wife’s belated birthday celebration. The neat place afforded us a quiet and relaxing ambiance next to a golf course. The garden adjacent to the dining area and the water fountain garden next to dining tables provide a soothing effect while dining and wining. I will definitely remember our experience and stay here again with my family next trip to Costa Rica. Muchissimas gracias

This is the second night we stay and we're in a different room, it is very clean as the previous one and has all the same amenities. They were expecting us so the check in process was very fast. As this is our second stay, the neighborhood seems safe, and the hotel is very quiet. Also there's a mall nearby (2 min drive) where you can go to some restaurants (Taj mahalo was very good) and a supermarket. It's very close to the airport also (around 10-15 minute drive)

We have stayed at Terrazas several times when travelling to Costa Rica; It is convenient to the airport,but also a very comfortable and friendly small hotel. We feel very much at home; it is a family run business and we feel treated as family also It has an open feel, with a central garden and fountain, a beautifuly back garden and faces a golf course in the back. It is immaculately clean, and the staff are very helpful. It sits in a very nice residential neighbourhood; it is pleasant to walk in this area; there a restaurants and stores just a short distance away

The property was very clean and in a safe neighborhood it seems. There's a plaza close by where you can eat and go to the supermarket. Also it's next to the Cariari golf course. The staff was helpful and nice.

If you are looking for a clean, quiet small hotel with super friendly service and homemade breakfast with a big smile this is it! No pool or workout room, but if that wasn’t on your list I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! There are also nice restaurants in walking distance in a beautiful neighborhood.

This hotel is truly a gem located within a 15-20 minute taxi or uber ride to SJO international airport. Welcoming and thoughtful staff, plus a great location with good dining options within a walking distance bring us back. A reasonable rate is the icing on the cake.

Very clean. Comfortable setting. Relatively quiet given its proximity to the main highway. Friendly and expedient staff. Within walking distance to fine dining and fast food. There is a limited shopping district nearby. Very good value for your money. Do not expect a pool.

Very clean property. We stayed in a deluxe suite with a jacuzzi and it was very spacious. The property offers a breakfast for $10 and it was worth the money. The breakfast cook lady was very accommodating and made omlettes, eggs and pancakes made to order. The location is about 15 mins from the airport. Would love to stay here again.

What a gem! Cecilia and Roberto are amazing hosts. A lovely spot nestled in lush gardens on a beautiful golf course. Perfect for our last night. Close to the airport but charming and definitely worth a stay.

The staff went above and beyond! We arrived late for just one night at the end of our trip. We left the next morning to fly home which was also my husband’s birthday. My 12 year old snuck up to the front desk and asked Cecelia if they could put a candle in dad’s breakfast the next morning. Cecelia was sooo sweet and even printed out a birthday card for my son to give to dad. At breakfast they had a banana bread shaped like a heart with a candle for my husband the next morning. It was so kind of them. The hotel was immaculate. Comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast. And the kindest staff of any hotel we have ever stayed at. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

This was a small property, looks like a former house turned hotel. Very clean, but older carpet and small windows right up against parking area. Amenities show access to pool and tennis courts, but it seems to be a pain. There are at the nearby country club so they have to call and check with them then take you down there.

This boutique hotel is a converted hacienda that accommodates multiple guests yet still feels like a warm and inviting home. I rented a suite with a large jacuuzi for two tastefully located inside the room next to Ron length windows overlooking the golf course. Even though you are in the city of Heredia and a short drive from SJO Airport the location is adjacent to a beautiful county club and provides a serene rural feeling. So much so that I slept with the windows open at night, It was very romantic, comfortable and peaceful and I would recommend this place to anyone considering a stay in the San Jose area. The bed and sheets were very comfortable too. And last but not least are the hosts for this property, I cannot say enough about their attentiveness and care for their guest.

This hostess was not friendly. Other staff was very fun. The guy was very helpful. Had a room by restaurant with louvered windows, so it was noisy. Nice walk ongolf course. A bit hard to find the first time.

When we arrived, we were greeted like family. I have never experienced this at a hotel before, very nice. The small hotel is spotlessly clean and the family that runs it is very knowledgeable about the area and also able to recommend and book excellent day tours. Thank you very much for a wonderful holiday!
