What a beautiful experience! Stayed at Majestic Elegance in Cancun last year and we decided to stay at Majestic Mirage in Punta Cana this year. We had an amazing time! Services, food, and unlimited drinks were awesome. It was truly an all-inclusive resort. Our butler, Elvin was super helpful. Everyone was super friendly and nice! The entertainment was superb! I will definitely visit again. Highly recommend

Majestic Mirage made this trip my best vacation so far. They have extremely friendly staff members and there is a lot to eat and drink. A proper definition of all-inclusive.

Our trip was amazing, me and my wife enjoyed the wonderful customer service. And the resort is just beautiful period. We will definitely be back. This resort even gives you your own butler. Amazing

The resort looks and feels amazing. From the moment you walk into the Lobby you think you've arrived at paradise! However, this soon wares off if you are a vegetarian or have any allergies. Food service, both in the buffet and in all a la carte restaurants is terrible. Nothing is labelled and when asking staff, they have no clue how to help you. Menu's have a separate vegetarian and gluten-free section BUT, the items here are not actually gluten-free!
If we hadn't complained and got the attention of senior management we would have suffered and been limited to just salads!
After complaining, senior managers supervised chefs and crafted dishes not on the menu.
Cross contamination is widespread with utensils being used randomly for all foods.
Breakfast omelettes were a minefield with the chef using one spoon to both scoop up ingredients and mix/beat eggs. We had to ask for our omelette to be prepared and cooked separately using different utensils and pan.
There were some great staff members who were super helpful (Ana Maria, Noemi). Most others were only providing service in response to tips.
Butler service was a gimic and ours was pretty useless... they were, again, chasing tips!

A fantastic resort and location and overall a great experience.
A few items which did not detract from the overall experience but could be improved;
1. Our personal butler was not the most attentive and made several errors during our stay, like forgetting to book a dinner reservation that we asked for 3 times and not delivering on a few other service promises. However, each time the error was corrected by another staff member when they became aware of it. So despite some frustration, no damage done.
2. The rooms all seemed to have trouble with the high humidity, i.e. moldy smell and difficulties with condensation. We were given an in-room de-humidifier which helped somewhat but this is probably a bigger issue to be solved.

Please do not book this hotel! We couldn’t find the driver for the hotel’s transportation company at the airport. We tried calling several times, but there was no answer and he wasn’t at the place he told us to meet him. We finally found another driver to take us.
The entrance to the hotel is beautiful, but it is downhill from there. The promised butler service was nonexistent. There were roaches inside and outside. The food at the restaurants and room service was terrible! See picture below. I ordered a beef cheeseburger. I have no idea what they brought.
Please pick a different hotel! The beach and the ocean or perfect, but find a different place to stay.

The bad thing was that they didn't tell us that the hotel was closing during the days of our stay. The butler served us excellently.

The property was preparing to close down for a month for renovations. There was no indication of this before booking. As the week went on the resort slowly started closing things down till the point that only 1 restaurant was open. They expected us to go to the other resorts to eat. Pools and bars closed at 6, zero night life. Our last day at breakfast us and 3 stragglers that weren't moved were at breakfast. Both expedia and the hotel have refused any type of reimbursement which is absolutely crazy. Charging full price per day for a severely limited experience is no different then stealing. Over all the place has potential but the fact that it was closing for a month made the experience and the service terrible. I can't even blame the staff, most of them were getting a chance to go see friends and families because of the month off but it's not hard to belive that being the last 6 days of work they were mostly completely checked out.

We stayed at the Majestic Mirage for 5 nights, and had the best time. The choice of different restaurants and the never ending adult beverages was a highlight of our trip. The staff were great and very friendly. Our butler, Montero, sent us daily information and wA very responsive. The towel attendant, Juan Bernardo, was also a friendly face. He greeted each time we got towels and was so nice to chat with. The staff are exceptional. We also enjoyed the nightly entertainment. Overall our stay was truly a relaxing vacation.

The setup of the dining room was welcoming. Didn’t notice any barrooms. Recommend some soft music in the dining room. Didn’t like that there was not enough vegetables for vegetarians and vegans.

Property was really good, however there was construction going on leading to closure of multiple restaurants and entertainment options. But the good thing is that you can enjoy the sister properties excellence and colonial which are interconnected. The restaurants need to have more variety in their day to day menus.

The Majestic Mirage was beautiful and the staff friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and the beach so gorgeous and relaxing. My room was well kept and my butler Vickianna was so nice and friendly. Noemi was the best as well. I will definitely be returning.

Majestic Mirage was amazing, myself and wife spend our11th wedding anniversary at the resort. We had An amazing time, the staff are very friendly and our butler was awesome !! Well worth going and we will for sure will be going back to Punta Cana !!

The best part of Majestic Mirage was the staff. they were absolutely wonderful.
The rooms are large which was nice but they are not well kept. We had to be switched to another room because of the strong odor of mold.
The food was very mediocre and not reflective of 5 stars.
Our son injured himself in the main pool while playing pool volley. There were shards of tile coming off from the bottom of the pool. He ended up with a 1cm gash on the ball of his foot.
Also, it would have been nice to know ahead of time that there would be construction (started a few days before we departed).
Overall, we had a good vacation but we expected more from a 5 stars luxury property.

