Building is rustic in look but modern in convenience. Staff is lovely and quite helpful. Close to beaches or cities. Good food. Beautiful grounds. I would stay there again.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by all the staff with warmth, friendliness and enthusiasm. The concierge made some great recommendations for restaurants and places to park in Nito and Ragusa. They really do enjoy their work and it shows. The property is lovely and the pool is amazing. The location is about half a km from the road so it was peaceful but with places like Noto and Syracuse within an hour, we felt this was the best location out of the 3 areas we stayed in.

Absolutely stunning pool area and grounds, which were surrounded by an orchard of oranges, lemons, olives and carobs. It was very peaceful. We also enjoyed using the gym and tennis court. The interior decor is very tasteful and contemporary. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful.

A luxury boutique hotel, great accommodation -we had a first floor superior room with a small terrace - in lovely grounds, large pool and good views. Location is a bit remote from local towns, the nearest with anything to offer visitors being Noto, 30 mins drive away.
The on site restaurant had excellent food but pricey and a limited menu. The main drawback is breakfast -it’s not included in the price, is relatively expensive, and I found it annoying to have to order it all online the previous day/evening, so that it can be delivered to you on a tray at your table at your chosen time. Don’t be late as otherwise your eggs will be cold! Not sure if this is Covid related, but did not encounter this kind of bureaucracy anywhere else in Sicily so assume it’s a management gimmick/ attempt to reduce waste at risk of customer inconvenience. We avoided and went out elsewhere.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this beautifully restored Masseria. Felt welcomed from the start until the end of my stay. The room and other areas were exceptionally clean. Staff were friendly. Dinner was great. Pool setting is stunning. Only disappointment is I didn’t go to the belvedere to view the sunset or sunrise. Next time!

We had a really great time, truly magical place and the service from the reception was heartwarming and very welcoming. The pool is amazing, together with the very charming rooms. My only small comment regarding service in general from waiters/bartenders would be the speed. It’s not the fastest service but all in all, I would definitely come back to enjoy my relaxing time in this special place.

The hotel itself is amazing, such a lovely place to spend time in - it was a shame we didn't spend more time on our trip there.
Being picky - the only let downs were (i) no kettle in the room and it was very awkward trying to get a coffee/tea in the evening - we were told that we couldn't order tea at the bar and would need to pay a room service fee (which was then waived, but it was still a pain and an unnecessary inconvenience); and (ii) the service wasn't quite as good as the other hotel we stayed at in Sicily (Villa Ducale in Taormina).
There was also an additional charge to use the spa (jacuzzi, sauna etc.) which felt odd, it would be better to pay slightly more for the room and not have to pay separate amounts to use the facilities.
There are however many more positive points, the restaurant was lovely and there were different options on different nights, with a BBQ night etc. There is also an outdoor cinema which is great for kids (and adults). The pool area and seating is great and there are double sunbeds and hammocks to enjoy too.
The gym is a nice touch but could do with some heavier weights (14kg max is nothing!)
The hotel also has bikes you can borrow to visit the viewpoint and tour the estate.
All in all a great hotel - well worth a trip!

The staff was so helpful and the bikes, pool, and spa were amazing!

Exceptional and peaceful hotel. The facilities are great and it's the cleanest swimming pool I've seen. Fresh fruit from the bio-garden every morning at breakfast was a joy. Customer service from the staff was excellent. Great location also for exploring the local area with lots to see but you definitely need a car.

We are back for the second year in whatbi believe is the best resort in Sicily. Everything is just perfect, and we will be back.

We had an amazing stay at Masseria. From the moment we drove up to the gate we realized that this would be a special stay. The property is luscious. Beautifully maintained grounds greet you. The room was spacious and well designed. The linens and bed were very comfortable. The restaurant was perfect. We wound up eating on site most every evening of our stay. The breakfast delicious. The staff is caring and accommodating. We felt pampered. We are not spa people but can only imagine how wonderful that is. Our kind of “spa” is a bar and this one is lovely. Everything is well prepar d and to choice. We made this our base for touring southern Sicily and the location is perfect for that. Easy access to Siracusa, Modica and Noto. Our best day was spent at the beaches nearby and the Reserve where we were fortunate to observe migrations Flamigos and Cranes. A once in a lifetime experience. It was a quiet and peaceful stop on a extended vacation in Italy. There are not enough adjectives or describe the beauty of this place.

First class. Upgraded to a beautiful room with a private terrace. Very friendly and well trained staff. 2 year old conversion with top of the line facilities including large pool and spa. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all very tasty with local products and attractive choices. We plan to return.

We stayed at this resort 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The site is located in an amazing landscape overlooking orange and olive trees as well as mountains. Excellent if you are looking for a place to relax, soak in the views, eat local and be not too far from Noto, Ragusa or Syracuse. Staff is very helpful and make you feel like home. They will even take the time to prepare your own blend of teas made from herbs coming off their gardens.

unbelievably calm, amazing food, gorgeous rooms, great activities/facilities including bikes and tenants.
also very baby friendly

Very nice hotel with beautifully maintained facilities. The only downside is that it is a bit difficult to find as it is located on some small country roads. Otherwise, an excellent choice.

Restaurant was somewhat disappointing for dinner- over priced with just average food. Otherwise, breakfast was good. Hotel grounds were amazing.

Everything from the modern facilities, to the amazing continental breakfast they serve everyday, the 25 meter infinity pool, the sauna and jacuzzi, great wine selection and delicious food, warm and friendly staff and comfortable rooms with balconys overlooking the olive & orange trees make this place such a joy to stay in! The location is perfect as well - near vineyards to go wine tasting, beaches and of course the UNESCO sites of Syracuse, Modica and Ragusa. Definitely one of the best places Ive stayed in!

Found a piece of paradise in the Sicilian hills. Pleasantly remote with stunning views and fantastically attentive staff. A culinary delight with the freshest of homegrown ingredients. Overall the best hotel we've stayed in - anywhere!

Had a wonderful relaxing stay, amazing views - so beautiful its hard to leave the grounds but did our sightseeing in the evening - everything stays open late. Hiring a car is a good idea.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Excellent discreet service, beautifully maintained rooms and land. fabulous food. Couldn't recommend highly enough

The old casseria has been lovingly developed into the most amazing hotel. Everything is of the very highest quality in terms of decor, facilities and staff. Our arrival coincided with an electric storm that locked the gates shut. It proved impossible for the staff to open them, so we had the unusual entrance of climbing the wall. The owner was very apologetic and immediately offered an upgrade of room. No doubt our original room would have been good, but the upgrade was excellent. We could not recommend this hotel more.

The hotel was great and kept very tidy, as were the rooms. A cot was provided for our daughter and there was more than enough space in the room for it. We had one of the rooms with a balcony which also provided beautiful views. The outdoor pool was fantastic and included a shallow area for children to play in. There were plenty of loungers around the pool for all the guests. The hotel also has a spa, gym and tennis court which all looked very good, however we did not use them. There is also a nice children's play area in the grounds of the hotel. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully maintained, with plenty of fruit and olive trees. The hotel is peacefully situated in the countryside so we would recommend to have a car to get around as there are fantastic beaches and towns to visit nearby. The food at the hotel was amazing - the breakfast buffet offering a wide selection. The staff were very helpful and family friendly, all of which contributed to a great holiday!

Incredible setting and resort design. Everything was perfect. You could tell that a good architect was involved. They had the best pool I ever swimmed in. The Spa is new, as the hotel and very good. Latest electronic technology everywhere. It took a while to get used to it.
