We came to Ocean Pines with our infant twins and 4.5 year old. Let me start by saying these properties are not infant/toddler friendly as the stairs are treacherous and the railing is very wide. The next thing is the lack of reliability from the front office staff. I had called in advance for an inquiry. No answer and no return call. I called during our stay for house keeping to get necessities, no return call and no house keeping. Lastly, the suite was extremely dirty. There was p**p stains near the toilets, dry wall pealing off the walls, the place was just run down. The pool area was even more gross. We will be looking to stay elsewhere next time as this was just not a great property. One positive was that we were extremely close to the beach, but we struggled with no ramp to get there. Was tall steep steps, which made it hard to carry our infant twins and stuff to enjoy a day at the beach. Overall, disappointing stay. Definitely not worth the money they charge.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a nice condo and just a walk across the parking area to the ocean. The only negative is it had a lot of observable “palmetto bugs” inside the unit.

We stayed for 4 nights, and selected an ocean view room. When we arrived, we were placed in a unit ACROSS the road from the ocean, facing the canal. This was a slap in the face considering the cost. Especially considering that we had to either drive onto the property and hope to find parking to access the beach, or a 20 minute walk with our small child across a busy road. We couldn't even enjoy the balcony we did have, due to the amount of spiders and bugs outside. The balcony was COVERED in webs and spiders galore. The condo is extremely outdated, but that's manageable. The beds having dried blood stains is what really got to us. To top it all off, the cleaners showed up in the middle of our stay, trying to get into the condo! We had a complete invasion of privacy, and I find it completely unprofessional that they weren't communicated to properly, and they thought were were already gone in the middle of our stay. We're extremely disappointed with this stay, and are lucky to have had family staying at the Hampton down the road. We spent majority of our trip at their hotel to avoid the bugs, have convenient beach access, and enjoy amenities without them being outdated.

Had to call the police on other tenants, it was said that the walls are so thin in the building that this is what caused the issue. The building was in poor condition and needing updating, door sticks in laundry room.

Property included lots of activities for families - shuffleboard, table tennis and indoor pool were our favorites. Everything was clean and stocked ( pots, extra bedding) and included free laundry machines!

Very Nice Condo it was staying in Grandpas condo from the 80 s original equipped . Everything worked well very clean and comfy You have to walk across the street to the dock to see the Sun sets. Nice property in the mix of Million dollar homes. Great Manager Very nice property

Our trip was planned a year ago by our 6 year old granddaughter to bring her mom to the outer banks for her birthday. The place we originally rented called the day before we were to go and canceled our reservation for maintenance issues. I scrambled and found Ocean Pines Resort last minute for $300 less than the original place. I was skeptic but as always God is GOOD! Kelsey says be sure to give this place a 5star review. She (and the rest of the family) loved everything about it.

It was ok, after hours check in was not the best, the property itself is a bit outdated but the beach was nearby and private. Stores were kind of close and the area was pretty quiet and serene and I all other guests were very nice as well as the day staff.

We had a fantastic 7 days at Ocean Pines in Duck, NC. We were fortunate enough to be assigned an ocean front top floor 1 bedroom condo so we could enjoy an ocean view. Only building A is ocean front and because of the dunes the ocean can only be enjoyed on the top floor.
The condo is in need of updating but everything was very clean. I found our bed extremely comfortable. We were there the last week in October and although it was overcast and cool most of the week we still enjoyed our stay very much. We found it was close to many things and some great restaurants. We would love to stay here again.

The apartment was very comfortable. It's advertised for 6, but as I was a party of 1, there was plenty of room. Everything was very clean. It was quiet and I felt safe. My room had a deck with an ocean view, and easy access to the ocean. I did go to the hot tub which worked, but could have been hotter (a note on the door said the heater wasn't working). Bring everything you will need as it's a bit of a drive to get anything; not walking distance, though there is a paved bike/hike trail next to the road. Yes, I would stay here again.

This resort is very outdated and underkept. Although it was mostly "clean", many of the fixtures, floors and sinks were rusted and dirty looking, making it feel a little icky. Especially the bathrooms. The property is very old. Decks are dirty and stained. Views aren't good at all, unless you're in the one building on the ocean or the one building on the bay, which I requested and did not get. Our deck looked right onto someone elses deck. No private at all.
All in all, we were comfortable enough, and the people were nice and easy to work with, but will not be staying here again, and would not recommend.

This was my 2nd stay at Ocean Pines and I am just as satisfied as my first visit. Staff was very friendly...corrected an issue with our booking to our advantage! Property was beautiful, clean, well-stocked, and right on the beach!

The view is fantastic. Location very good. Needs upgrades to furniture, bedding and bathrooms. Musty odor mostly downstairs. Pillows unacceptable. Just needs a few more creature comforts such as pillows on the couch. Cushions on the deck furniture. Outdated in many ways. But the view and location were excellent

Walk in the door and from across the room it’s all ocean. Master bedroom, lo and behold another sliding door and guess what! Yup, The ocean was out there too! The ocean front rooms are just that, not a little glint as seen through 2 buildings or if you lean just right, it’s all ocean. The condo was spacious and extremely clean. The buildings are older but the decor has been modernized. Plenty of tools in the kitchen and the furniture is sturdy and unscarred. The grounds are clean with plenty to do onsite and with restaurants a few miles down the road. We would absolutely stay again.

I love Ocean Pines. We had a wonderful time celebrating our five year anniversary and were able to relax. The sound and beach were beautiful. We had every thing we needed at the property and had plenty of space to stretch out. I can’t say enough good things about Ocean Pines. We’ll be back for sure.

Loved the property. We had a short walk to the beach which was very nice. Kitchen was fully equipped with cookware and utensils. Bed were comfortable. The living room couches, not so much. Would have loved an ocean view but it seems only one building is facing the ocean and they may be the one bedroom suites. Playground, indoor pool and tennis courts were great for the kids. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would def go back. Amy at the front is super pleasant as well.

Property looks ok when you arrive but ANTS ANTS EVERWHERE!!!! Very small ants were on coffee table, end tables. Cooking was a nightmare no where to put food while cooking because ants covered the kitchen counter. In master bath was on the toilet which wasn't connected, bolted to the floor and 2 hugh roaches (palmetto bugs)ran across the floor! We experienced a cool tropical storm it sounded like roof was leaking, our next door neighbors said during storm a hidden hole in roof/wall came down a bit, this was a mild storm?
After seeing the place that obviously wasn't maintained properly we werent going to use an other amenities pool etc
Our family has a small beach cottage on Cape cod and it needs yearly maintenance and sometimes more.
The rugs are from 1970 and feel as if they haven't been cleaned since then, of course in nature there are bugs but not everywhere on everything in Property.
So unfortunate the location from beach was good.

The check in was different than I expected. The check in address varied from the actual property on the Expedia site so we went to the wrong place first .Everyone was extra nice and accommodating for our stay. The condo was clean and my family felt very welcome there. I hope to return to Ocean Pines on our next vacation. It was a very laid back check in and out. I was pleased.
