Good location. Beautiful views. Clean hotel. But...
Wasted a lot of water filling up the tub to take a relaxing jetted bath, for the jets to not work and the button for them had exposed wires. The shower also flooded the bathroom because there was no seal. Definitely not 5 star hotel quality.
Also, no smart tv or anything. Not a huge deal but its supposed to be a 5 star hotel. Something that simple should be an option.

Beautiful, historic property, which has been elegantly restored

Beautiful place, centrally located in the historic center. All services were excellent. The staff was very helpful, especially Luis Enrique at the front desk. He was very courteous and informative.

Very lovely hotel, located very centrally in Segovia. Parking was easy and hotel was bigger than we expected. Nice decor, historic building. Felt like a maze sometimes. Staff was very kind and helpful, spoke good enough English. Lobby offered free welcome drinks and some sweets.
The room was fine, spacious enough and clean. We were disappointed to get two single bed instead of the double that we requested. No separate shower in the superior room, only shower in bathtub, did have a separate toilet. Room entrance was also outside of the main hotel, so if it rains it could be a bit troublesome.
Pool was only accessible for a fee, and even then you had to make an appointment and only get 90 minutes. Gym was very small with a defect airco.
Breakfast was fine but very chaotic, half of the time the buffet was almost empty because there were so many guests. Expected a bit more of a 5-star hotel breakfast.

The concierge was very helpful, fielding a call from the airline about our lost bags and holding them for us even after we checked out.
Room was comfortable and bath had good amenities.

We enjoyed our stay and this is our second time staying there. The one thing we would appreciate is a smart tv (the one in our room was not smart and we also had to cover it with a towel at night because it had an annoying blue light), especially after a long day walking around town.

Great location, great staff, loverly rooms, fantastic shower!
Bar drinks menu poor as was not having a bar person always around to serve!
Biggest disappointment was having to pay to use swimming pool and sauna, very unusual for this type of hotel.

We loved our stay at Aurea Conventos Capuchinos. The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are well appointed and very spacious. We had a car and the parking was fairly easy for being Europe, and cost $15 extra. We didn't do the breakfast because of the time restrictions and it was cheaper and less time consuming to go into town. The staff were polite and helpful. We would love to stay here again when we come back to Segovia!

Great hotel, it should be a 5 star but the lady in the front wasn’t friendly at all.
She struggle smiling the entire time however she was eficiente.
Our room was spacious yet felt empty and half done.
They were painting the outside of our room when we got there. The smell wasn’t the best.
The hotel itself is nice, elegant and were located however be ready to walk.

A unique hotel with a great location. Just a short walk to Plaza Mayor. The hotel grounds are beautiful. We spent an early evening wandering the gardens, taking in the views. The staff were friendly and accommodated us by putting the Matua Madrid Open on the TV lobby. Room was large, clean with nice outdoor space

What can be said about an old convenient being refurbished to become a five star hotel? Charming, quiet, picturesque, comfortable. The infused water and the spa services make it a true world class destination in one of the world's most beautiful towns.

Hotel is built in a former Capuchin monastery (400 years old). I had difficulty finding it, but it is directly above a public parking garage (that also serves the hotel), so once I was told to pull into the garage I was able to find it. The hotel is beautiful and a creative redo of the old monastery. However, the monastery layout means it is somewhat confusing to navigate and some rooms (thankfully mine) are in much better locations than others. I was in the main building on top floor, with a view of a river valley where I could watch and photograph storks and raptors flying. To get to parking garage from inside was quite confusing, though, and you have to take two different elevators separated by a long partly outdoor walkway. Only one of the two side-by-side second set of elevators reaches the garage.
Bathroom had a combo bathtub/shower, toilet and bidet (with a sliding frosted door to separate from rest of bathroom), hairdryer, two sinks. Room had a small refrigerator but it was completely filled with minibar drinks. There was a separate coffee maker and hot water maker for tea. The main restaurant was closed (not sure why, maybe it is only open in summer), but there was a bar/cafe with a couple nice choices that could be eaten there or delivered to your room (Caesar salad with chicken, etc). If you don’t mind walking (which I don’t), it is conveniently located about halfway between the Alcazar/Cathedral and the Roman Aqueduct.

Nice hotel very quiet

Beautiful old building skillfully converted to modern use. Our room was spacious and well appointed with a large bathroom. There was a separate shower which unfortunately did not have a door, only a partial barrier for the water. Since we really did not want a flood we used the shower in the tub. That being said, it is a splendid hotel.
