This was my first time to Colorado, and it couldn’t have been a better trip. The cabin felt secluded but not isolated. It was just outside of town and very convenient to run back to from hiking or shopping. Surrounded by gorgeous views with all the amenities we needed and more. The owners were quick to respond and easy to communicate with and really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and having a good trip.

We really enjoyed staying here! It was very comfortable and perfect for our group of four. The place is private and tucked in the woods but still very close to nearby towns as well as hiking and outdoor activities. The hot tub was a great way to unwind in the evening.

Beautiful home with hot tub, perfect for the cold Colorado nights. This space had all the amenities you could need and is right off the main road and very easy to find. Katie was great with communication and we throughly enjoyed our stay. So cozy and close to Breck, we would love to stay again and highly recommend!

It was a well kept cabin with everything we needed. The manager was very accessible and responded quickly. It was close enough to town but still felt private. Baby gate for the stairs was provided which was a bonus!

This was the perfect place to stay for our 4 day vacation. It is a 5 minute drive to Breckinridge and also within 10 minutes of the Hoosier Pass Trail, which has amazing views. The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We felt like we were at home. The hot tub is a nice feature as well. A great way to wind down the day. Katie is a great host and had quick response time with any questions we had.

We stayed at the cabin for a little summer vacation trip. Check in process was super easy and the host was very accommodating. The thing that really struck me versus other places I have stayed was the kitchen. It was VERY well equipped with about every houseware you could need for cooking meals. I cooked big breakfasts every morning & if I were a better cook we may have eaten in every night as well. The location is great - quick 5 min drive to Main Street in Breck. We had a great time and I would return again.

My wife and I can't here from Missouri for our 7th wedding anniversary. We usually hit a beach destination but decided to try something different. We're SO glad we went with Sunny Slope! Not only is the property gorgeous and the owners very responsive, but the vibe and proximity to downtown Breck is perfect. We had the idealistic opportunity to sit in the hot tub while it was snowing and shortly after a Moose and her calf walked right by the hot tub and passed the gigantic kitchen window (which we were at snapping pictures from the inside).
So cozy and charming and a lot of bang for the buck! Do not hesitate to reach out and book an experience at Sunny Slope!

Overall happy with our stay at this location. We were a group of 7 and had plenty of space. Great hot tub outside which was a nice bonus and a quick ~10 minute drive to downtown Breckenridge. The only complaint was around the cleanliness of one bathroom which the property manager addressed quickly - which was very much appreciated.

The location is the perfect mix of being secluded yet close to Breck. It's cozy, clean and sitting in the hot tub after a day of being on the mountain is really what shines about this property, it's so serene and just steps from the back door. The kitchen is well-stocked with every appliance and utensil you'd you'll need, although we did pick up a few spices (only salt and pepper were provided) but that's no biggie. Many have noted lack of closets but we didn't have any issues with that, just used the nooks in the bedrooms, as well as the dressers and the hanging apparatus in the main bedroom. The entry provided enough space for gear as well as the locker on the front porch if you need it. The beds are comfortable and they provide plenty of towels. It's a great little spot, we'll definitely be back. There is plenty of room for a family of six, not sure how much more I'd want than that but you could make it work. Also, the fireplace is great in the main room, as well as the one in the kitchen. It was a comfortable temp the whole time we were there, although it can get warm upstairs at night if you're running both throughout the day/evening so you might want to turn off the fireplace an hour or two before bed.

The mountain home is just as it appears in pictures. It was clean and checking in was easy. Communication with property manager was great. We loved the house, the only problem we had was the water went out the last night we were there. So we were unable to shower the morning we left, and it made using the bathroom difficult as we melted snow to flush the toilet. However, the property manager was quick to assist and contact the appropriate people, it just wasn’t able to be fixed prior to our departure. As long as the water line gets fixed I would recommend staying at this place in the future.

This was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to have a good time in the mountains! The pictures do not do the home justice and the host communicated very well on the property!

CONS:
Entry into house- extremely extremely tight. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with uncomfortable layouts. ZERO CLOSETS. Despite 2 small dressers, the ski clothes you end up putting them in the floor, no place to hang them. Bathroom on the 1st floor: the tub has 2 curtains that you must put all around the tub so water doesn't leak out, never seen this before, very uncomfortable to shower. The property manager and I texted on my arrival because I was never given the combination to the storage bin (for ski, snowboards,..) outside, she told me that she'll get it for me the next day. Next day came and went. I text her again, no response. The old clothes drier takes very long to dry (towels take over 2 hours), TV connections have a delay. It doesn't matter what you're watching whether it's cable, local news, Netflix... very annoying. NOT Enough bedsheets (they had extra twin sheets for full size beds), NO COMFORTERS.
PROS: Any yes there are PROS.
The drive into the cabin was peaceful and beautiful. 1st floor is cozy, great kitchen with incredible view of the woods. Animal tracks (moose, deer, rabbits, coyotes..) all throughout the snow. They must come out at night. My wife saw a moose, I missed it, 😞. Living room is cozy, with fireplace. Had that rustic cabin feel. The jacuzzi was so relaxing and peaceful. It was definitely the highlight everyday after long days of skiing. I wish I could submit pictures on the reviews. Great cabin for a small family, otherwise, it's too uncomfortable and unrealistic.

Absolutely perfect for our family of 5! Cozy, clean & adorable cabin. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, yet close to all the ski resorts! We had complete privacy while in the house or in the hot-tub (which was fantastic after a long day of skiing). It seemed like a safer option than a condo during the pandemic. We would rent this again in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay. We loved the privacy of the property, the huge trees, the well stocked kitchen cookware, the hot tub, and that the property is dog friendly. We did not get to use the fire pit, the grill, or the cornhole set due to the weather/amount of snowfall during our stay, but hopefully next time! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This was the perfect getaway spot for my partner and I. We completely lucked out that it snowed just days before we got there. The house was like a winter wonderland! We loved the huge kitchen and the multiple fireplaces to stay cozy, and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. The house is beautifully updated, warm and cozy and ideally located- off the beaten path but so close to Breck you want for nothing!

We love the area this cabin was in, enoyed our stay!
