Nice hotel. Beautiful views in the bar/ dining area. Staff were helpful. Room was ok. Needed an update. We were horrified to discover bloody stained sheets on our bed and lots of body hairs. We are convinced the bed had not been changed. Staff changed the bed. I made a complaint but no response from the manager. Parking outside the front door was perfect. Although we were over charged for this. The entertainment on Saturday night was great. Good was nice.

Was staying in Newquay for the weekend to do some sightseeing. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Only let down is the hotel needs some updating. A lick of paint, maybe some new doors and windows. Other than this it was great and wouldn’t mind stopping again. The pub downstairs was great, only has breakfast there that was nice. Went down for a drink every night, they had live music on Friday and a quiz on Sunday which we thought was great! You’re in a certain location where you can walking to just about everywhere in Newquay.

Room was clean and spacious decour need addressing skirting boards looked liked they had been rubbed down but not painted so were a multi coloured and areas on wall 1 different shades on same wall bed was comfy but had what sounded like a motor keep kicking in at night so disturbed sleep

Dated rooms. Could feel sand in the sheets and the pillow was flat as a pancake. Breakfast and service was great and the sea view in the restaurant was beautiful.

It's an older building which comes with its drawbacks like noise insulation not being 1st grade. The facilities are decent and comfortable enough. Breakfast is good. Location is excellent, right next to the sea and beach. Train station less than a 5 min walk. Restaurants close by. 30 min walk to Fistral beach.

Location is great but hotel is run down and park only available if pre-booked . which i found out when i arrived. It cost me an extra £36 to park for 3 days

Had a very nice stay, food was good had breakfast and another meal. Windows were cleaned for the sea view on our two days there. Just make certain to keep curtains close if u like walking round nude or u nigh embarrass someone. Room with out side balcony. The staff were very helpful. Tried numerous times to book parking kept going to answer phone. Turns out was fully booked would be an idea to leave a message saying that as we wouldn’t have kept phoning. Will be back.

Stunning views. Staff were very friendly. The hotel is in a great location . Nice breakfast. Pre booked parking was very convenient. We were able to park at 12 even though check in was at 2:30.

You get what you pay for. This was fine for one night. Friendly staff. Hotel is very dated and in need of modernisation but for the price was ok value.

The location of the hotel was great and the staff were excellent. Particularly Michelle on reception who helped us move rooms when we had an issue with ours. She was great and couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy and comfortable.

Charming old Hotel but requires some maintenance. Our room was clean , bed comfy and staff were excellent. Very basic menu . Newquay has gone down hill terribly over the years but the natural beauty of the coastline remains breathtaking. We had a fantastic sea view from our room which balanced out the disrepair .

Bedroom Right above to the dustbins and kitchen vents and boiler chimney so very noisy especially on 5 am bin collection. They couldn’t offer an alternative room as coming up to bank holiday weekend. Also very creeky floor boards.

Right in centre of Newquay, close to Beaches, Main Street and Railway Station. Outside of building does look a bit weather worn but that is probably only to be expected given the location The Bar and Dining area is relatively spacious & the included breakfast was pretty good! Room was smallish, relatively comfortable bed and a clean toilet and shower. Hotel staff were all extremely pleasant!

Stayed here several times now and never been disappointed. Food is excellent and the atmosphere in the bar is always good. Staff are very friendly. The outside area and beer garden has a relaxed atmosphere with great views over the beach

Bedroom and bathroom were a good size. Previous occupants dirty towel left on radiator. Paperwork and crumbs on bedside table,crumbs on other bedside table. Both single beds were not made up properly and pillow cases looked as if they hadn't been changed,so I got 2 fresh pillows from the wardrobe. I also found a blood spot on one pillow and a stain on one quilt cover. I have photos.

The stay was beautiful! It was relatively clean but there were some black spots in the bathroom and some stains in the carpet. Its an old building so this wasn't necessarily surprising. Location was perfect. Overall a very nice and lovely stay for the money!

Shower head was not attached to the wall it kept falling when on witch meant i had ti manually hold it Service at recpetion was slow and not very professional i actually checked out at 5.30 pm and did not stay the night

Was allocated the room early so i coild relax after my long journey. Car park space booked at £7 per day so didnt have to search for parking. Room 202 was spacious with sofa so larger than expected. Bathroom modern walk in shower . Very happy

Staff were amazing and really welcoming. The room and especially the bed was really comfortable and clean. Great central place to stay. Breakfast was very good for the price and a good choice of cotenental and cooked food.
