We had the best time on our honeymoon. Incredibly quiet, relaxing, and comfortable. It was exactly as advertised. We will be coming back!

Thoroughly enjoyed "glamping " as part of our Zion experience. Under Canvas Zion is 25-30 minutes further from the Springdale park entrance but offers another viewpoint. The tents are comfortable and well equipped. I thought the "star gazer" upgrade was worth it- each night I looked up and saw a sky full of stars
4.7
Extremely amazing experience! From the time we checked in to we checked out the was the best.
4.7
I stayed solo with my Golden Retriever and I felt completely safe here. The other guests and staff were very friendly. The view from my tent was jaw-dropping!!!
Under Canvas offered many interesting activities and the food is local, healthy and absolutely delicious. I will definitely come back with my husband and friends and I also plan to try other Under Canvas sites. I'm sold! NOTE: dogs aren't allowed in Zion National Park, which I knew.

We stayed one night and wish we could’ve stayed more! We are definitely going to all their locations!

We are visiting four national parks in this trip. Wanted a place away from the busy area. This stay is amazing . A great place to recharge and relax. So fun and different.
4.7
Beautiful surprise, natural environment but with conveniences. Glamping at its best

Best place to stay! Jenny helped us plan two perfect days!!

Great place to stay

Wonderful experience under the stars. Our tent was spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this unique experience.

We had the best time at under canvas. Our tent had an amazing view and had all we needed. Was glamping at its best! The food was amazing and the staff were all so kind. We joked they were trained by chic filet because of their politeness. Thank you

Amazing stay. Nothing wrong to say about the hotel
Of the summer heat. It was impossible to be there during the day !!
Very hot at night as well.
I would definitely try to stay in a hotel like this, but never in the summer again

Ideal for disconnecting.

It was beautiful! We got really hot because our visit was in the middle of a heatwave but we still loved our stay here.
4.7
We had a fantastic stay. We loved the mix between pure nature and luxury tents.
4.7
The view is amazing, they even had live music at night time. Great customer service. The only thing I do not recommend people to come during the summer time because is super super hot but No AC. We barely sleep at night time cause is super hot at July.
4.7
Great location and staff
4.7
This is a place for quiet and very peaceful place for family vacation. Guests are very cooperative, quiet and turn down the Lenten after 10 pm. No food and drink inside the tents. Dinning area is open for guests until 10 pm but you can use the dining area after 10 pm but quiet and cleaning after meal. Absolutely recommend this place for family vacation.

Everything was wonderful from the food, tents, staff and especially the views! Would highly recommend! Thanks for creating a core memory for us!
4.7
Loud guests arrived late at night. Not the hotel’s fault but led to a long sleepless night. Food was not great. Fantastic location!

Would not recommend! I booked this for my honeymoon today 6/21. Glamping not roughing it looks like it’s nice. Well 3 days before we arrive we are emailed from the manager via Expedia that there is no electricity and everything is ran off a battery. Battery is first come first serve basis. It’s 103 out here today. Due to medical reasons this ended up not being something that would work for us. The cancellation policy expired a while ago and we were only notified 3 days prior to that there is no electricity. Now I’m out 750$ because we spend $500 to stay here had to cancel last minute and book a different hotel and they are refusing to give a refund. No where on any of the booking sites does it say NO ELECTRICITY.
Absolutely ridiculous of this place to hide those facts until 3 days before.

Great experience!

This is a very good place to stay near by Zion, the staff are amazing and everything works peacefully

Bed: the king size bed is comfortable
Pillows: comfortable
Food: no.value for money. I ordered an arugula salad. It was greens, some feta, a few nuts.
When we visited it was EXTREMELY hot, The temperature was 100°F during the day. The fans provided are ridiculously small; about eight inches across. I understand that the complex/company is environmentally conscious. But it is unrealistic to have guests sleep in tents which are as hot as saunas. And only provide fans designed for a desk. Which lose power throughout the night. If you need it to be cool to sleep perhaps visit in the fall. But stay away during the summer. We had paid for a two night stay. We only stayed one night. Glamping is not for us.