Property, rooms, pools and beach were absolutely gorgeous. There were plenty of food options but they were a bit underwhelming and all of the staff were kind and helpful but I don’t feel like there was a lot of personalized care. Went there to celebrate my birthday and even with them fully aware I did not feel special, my boyfriend and friend even ordered a cake and balloons to be brought to the room and nothing ever came. At dinner even with a note on my reservation our dessert came out plain no candle or anything. What I will give them is they put a happy birthday sash on my door. Other than that I had a fantastic trip place is soo clean and beautiful. Expedia was amazing I was able to bundle flight and stay and I also booked all of my transportation and excursions which were awesome and had clear communication it was great!

We stayed as a family for a week at the Majestic Mirage. Our dedicated butler was Bolivar. It was very attentive to all of our needs. He was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable with our stay.
The food at the seaside and steakhouse was the best.
The pools were amazing as well as the beach.
We will definitely be returning in the future.
We hope that we can have Bolivar as our butler again. He provides top notch service.

Hotel , Service & Food were all excellent, however the hotel felt like a building site for the last 2 days as there started to do renovation work .. on the final night we had to go to the neighbouring hotel as all the restaurants were closed .. this did sour what was a very good holiday.

The thing that we most liked and enjoyed was the beach definitely…most disliked was not access to some restaurants, areas, etc because of construction work. Just one pool we could use because the rest of them was adult only. A lot of issues in our room, lights, appliances, security box, etc not working!!.. I hope they fix all this now that they are close for construction

Had a fine stay. Beautiful beach. Nightly entertainment is decent. Wifi was stable throughout the resort including pool and beach areas. No warning that they are currently doing renovations which cut down on dining options and sleeping in. Mirage is geared more towards adults so as a family with kids probably would have stayed elsewhere.

Property was nice, had its own pool area and lots of area to relax
didn't like was that the hotel closed sections and we were never informed, went to dinner one day at main buffet, next day it was closed. VERY POOR COMMUNCATION. if i knew they were doing construction would have not booked that hotel. everyday found a section being closed, no advance notice

I would not return to or recommend Majestic Mirage. The resort was actively under construction with some areas and restaurants closed they day we arrived. They took our money knowing of this pending closure and provided less options than advertised.
Had we known about the closure prior, we would have likely chosen a different location, however, we were not informed until our arrival and had no choice but to stay and receive an inferior experience as a result. There were only a handful of staff that were friendly during our stay, the rest seemed as if they didn't want to be there.
As a result of the state of the resort, we had no access to any food on the last day/night & the beach and pool chairs were already put away so there was nothing for us to do. Our phone for room service and the TV quit working the day before our departure as well.
I reached out to customer service and their response was to explain WHY they were doing renovations and promised a better experience next time - I have no intentions of going back based their lack of transparency on the state of the resort and their poor customer service.

We were very excited for our stay at Majestic Mirage but it was quite unexpected and disappointing to learn that the property would begin to undergo major construction during our stay. I do wish that this was disclosed to us prior to booking. Not only was the yellow construction tape, black fence and tall construction machines unappealing to look at from the beautiful open lobby but what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation was filled with workers breaking tile and using machines at all hours of the day and even into the night at times. The construction also created a major inconvenience in being able to walk to the restaurants and other facilities the resort offered. Instead of being able to directly walk, we were detoured out of the way to walk around the construction. We were also very excited and had paid extra for an ocean view room and was quite disappointed when we looked outside our balcony and it was looking directly into the resort next to us looking at their rooms and pools with what was really a partial ocean view.

The room, pool and beach were amazing. Unfortunately we were not told that there would be lots of construction taking place and that the hotel would be closing down on the day we were to check out. The food was mediocre and the restaurants were out of many things since they would be closing down.
We had to go to the resort Nextdoor in order to see shows and go to a good restaurant.
On our last day they removed all of the beach chairs and the buffet was closed down. Disappointing to put it mildly.

Excellent resort. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The pool area was clean. Our butler Alvarado was amazing. Very attentive, friendly, professional and courteous.

The property was under construction and we were not informed about it. There was noise all the time, machines, workers, and limited access. All the restaurants except one were closed and there was no resolution by the hotel management.

This was my first time staying at an all inclusive and it was everything and more! It was an incredible dream like experience! The staff were incredible and kind and wonderful! My butler was fantastic and super personable! The resort, beach, restaurants and entertainment was top notch! I am definitely going to return! I feel that I was spoiled at the Mirage and other resorts may pale in comparison

Everything was well kept. I left two days before the property were closing for renovations. I hope that it will include more restaurants to have dinner.

This was an amazing experience. My wife and I visited majestic ten years ago and we loved our experience then and definitely did this time. They offer so much more now. We’re already planning a return!

From the check in to check out all the staff are attentive. Our butler (Junior) is awesome. He always makes sure that we are ok. He also surprise us an arrangement in our room. We sure we will come back to Majestic Mirage.
