Amazing hotel on the outskirts. The nest public transport system ever in the city. Also, bikes to rent. The nicrst pancakes ever for breakfast. Gorgeous design and snacks for free in bedroom. Good shower. Comfortable bed. Safe and quiet.

Beautiful hotel, very spacious room for European hotel. Complimentary drinks and snacks in room, glass of fizz on arrival. Bit out of the centre but walkable if you like walking and good transport links if not. I honestly couldn’t fault the hotel, one of the nicest I’ve stayed in.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel V, the room we had was luxurious and beautiful, very clean and fresh and the amenities were perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful and for a weekend this is just the optimal range.

Great stay! One of my favorite hotels now. Just far enough from the city you can get a good night's sleep but close enough to walk to and from the train station and metro. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return!

I chose this hotel for it's proximity to Amstel Station. It's a lovely location. The staff were lovely, great communication when I realised we would have to check in after the concert. Room was fab, comfy and airy with great complimentary snacks, water and bath products.

located in the outskirts of Amsterdam, this was a hidden gem. The place is very quiet. our room was in the ground floor and outside our window we had a very natural pond where we saw ducks, herons etc
the room and bathroom zere big. i really liked the interior design

Extremely clean room. Very comfortable and spacious room. Close to tram/metro station.
Little extra details provided (i.e. welcome sparkling wine glass, water "bottles" available every day, daily housekeeping, modern conveniences and decor). Eco-conscious.

The V hotel is another brunch of V hotel in city center in Amsterdam. This brunch is slightly out of Town 6 station far from City center .We have got 4 night without breakfast on this hotel . Very architectural hotel , every thing is design ,Bar, reception, room ,despite no extra services for an this dear money .
Generously Offers us mini bar in Room ,included, 4 bottle of water, 1 pack of Popcorn and 1 mini pack of nuts.
The tea on the room was not variety ,no English breakfast tea, coffee was very ordinary and you need to use 2 capsule to make it min taste.
Free 1 apple and free water on desk next to reception every day.
Very nice looking hotel but i wouldnt choose next time .

I'll firstly say that the free water and snack bar was a lovely treat. But I would rather have a room I paid for. Staff were helpful and friendly. I didn't like the fact i specifically asked for a double bed but it was 2x single beds just pushed together. This was a 40th Birthday treat for my partner. If I knew that the hotel couldn't provide a double bed then i would have booked another room or another hotel. The beds were uncomfortable resulting in not being able to sleep properly. This caused issues with getting up and making the most of our holiday. When i asked the hotel about it they didn't want to do anything about it. I feel it ruined the stay, partially. We also didn't feel the room was as clean as it should be. I spilled some water on the floor so wiped it up, the tissue was black with dirt. There was a terrible smell in the bathroom at different points in the day. Then the windows were being cleaned in the morning which woke me up. I booked a 4* hotel expecting something a little more special and I don't feel hotel v delivered. Aesthetically, the hotel is pleasing to the eye but doesn't deliver on the 4 * aspects.

I stayed at the hotel V for 5 days during a work trip and can’t say enough wonderful things. The staff were incredible, the bar & restaurant were awesome. Great location. I will absolutely stay here again in the future.

This was my fourth stay at a Hotel V, and as good a stay as ever.
4.0
Staff service was superb, food and drinks were amazing and the location to the Amstel Station makes it a very convenient and enjoyable experience to get around. My only complaint is that the beds are way too hard, even after asking for a topper (which they sorted out quickly) the bed was still too hard, leaving for sore backs in the morning. But, if you can see past the bed, it’s a treat to stay in.

Location is far from the center, nothing happening there. Heating is not sufficient in the winter, cold room. Once you switch off the aircon, the heating radiator in the room switches off as well, as they are connected. Useless. Bed is rather hard, they offer toppers but took two days to get it. You can not use your laptop in the dinner area, what a joke! Design is cool boho style, it’s a refitted office building. Rooms were clean. Food is good. Staff is completely lacking empathy, no interest to make customers happy or meet your wishes.

Unfortunately the shower was dreadful! Apart from that, the hotel was spot on.

very pleasant hotel out of the centre of city and away from tourist crowd. Classic '70s building looking a little battered in places but comfortable. The rooms are large with plenty of window which also means they could be a little chilly in November and possibly hot in summer. The climate control was also dated. Pleasant helpful staff fixed coffee machine when we moaned about it. Good but pricey restaurant. Breakfast is a la carte but not a buffet.

I have to say I was surprised by this hotel. One of the best I've stayed in Amsterdam for the price. The staff are super friendly. Rooms are nice design and large. And the lobby bar and restaurant is great. It's our of the centre sonmau not appeal to first timers. But it's a quiet residential neighbourhood a five minute walk to metro and train station and still a nice walk or bike ride into the centre. And lots of other shops and restaurant options within a 10 to 15 minute walk. Will stay again.

Room was clean and spacious. My second time staying here because I love the location and the hotel vibes. Breakfast is also very good. Only criticism is some bits around the room needs a little maintenance, especially in the shower room. It didn’t bother me as it was still 4 stars+ standard, but it bothered the husband as it wasn’t a cheap stay. I’d personally stay here again though :)

Great hotel. Couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating every time we asked for something. Clean room, great toiletries and free drinks and snacks. If you pushed for a negative, which there really aren’t any, it’s a little distance from the centre, but the metro, or a bike, make a relatively quick trip. Thanks to Hotel V for a great stay.

Excellent!

Stayed here for several nights while working at the RAI Congress Centre. A short walk to the end of the road and then 3 stops on the Metro so very convenient. Having worked at the RAI quite a few times, I wanted to stay fairly local rather than the city centre. A bit too far to walk every day, but the public transport is fine - until they have a problem and you can't work out the alternative. And then there's Uber, of course!
Hotel in a suburban setting, but plenty of places to eat around the station area. Hotel restaurant is lovely though, as is the bar area. Very comfortable, Nordic style. I only had time for breakfast one morning as it is a la carte, not buffet, but it was very tasty. Loved that there were freebies in the room (who doesn't?!), bottles of water and apples in reception too. Comfortable room and bed. Will definitely stay again if opportunity arises.