This was my first stay at an Under Canvas property and it was lovely. The tents are generous with space, and ours had a bath/shower inside. The location (on the back side of Zion National Park) was excellent, a short drive to many parts of the park and only 30 minutes from the 'main' west gate. The elevation means that it's hot during the summer - but thanks to the staff we were able to escape the heat some by driving up in elevation to a near-by reservoir. The restaurant offers good, mostly healthy *but not too health* options (yay) that were varied enough for our two night stay. We wished they had better star gazing seating (chairs that go all the way to almost a lying down position) since it's a dark sky park as we didn't want to lie on the ground. This is truly off grid (powered by solar) and you should expect to have lanterns inside but no bright lights in your tent and only warm water (the sun bakes the tanks) in the summer. As one expects, tents don't keep the dust out, but the furnishings inside are comfortable. Their offered excursions are on the very pricy side compared to what you can get from other vendors in the region, so we didn't opt for that, but the staff sure are knowledgable and lovely.

Such a unique experience. Loved the tent, felt like getting back to nature by camping in an upgraded way. Food was quick and delicious!

Between camping on your own and glamping. The food and entertainment were great! The staff was great but Rebecca was THE bomb!!

Overall it’s a cool, clean place with good Mountain View’s however there’s a few things I didn’t like. I understand it’s a tent and there’s no ac but if I’m paying around 600 bucks for a tent that has a toilet and a shower why not put in a fridge? On hot days you wish you’d have something cold to drink right there on the spot. Second thing is the gaps in each corner. I came to the tent having little lizards running around the tent. No big deal but there rattle snakes and scorpions in that area as well. I would love to come back and experience this magical place again but maybe in fall or spring.

Absolutely incredible time! From check in to check out everything was seamless! Such a peaceful Place, great food on site and clean!

Unbelievable place!

Under Canvas is a unique experience. This is our second stay at one of their properties and we really enjoyed it. Minor issue with the tent the first evening but it was fixed immediately. Staff is very friendly. Beds are comfortable and the Views are incredible!
4.7
This place is even better than the pictures. Was more magical than I had even hoped and the staff was what I would have expected at a four star resort.
I hated to leave but will be returning for sure. It is now on my very short list of happy places.
4.7
The tent was cold and not well insulated
4.7
We loved under Cancas. Great staff. Everyone was very friendly. A great experience. Would definitely stay again
4.7
Amazing place for someone to peacefully enjoy the nature at its full potential with minmalisti. Comforts.
4.7
This is a beautiful place. The staff was kind and helpful. Would highly recommend this experience.
4.7
Very comfortable bed. We had a shower in ours so that was really nice. Need more efficient wood stoves. They can be difficult to keep from smoking up the tent, which is highly unpleasant.
The views from our porch were beautiful as well as the night sky…full of stars.
4.7
The night sky was beautiful and the staff were amazing. I highly recommend!
4.7
Fun novelty experience. Wish coffee could be delivered to tent

We stayed at under canvas for 3 nights while visiting Zion, overall our experience was great! The staff is extremely welcoming, friendly, and checks in with you throughout your stay. Despite being out in the middle of nature, we did not have any issues with bugs/snakes/scorpions etc. The room was clean, spacious, bed and linens very comfortable. We loved spending the evenings outside watching the sun go down and making complimentary S’mores by the fire. The stargazer tent was very cool, almost made it harder to go to sleep at night because we didn’t want to stop looking.
First and foremost, if you cannot handle fluctuating temperatures without control of a thermostat, don’t even waste your time. Mid day does get pretty warm in the tent even if it’s just in the 70s and although nighttime temps were in the 40s/50s it was very cold in the tent come morning. The small wood stove in the room burns out every 1.5 hrs and you can’t adjust the air flow without the fire going out.
Biggest negative for us was the food, I would highly suggest eating dinner elsewhere before going back to the tent for the night. Whatever the protein was in our dishes was never hot enough (one exception was the burger which was decent). It felt like they used pre made/inexpensive items to create dishes that sound elevated so they can charge you more. For example, the fried chicken in the “fried chicken sandwich” was two cold chicken tenders.
Overall would recommend, definitely unforgettable.
