Amazingly clean cabin! Property was quiet, well maintained and beautiful!

We atayed here for three nights and everything was great. The cabin was clean and large for two bedrooms. It had a lot of plates, pots, pans, a charcoal grill, a propane grill and a firepit. The internet was decent (able to watch netflix on TV without issues and had wifi for the phone), although we spent more time around the firepit. The location is admittedly remote, which is part of the point of booking a cabin or campsite in this area. There are a couple of restaurants, a grocery store, etc in Thorp, about 15 miles north. However we cooked most of our meals on the grills provided. The man-made lake/pond next to the cabin is small, but still fun (for a small raft for the kids or catch and release fishing off the pier). The resort is located between two lakes (Mead Lake, 5 miles away, and Rock Damn Lake, 10 miles) that have larger beaches and fishing areas. We went to both, and I would recommend Rock Damn.

The cabin was beautiful as well as the grounds. I wish we would have gotten to enjoy it more. We had a hard time finding it as we didn’t get there until we’ll after dark. GPS did not work out there. We will be staying again.

I really love how private this property is. I had a great time hiking in nearby forests with my friend and dog and then coming back to warm up in front of the fireplace. The only issue with our stay was that the cabin was not ready when we got there. The property manager responded within an hour though, so we were not delayed much. We stayed here last year as well and had no issues then.

The cabin i stayed at was not what was advertised, very dissapointing. Thr bathroom looked disgusting like a stereotypical subway bathroom that hasnt been cleaned. To add to the mix some people just showed up and asked me to move stuff so they could access the property while i was on my vacation. The firepit was 10 feet from a massive eyesore of an aircondition/heater. Outside there was also a very very loud radiator. In the window frames there are layers of bugs, made me want to gag when i opened the window for some fresh air. Will not be recommending or returning this "resort", if you can even call it that, to anyone.

The cabin was exeptionally clean inside as were the appliances and cookware. Plenty of towels and washcloths. Very peaceful location. The only thing was the lawn around the cabin was in dire need of mowing.

Overall it was a good time, people were nice, hard to find stores but we managed to find a Cenex and pretty much carried everything!.....Fishing, play ground, a lot of space

Great find! Relaxing stay, clean and cozy cabin. The location is short drive to many scenic hiking trails. Plenty of bird watching at the cabin and gorgeous sunsets. Our dog Diesel was having so much fun that he didn't want to leave (:

This was our first time staying here and it was a relaxing cabin with a wonderful winter view. This was a family trip, so of course the kids also liked it that WIFI was available. I also liked it because the area was secluded and quiet.

It was a beautiful setting very secluded and comfortable cabin everything we wanted it was. And very reasonably priced. Kids did not want to leave we did not get sick of each other as we had enough room and we were in a beautiful area it was everything we wanted.

Easy check in and nice cabin. Everything was clean and just as stated. The fishing pond is catch and release, but the kids didn’t care. We caught 58 fish in three days! Very quiet and in the middle of no where, so make sure you have what you need. Also, it’s about ten miles of gravel road to get there, so it’s pretty dusty.

This place is beautiful! I will definitely be back! My only complaint is that you're so far in the boonies, phone service is very minimal! Generally, I wouldn't care, but we needed it for GPS. There is wifi, but it wasnt working. Next time, I will just be prepared and print out any directions to places ahead of time.

We stayed one night at the end of February to check it out and stayed again the end of March for two nights! It is wonderful there. If you are in need of a place designed for a disability, this is it!! FULLY accessible.

Amazing, private, cleaner than most peoples houses!!! We will absolutely stay there again! If you have any form of physical limitation this is the place to go, fully accessible. Did I mention amazing and private??

We love this place! It’s serene, cozy, secluded and rustic but had all the amenities (except a hair dryer) We loved the log cabin look and the knotty pine walls. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

This place blew my mind. It was so serene. This place was more than I expected. Thanks so much! Loved the fact to that I didn't need to bring any kitchen appliances,, towels, so relaxing and stress free. Thanks so much! Price was excellent also. Better than any luxury hotel.

We had a family event near by & this place was perfect (even though its easy to get lost?) We absolutely loved Sunset Pines Resort. Our cabin was amazing. Now that I know it is there? We will definitely be staying there again. Can't wait.

husband loved the cabin! check in was confusing, but once his call was finally returned, the stay was great! we wished we could have stayed there sunday night but we had another reservation with no cancellation. but we will definitely keep sunset at the top of our list for our next trip to the area!!

Very enjoyable and quiet. Nice get away from the family noise. Bed was a little uncomfortable and my husband slept on sofa as we could not get comfortable. Overall though it was a nice place and we would recommend.
