This hotel is just wonderful, the best hotel we ever stayed at. Even comparing with hotels in the US this one is far the best. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The property included a small and comfortable bus with the best bus driver, so nice and friendly, he took us to center of Florence. We did not have to drive there. The breakfast was amazing. The ladies at the breakfast area were all the time smiling and replenish all the breakfast items all the time, making sure nothing is missing. The reception greeting was amazing, we felt very well received, the lady showed us all the hotel areas. This hotel is a hidden gem. The beautiful view from our room and the gardens they have that you can walk around any time you want. Olive trees, the pines trees and the view of the hotel is just unique. The restaurant food was so good and they gave us free champagne to celebrate our anniversary that I mentioned in the reservation, they made us feel so special at dinner time. Our room was extremely clean and they made our bed, changed towels and cleaned while we were out. I highly recommend this hotel. Amazing amazing amazing!!!!

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. The hotel grounds were lovely and it was a short walk to the Piazzale Michelangelo for a gorgeous sunset view of Florence from across the Arno! Dinner in the hotel was nice and the wine selection superb.

Location was wonderful with great views. The shuttle to and from the city was a plus. The grounds have an outdoor garden where you can enjoy drinks. Breakfast had good options. Room was fairly small, had no A/C available for October only heater. Sara front desk attendant was very helpful and kind.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! The staff were so friendly, nice, and the service, 100%! Top, 5 star Villa hotel only 20 or so minutes from down town Florence. The grounds and buildings are truly stunning, rooms/beds are top notch, and the breakfast was so good! You can't beat this place for its value, location, and history period!

Very nice property with excellant Tuscon feel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a little far from the city, but they have a free shuttle to drop you at the edge of the city. The hotel will call you a cab if you need. Overall a nice hotel and good experiance. O

The hotel was very unique and charming. The staff was always accommodating and helpful with all our questions and request. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. The hotel is a free shuttle to two points in Florence, which worked out great for us! I would highly recommend this hotel if you do not want to stay in the city. It’s about a 10 minute shuttle ride from the city and it always was available to us for us.

"I had a wonderful stay at Art Hotel Agape in Florence. We booked the Junior Suite, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with all the comforts we needed. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, always ready to accommodate any request with a smile. The garden was a lovely place to relax, and the view from our room was simply breathtaking. I highly recommend booking a room with a view to fully enjoy the experience. Overall, a fantastic stay—I highly recommend this hotel!"

I stayed last year here and loved it so much I came back with a friend. The place is heaven. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the city. They provide a shuttle service down to Florence. The food is wonderful and the views from the terrace are amazing. The staff is lovely here, both friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast has lots of choices. I love it and highly recommend.

The Villa Agape is a splendid get away and offers the feeling of being in rural Tuscany yet is within walking distance of the center of town. We loved returning to the Villa at the end of each day and enjoying a cocktail. The quality of the food they serve is excellent and was one of the best meals on our stay in Florence. When we come back to Florence in the future it is a sure bet we will stay here again!

I was with 8 women on a trip to Tuscany. We stayed at Villa Agape in Florence for 1 night. We needed to hire a car service in advance of our trip, to pick us up at the airport and then the next day, drive us 2 hours to Tuscany. Villa Agape recommended a company and got me a quote, 6 months prior to leaving. All the staff was so communicative and made us feel safe and assured a car would be waiting for us. All 9 of us would stay at Villa Agape again but for a longer period because we enjoyed it so much!!

Absolutely loved the hotel. The view of the gardens and surrounding hillsides is stunning. Only minor complaint is the minimal amenities. They provided 2 shampoos and 2 body washes. There was no body lotion or conditioner. Thankfully l had thought to pack some to take with me. Breakfast in the mornings was delicious and there was a dining room or garden seating option.

The hotel its self and staff were all five stars. They not only have an airport shuttle but a shuttle to and from parts of the city which cuts down a lot of walking uphill. The gardens and views were spectacular. The breakfast Buffett was very good but unfortunately the food is so overpriced and really not great. Pasta was crunchy the two times we had it. The cover charge even for a hotel guest was pretty high especially when spending almost 500$ a night.

I loved every minute of my stay at Art Hotel Villa Agape! It was exactly what I was looking for after coming from the hustle and bustle of Rome. A quiet retreat with lush beautiful gardens and a spectacular view of the city. And even though it was not close to the center of Florence, the hotel provided a shuttle service in walking distance to some of the main attractions. i also thoroughly enjoyed the delicious buffet breakfast and took full advantage of the opportunity to have that meal every morning in their beautiful garden. The next time I visit Florence, I definitely plan to stay at this hotel. It was truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in Europe. And the pictures online do not do it justice.

Beautiful property! Everyone here was very kind & helpful. Very clean and a lovely boutique feel. We booked this location knowing it was a bit out of town and are glad we did. That being said, just know that the shuttle is limited to 2 locations and you’ll spend a little more on taxis. Don’t miss sunset on the back balcony!

This was one of the nicest places we have stayed. It is quiet and a short distance from the center of town. The food and the staff were excellent. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. This is a 14th century estate with all the charm and ambiance.

The hotel was located above Florence near Piazza Michaelangelo. They offer a convenient shuttle service, which makes for easy access to the city or piazza. However, you may need to go up and down stairs. The staff were very helpful and prompt. They arranged our taxi for an early departure of 4:30 am and provided us with a breakfast box! The shuttle arrived promptly upon request, the breakfast buffet was amazing and delicious! The grounds are breathtaking and offer plenty of beautiful photo opportunities and provide a quiet and relaxing atmosphere should you need a reprieve from the crowds. I highly recommend the villa!

The best experience. Tuscany in spring is beautiful and staying here just amplified that experience for us. The gardens and the seeing the sunset over the mountains is breathtaking. Also their breakfast is good and dinner menu is also good and convenient if you don’t want to walk down to the city. The staff were amazing and their drink prices were very reasonable. The hotel provides free shuttle service that drops you close to city and picks you up from the same location. You get great value for your money here. We are planning to come again next year. Grazie Mille! 😀

The customer service was superb. They made us drinks and deserts after the restaurant closed. And without asking them, they brought a cake out to breakfast for my sons birthday! Wow...just incredibly thoughtful staff!
