Beautiful, large, airy new rooms. Wonderfully hospitable staff. Attentive to your needs in advance of your arrival. This property is right by the cliff walk where you can watch for whales. You can grab an afternoon bite and cocktails at a popular bar bayside across the street. Center of town is about 1/2 mile away.

The Hotel claims for himself to be a five star hotel, but in this time it could be only three stars, the Hotel is under Renovation, it smells on cement ,many things are not working, in the morning it is noisy, because the handcraftsmen start with theire work.

A gem of a hotel —elegant, comfortable rooms with glorious ocean views. The breakfast are huge and delicious. But what makes the hotel are the staff members . I’ve never been at a hotel were the staff felt like friends who joked with us and cheerfully anticipated our every need. One evening my husband didn’t feel like eating out, so we got some take out from a local restaurant. When they saw us arrive with it, the staff immediately got plates and cutlery and glasses for us and set us up in the pretty garden. We didn’t want to leave this haven .

Loved my stay at this hotel. The staff were all lovely and very friendly. The rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and made to your preference. The location was great with the cliff walk directly opposite the hotel and it was a quick walk to many great restaurants. Parking was also secure and safe. Would highly recommend.

This B&B is top for whale watching. Just great! Delicious breakfast and extra ordinary service. Staff is extremely attentive and kind. We saw whales from our balcony. Pool very clean. Just cross the street and you will find yourself on clip walk. We definitely will come back.

We stayed overnight in Hermanus en route to shark diving in Gansbaai. The property is very attractive. Our sea view room was large, clean and stylish, with many extra amenities such as a heated towel rack and bath robes. The hotel staff is notably professional and amazing, going out of the way to be friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff greeted us at the gate of the parking lot. This was a very quaint, friendly, fresh and clean boutique hotel. The morning breakfast was a great way to start the day. Across the street is Fick’s Pool which had a very beautiful restaurant with great food and beautiful scenery. It was a great experience all around.

Hotel is really well located, close to the beautiful trail overlooking the ocean, plus its walking distance to the lovely city center that has lots of restaurants. The view from the room was stunning. The hotel offers nice ammenities in each floor such as coffee, tea, a small fridge, etc. The room was spacious and very clean.

We had a wonderful 2 night trip to Hermanus, and our lodging at One Marine Drive certainly made the trip special. Very welcoming staff who gave some great recommendations where to eat and what to do while in Hermanus. The hotel is located within a short walk to town and across the street from the entrance to to the cliff edge trail which is fantastic place to spend a few hours each morning. Most of the rooms have an incredible view of the coast and the balcony is a wonderful place to spend time reading and hanging out. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Really nice and new amenities, large clear TV, good internet, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, etc though there was so much to do around Hermanus we didn't spend much time in the room itself. We will definitely stay at this room again in the future, and I can recommend to anyone visiting Hermanus.

An absolutely fantastic hotel on the seafront at Hermanus. We had one of the sea-facing rooms, which was spacious, spotlessly clean, had a balcony with a sweeping view of the spectacular coast, and was tastefully decorated with a high quality finish (large walk in shower but no bath). There were thoughtful touches like a welcoming drink, complimentary coffee, biscuits and Amarula, a complimentary mobile phone to book restaurants or taxis, and an iPad in the room. The staff were first class - exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful but never ‘in your face’. There is secure parking, a small pool area, and a fire to sit by if the weather is cold. Breakfast was excellent with a full cooked breakfast and a buffet of fresh fruit, cereal and pastries available. The cliff top walk is across the road and the centre of town with a number of restaurants and shops is about 5-10 minutes walk away. First class; I wish we could have stayed longer.

We absolutely loved this accommodation! We had booked the pool view room, however, upon arrival we were offered an upgrade (at no additional charge) to a room with an outside courtyard with ocean views. The bar / lounge area was perfect for a nightcap, and the breakfast was great. There's also a lovely quiet area with mountain views on the upper level, with a large comfy day bed to rest and relax. We would highly recommend this property.

I loved that this was a smaller property which had a large focus on customer service and creating a warm and relaxing experience. The property is vibrant without being loud, and close to the water and beaches without being in the heart of the town. This is the gem of Hermanus that is a must for any visitor truly wanting to get away from it all and just relax. The staff is what makes this property a gem. Smiling and caring people who take a genuine interest in your stay and are always ready and enthusiastic to make it a relaxing and memorable experience!

Room small but fine for our one night stop off. Greeted with coffee and complimentary wine was available in fridge close by. Very well thought out including sockets with usb and built in international plug adaptors. Great walkin shower. Breastfast was good. Short cliff path walk to Hermanus and the hotel recommended and booked us a restaurant for the evening. Cliffwalk just outside hotel and nice to walk along looking out over the ocean.
