Very good value for money. Comfortable bed and lovely hot water and good shower.

Room I was given was at entrance and almost no soundproof to people smoking outside talking and when people were entering/walking in with luggage on wheels the sound on the even floors were very noisy.
Room in need of upgrade very tacky and old decor.

Rooms are clean, comfortable and good size for staying overnight. Easy to get to and quiet location. We ate dinner in the restaurant. We were able to check out at 3am to get to the airport.

Nice location
The room was advertised as a family room, the sofa bed did not extend fully out, no bedding provided. I messaged the hotel back in Jan about an early check in, no reply. I then tried to keep calling and was never able to get through, tried to leave an answerphone message and it would hang the call up. After finally managing to agree an early checkin for 12pm as we had a wedding at 1pm so we needed to quickly change, we was advised that the room was not ready and was told we could use the bar toilets to change. All in all not a great experience, I would not recommend.

we only met one member of staff who was very polite and pleasant
The fire alarm went of at around 1-2 am, we left our room only to be told by another guest there was a fault in the fire alarm.
it was not pleasant to be woken up for no reason, apparently it went off twice the night before.

Lovely place. Food good. No problems there. TV didn't work properly so they moved us to another room. The centre light kept flickering on and off. We tolerated it. However the road noise was unbearable. We had been on the move since 6am and tired but at 10.20 pm we acknowledged that there was no chance of any sleep and to leave. Shame.. lovely place.. great for food... impossible for rest
Window insulation. Also my meal was missing two items that were on the menu. Was really looking forward to it but disappointed that those ingredients were not on my plate

The food was good value for money. It was nicely cooked and good sized portions.
TV in room was broken which was reported to reception they already knew and informed us a new TV was on order.
Toliet seat insecure.
Cleanless not 100%.Bedding stained.
Lack of plugs in room.
Furniture in room damaged in places.
At breakfast we were shown to our table and waited and waited to be served in the end had to ask for hot drinks.

bar was ok
arrived after late evening after booking a family room to be given a double, for a staff member to argue saying we should of let her know we booked a family room, room was dated and tatty and the family room actually means a double bed with a pull out sofa bed which looked as if it was falling apart, and I would not of let my dog sleep on it, breakfast which was a extra was well awful save your money and get a dried up sandwich from the service station as it would be more enjoyable.

location
Staff not attentive. left waiting too long to check in. we made our way to the bar for a drink with all luggage and was told we shouldn’t bring luggage. explained situation and they let us stay with luggage while we had a drink. rooms - run down. loose tiles in bathroom, hanging mould on bath tap where water come out. Mould on outer inner wall at the side of the bed and window frame. toilet blocked, not only in my room but also in mothers room, which caused so much anxiety especially for my mum as this blocked late at night and she was unable to use toilet through the night. very Sad to say following our visit we will not be returning until a serious make over of rooms is completed

It was a lovely place to stay relaxing and friendly staff made our break a lovely experience. I didn't see any name badges so I can't name the staff in particular. All round a positive experience was enjoyed by my husband and I
Our stay was to short wish we booked for longer

Lovely old building and pleasant staff, really good value for money, thanks.
Floorboards and doors a bit creaky but minimal comings and goings in the night.

Location was great for the wedding we were attending.
The staff were really good and helpful.
The hotel was OK, we stayed there for a wedding. Rooms were a bit dated but fine for what we need.
The breakfast was nice when it finally arrived.
Only issued was it took 40mins from ordering to getting it.
It did the job for what we needed.

The room was clean & well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, a hair drier & an iron.
Staff were helpful, polite & friendly.
Water pressure was very low so the shower was very slow & weak. Toilet cistern was also very slow to fill up & flush.
Very noisy at night - noise from other guests returning to the hotel at midnight woke us up. They were shouting, laughing & singing loudly in the corridor outside our room for about 20 minutes. Noise from the room above at 7.00am the next morning too.
Mattress on double bed was sagging & not very comfortable.

This was our second stay at the Millers Hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful, the room we had was a little on the small side but comfortable and clean. Nice white fluffy towels and tea and coffee making facilities. Hairdryer supplied. Parking is easy and plentiful and right outside the rear of the hotel with easy access carry any luggage. There is a good choice at breakfast, we had the full english, meat and vegetarian option which was large and very nice.
Incredibly good value for money.
There was very poor wifi and although an option is given to sign up to a cloud both myself and my husband couldn't get an internet connection. Not too much of a problem for an overnight stay but any longer could be an issue. There is a restaurant at the hotel, and we did have an evening meal the night we arrived, however, sadly all sunday roasts had been sold out and so we were left with the Sunday Menu, unfortunately we both felt the meals were sadly lacking in taste, cooking and presentation. Although we would happily stay again I think we would think twice about eating in the restaurant.

Quaint traditional building. Nice layout of rooms. Comfortable bar area. Good service on weekdays. Room comfortable. Breakfast really good and dinner good for 'chain' hotel. Pictures on display showed village scenes.
Bathroom very dated and water pressure very poor - could not use shower and wc cistern took 10 mins to refill. Decor dated in many parts of hotel. Service on Sunday disappointing - seated in middle of otherwise empty restaurant room when snug bar had space, and table surface was sticky. Hotel lacked mobile phone signals - not a big problem but would have preferred being told before check-in.
