I recently stayed at this resort while attending a wedding and was very disappointed. Upon check-in, I was asked for my card information and told I would be paying immediately, which was odd since I usually pay at the end of my stay, especially after booking through a third-party site. I complied and was informed my card was declined due to the resort attempting to charge $30,000 instead of $600. The staff was apathetic and unable to clarify this issue, resulting in American Express limiting my spending. After finally checking in with another card, I found the hot water wasn’t working and the bed linens were dirty. Attempts to reach the front desk went unanswered, so I had to message staff via WhatsApp, which led to Expedia helping get someone to change the linens. The staff arrived with an attitude despite the clear issue. The next day, my breakfast order was incomplete and incorrect. If my stay had been longer, I would have left for another resort. While the view is beautiful, the hospitality and service were severely lacking. I cannot recommend this resort based on my experience.

I stayed at the TRS cap Cana for 4 days. Great place to relax and the service was great. Don’t pre-plan your excursions they will not have any communication with the hotel around your travel. Plan everything from the hotel. They need more activities for get for guest

Amazing all the way around. Service was impeccable, the facilities were beautiful, and our room was quite comfortable. It could have used a few more food choices, but it was low season, so we didn't expect much. If you want a vacation where you can unplug, this is the place. If Punta Cana is not on your vacation list, it should be.

Unfortunately this is not 5 stars , food mediocre lunch is the worst fake burgers and starch hot dogs and lowest quality seafood for what we paid this was really not ok ! I calculated for $50 more per day they can serve best food instead of what was happening, breakfast ok , STAFF AMAZING PEOPLE BUT THEIR HANDS ARE TIED , NEVER AGAIN , Also this facility has no functioning beach ! Beware of that !

This property had the potential to be better than what it showcased. The customer experience was far from what I imagined it would be to say the least. Poor upper management (nonexistent) everytime I placed a complaint no one ever addressed it. I’d often get asked what do I need the manager for. Room service never got my orders right even after having them repeat the order back to me. Some nights they wouldn’t even take calls for room service. Dinning options were very limited with not many other options but for the room service option. The day before our last stay it was storming and they still expected us to sit out in an open space venue for dinner with no other option than room service. Swimming pool had trash floating around in it and was maintained properly. Staff walking around eating from the grill. I mean I could honestly go on about how terrible my experience was at this place. To summarize it all up simply do not go period. I recommend Finnest property!! I thought trying something different would be really fun but instead it’s been more than just a nasty headache.

I recently stayed at TRS Cap Cana, which is a nice property but had several issues. The dining options were quite limited, and there were few activities offered, with the ones available often poorly attended. The beach was particularly disappointing due to constant piles of seaweed, which created an unpleasant smell and was difficult for the staff to manage. I also experienced a long wait of an hour and a half for my room, which was ready only at 4:30 PM, despite being told there were no capacity issues. Additionally, my request for a swimout room with a view was not fulfilled. The assigned "private beach area" at Juanillo Beach was not ideal, as the TRS area lacked direct beach access due to rocks. On a positive note, I enjoyed the room and found the staff to be very friendly. Our butler, Julia, was exceptional and made our stay more enjoyable.

The pool bar had the best service, Edwin was very pleasant, food service was horrible at restaurants, we came in july 2024 and the facility was not busy at all. Multiple times we had ask/reorder or food, food and drinks(water or alcoholic drinks) took forever, again we had to keep asking for our food amd drinks. Place was clean, seems dated, paint everywhere, onbhot tub, tile floors, doors. The beach was very small and full of seaweed. So bad no one was ever at the beach.

In all honesty the checkin staff was the best experience we had, other than that, everything else was below average, we did not receive the perks we were promised, very limited dining, we just had room service the whole time. The room was the worst part… EXTREMELY HUMID, I slept drenched. We were assigned a butler and asked for many things and never saw him again after he took us to our room. The beach… that’s a lie what it’s shown on the pictures, that is NOT a beach.

This was an awesome resort with great people. We had a swim out suite in front of the main pool. Most of the food was good and we liked the butler service that we had throughout our stay. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they even gave us a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and two bottles of liquor as well. We had a great time and recommended this resort!

All inclusive. Drinks are amazing. Try the Miami vice, Mai tai, and rum punch but, be careful. The drinks taste like juice and will hit you like a ton of bricks but, we are here for a good time, not a long time. Julia was our go to person for anything we needed. She was very attentive and kind. I love her spirit and smile. She would text us daily activities. The resort was very clean and had a lot of things to do like the private beach, pool with a bar, different daily activities like a fire show/circus, darts, foam pool party, etc. they also have a good selection of music playing throughout the day. I stayed in the junior suite with ocean view and balcony. It had a beautiful view of the resort and ocean. I would definitely come again.

We had an amazing time and I highly recommend for any couple to visit and experience. All the staff and services are amazing too. Met the most wonderful staff members and other visitors. We were on first name basis after day one. Butler- Julia, Server- Yohanna and all the servers, The DJ- Dario, The Pool Bartenders Luis and Edwin, Room Service with Luis, The Spa Staff and all the other service members were exceptional. The Resort Manager is amazing too. He has so much energy and keeps everyone entertained. We plan on visiting again.

Our first visit to TRS was for celebration of our 40th Wedding Anniversary and we like so, so much that we brought our Daughter with Us the second time visiting TRS, great job, great Resort, my only complaint is the staff wasn’t that good we people by the swim up rooms, keep your eyes, you, yourself, have to go to get your drinks 🍺

Staff and grounds were A Absolutely no complaints when it comes to anything at TRS Cap Cana. The only thing was it sits in a marina and the beach was very small (although they do offer free shuttle service to a nearby public beach daily) and I wish there were more food options as far as authentic Dominican food. The staff were all amazing, from checkin, waiters and waitresses, personal butler, bar tenders and activity hosts. The resort itself is beautiful and well maintained.
