Everything was fine. Friendly folks, easy check in.

Good parking, clean room, good food but the toilet seat was very loose.
We all enjoyed playing darts and a game of pool, would definitely go again.

Very good place and quite!

This is a pub, not a hotel. I do hate writing bad reviews, but Hotels.com keep pressing me for one. Totally clueless staff that could barely book me in to my room - and to have a meal in the bar was to be subjected to about twenty 18-year olds getting absolutely drunk and yelling their heads off as a DJ played on to no one listening.

Fantastic location ,very comfortable bed ,rooms could use a bit of an upgrade but overall Fantastic service
4.0
Food was mediocre, orange juice at breakfast watered down, coffee tasted like cheep instant coffee, room was small and clostraphobic, very very expensive stay in a b&b and breakfast not included. Staff very unfriendly.
6.0
My room wasn’t cleaned. Sheets weren’t changed when I arrived etc, other than that, was a decent stay. Polite staff
8.0
Room and en-suite was too small for the pricey

Staff were brilliant, friendly and very accommodating. Food was great. The room could do with a little maintenance to fixtures and fittings.
5.0
Nice welcome with friendly staff.
Room comfortable.
Dinner good and nicely cooked.
Breakfast good and nicely cooked.
All in all a good stay and I will be using this hotel again.

Hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. I was mis sold a family room for 4 when they don’t have a family room for 4, but staff sorted us out a second room. Sadly that room wasn’t quite up to the standards I’d expect from a hotel; lights not working in bathroom, duvets with no covers and the whole room in need of some TLC and paint. As we had been offered this room as a solution to the misselling problem I didn’t feel it was worth complaining. We were tired and just wanted to sleep. The room I had booked originally wasn’t prepared properly; the toilet was dirty, glasses were left on the floor and again it looked like it needed some TLC. As amazing as the staff were here, I won’t be booking this hotel again if we head south in the future.

On the whole a good trip.

Room was dusty, lots of flies. Rooms were located at the back of the pub, so when people were leaving late at night there was a lot of noise.

Room was great. Bed was very comfy. Staff were very friendly.

Room was very dusty, dust and cobwebs on walls and the bathroom was dirty. Towels and bedding were clean. Staff we not very proactive, certain food not available and very slow to serve us. We had to request toilet rolls and a missing cup, when checking in. The outside rooms attract issues, they was an assault when we were staying and a drunk man in his underwear asking for people to join him?

Comfortable and cosy room in the midst of everything (5 charity shops across the street made us very happy!).. lovely food and friendly staff.

Beautiful old building with loads of character. Wonderful stay

Suitable for a one night stay

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff: they were always helpful and courteous

Bathroom and room not very clean. Cups for tea etc were dusty. Shower wasn’t useable just sprayed out of the bath onto the floor when turned on.
Very noisy until pub music stopped at 11pm.
Staff welcome friendly and located in a good area. Good that parked included.

The classic English inn looking straight out of a novel. This is the kind of a place to stay in to really experience England

The steps up to the room one was unsafe and wobbly the cord for the bathroom dirty and no pull, bin in the toilet had no inside bin, extracter fan not working in bathroom, the small fan was very dusty, the door was rotten, we went down to breakfast Friday morning at 8.57 to be told breakfast finished at 9.00 even though it wasn’t quite 9.00.

Pub and food were fine if tired looking, but the room was small and the bathroom was terrible.

Very helpful staff especially David who went out of his way to look after us after we had problems with our car . He let us keep the room for longer until we were sorted . Great place to stay

We stayed for 4 nights and only got room serviced once. Even with service card on door each day. No soap in dispenser at sink and no dispenser in shower. When we asked they gave us dispensers to fit in bathroom. Very difficult to lock door - need to be superman to lock it. We could not check out at 8.30am as all doors to hotel were locked. Had to put key through letter box

My family and I stayed there for a one night but we all liked the accommodation facilities and how staff were friendly and helpful. We had breakfast there - it was very tasty and great prices. Definitely would stay there again.

Peace and quiet in the area

Great location, friendly staff!

The booked room was dirty, leaking sink, water running across the floor and into the carpet in the hall, fly-specked curtain, mouldy shower-curtain. We were given a better room, but I left with several flea bites. It is a listed important property, but it is not being maintained. I would not recommend it for accommodation.

Staff were efficient. The room was comfortable

Basic room could do with a bit of a freshen up. Bed ok. Shower ok. Not bad for 1 night at the price.
8.0
Handy pub. Area next door needs tidying up and property dated. Bed really comfortable. Would stay again

Stayed in the annex at the back which was clean, quiet, comfortable and good value for money. Plenty of food options at the hotel and around town. A very pleasant stay. Only complaint was room was like a sauna when we arrived and took 1/2 hour with door open in freezing conditions to cool it to a sensible temperature. Staff were helpful and friendly.

At the end of the day all I wanted was a bed for the night and at £40 it was cheapish.
Bed and mattress was very old and uncomfortable.
My room (room 7) faces the rear of the hotel. Very bright security lights are on all night and shine into the room a lot.
Very large amount of mould around windows, stuffy very dusty room.
4.0
Friendly staff and convenient place to stay, but the room condition was extremely poor with flaking paint, water damage marked carpet. It was cheap, but as this a brewery owned pub there is no excuse for room condition
5.0
Friendly staff and reliable accommodation

Stayed here for four nights. Bit of a run down place, could do with a refurb. Staff were really friendly. If your looking for luxury don’t stay here. On the other hand if your a builder and it’s just a bed you need, and hot water perfect. Lots of food places and bars around. Overhall great location.

Lovely stay in Ringwood. Easy parking. Comfy beds & pillows. Very quiet in the annexe. Friendly helpful staff. Could do with a bit of updating particularly bathroom. Shower a bit leaky from head in Room 10
3.0
When we arrived no one was at reception and had to ask at the bar.
No one explained the process for coming back late. Room was ok few cobwebs. However was a bad smell in corridor and mould in bathroom.
Service at bar was slow and staff were inexperienced.
Definitely a locals bar.
Breakfast was good very tasty.
Overall was disappointed from the pictures online.
