David the concierge was fantastic. Dropped my car off and picked my car up for me on the street. The TV in the room was old and hard to navigate. The rooms are quite dated, Super hard to get the thermostats to work and the hotel is under construction in the lobby.

food in the concierge lounge was great. worth the extra cost for the convenience of location to Mayo Clinic and the ease of meals across the hall.

The staff here is outstanding and the rooms are spacious, updated and clean. This is my second time staying and I’ll come back again if I’m in town.

The staff was outstanding. Shane in particular (although all other interactions were very positive) worked to understand our needs and met or exceeded the support expected. Really an unusual and very positive experience. So close to all the Mayo service nearby. Will stay here again when we are in town (lots of great treats/drinks/extras too)!

This place was amazing. The staff though were above and beyond. Truly what customer service should be about.

This was the best experience I’ve had at a hotel. The tower staff was incredible and so helpful and kind. WONDERFUL experience. Definitely 5 star!!

The top two floors are a concierge level. I am not sure if the much higher price is justified. Yes, there was a lounge with a complimentary food and very helpful concierges. But I don't know if the room size or furnishings were any different.

Wonderful experience. My wife and I were in town for a graduation on Saturday and thought we would make it special. We planned to drive down from Minneapolis on Friday afternoon. Friday morning I received a very friendly call from Cameron, our concierge, confirming our stay and asking if we needed anything. I asked about dinner recommendations and she suggested Tersa Ristorante and made the reservation for us. She then gave me the cell number and told me David would be there to take care of us when we arrived. He sure did. He took care of the car, brought up our bags and was very friendly and helpful. He even walked us down the skyway to help us find the restaurant. The food and service at Tersa was wonderful. Highly recommend it.
The room was very comfortable and the king sized bed was great. Often when I sleep in hotels, even nice ones, I wake up with s stiff neck. Not here. I slept well and woke up refreshed.
In the morning we had a very nice breakfast in our room (included in the room price) and Cameron was there and very attentive. She even met us at the car and personally thanked us for staying with them.
A wonderful stay. The price was higher than other hotels I looked at but for a romantic evening and overnight stay with my wife it was worth the extra. David and Cameron took excellent care of us and that made our stay special. Thank you both.
We highly recommend the Towers at the Kahler Grand.

My stay was amazing. I checked in after my surgery at Mayo clinic. We received the best service. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during my stay.

Inflexibility of Expedia communications; direct connenctions with the hotel are excellent.

I stayed at the Towers at the Kahler Grand. The food and service in the penthouse lounge are very good. The hotel is connected by underground walkway called the "subway" to the Mayo Clinic. The rooms are comfortable and reasonably priced on Hotels'com given the availability of very good food for breakfast, lunch and diner in the lounge. Food and drinks are FREE in the lounge! The chief concierge in the executive lounge is very knowledgeable and helpful. You will not be disappointed if you stay at the Towers at the kahler Grand.

I stayed at the Towers at Kahler Grand Hotel for a week-long schedule of consultations and tests at Mayo Clinic. My friend and I were completely satisfied with the service, comfort, cleanliness, and location of this hotel. We would definitely stay there again.

We chose to stay here because of its proximity to Mayo Clinic where we were dealing with some health issues. The Hotel is literally connected to The Clinic by skyway or just across the street if you want to go via the outdoor route.
The hotel itself has a classic old school feels and was very comfortable. In fact their beds were more comfortable than most other hotels I’ve been at.
As if those weren’t enough positives already, the staff were amazing. They went above and beyond at every turn; from just always smiling and pointing the way to even going to a connected garage and picking up our car for us. We’d wanted to valet it but couldn’t find the main entrance initially since they had a couple of different entrances at the street level. The reason for this is that we didn’t want to walk all the way to the parking lot after dealing with the medical interventions coming up. So they went to that garage and picked it up and placed it with their valet instead. Oh and valet service is free with them.
Now I should note we stayed at ‘The Towers’ part of the hotel which is their “VIP” section but we’ve stayed at high end hotels before many times before and NEVER received this service. There’s more but I’m running out of space to type :-)
If you’re in Rochester to be seen at Mayo Clinic or otherwise you definitely won’t go wrong staying here!

The Towers at Kahler is always quiet at night for good sleep, which I like when I am there to go to the Mayo Clinic. I like the Towers because of the executive lounge, which has tasty and healthy food from breakfast until dinner, as well as snacks and drinks 24/7.

We usually stay club level at the Marriott when we are in Rochester, but decided to try The Kayler Tower Hotel for our current trip. We loved it and this will be our new place to stay. The Kayler Tower hotel is beautiful and the club far exceeded our expectations. The club level staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

This was my first stay here and it was exceptional! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The room was warm, inviting, and comfortable. The linens were soft and cozy. The complementary breakfast was vast and very well done. The yogurt even had s fresh strawberry puree blended into it. Every last detail, down to the fresh flowers in our room, were noticed and perfect! Thank you for the outstanding hospitality.

I have stayed at the Kahler Grand several times while visiting the Mayo Clinic. The staff is very welcoming and the Executive King Room wonderful. I have been curious about the Towers; I had appointments at the Mayo Clinic in early January and found a great rate on Expedia for the Towers. We checked in at the front desk of the Grand but there was confusion over our reservation. When our reservation was located, we were told we had to wait for the Towers concierge to come to the Kahler Grand Lobby to take us to our room in the Towers. After traveling all day and wanted to rest before early appointments at the Mayo Clinic, I did not want to wait. After lengthy discussion, the bellman was permitted to show us our room. The room was fine; the fresh flowers on the table were a nice touch. There was no shampoo included among the amenities in the bathroom but there was conditioner! Yes, I could call and request shampoo but I really expect that a luxury hotel would pay attention to such detail. My experience was a curious mix of attempts to create a luxurious environment with elements lacking to actually provide a guest with such an environment. Examples include the insistence of a concierge escort to ones room, not including shampoo in the bathroom; not providing enough toilet paper for a three-night stay; not providing easy access to a printer. There was virtually no drawer space....we had to use the closet shelf for our folded clothing.

Top floors of the Kahler Grand Hotel located next to the Mayo Clinic with service to be applauded. The reception was spoiling, to say the least - VERY attentive! The textiles (towels, pillows, blankets) were DIVINE, The breakfast in the morning was AMAZING. Smoked salmon, darling cups of yogurt, LOVELY! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I like old, grand hotels. The top two floors of this hotel are like that. The day concierge was nice, and she was helpful and friendly. The night concierge was not helpful, and was in a hurry. I would stay there again because I prefer that old style room and hote to the newer, nice Marrit and Days Inn.
