Great report for families. Rooms clean and comfortable. Beach was spectacular with plenty of activities. Food was good and great to be able to go to restaurants at sister hotel.

The place is great and the staff very friendly.

Our party consisted of five people who stayed at Royal Cancun All Villas. We stayed in a spacious condo-style apartment with a pool view and swim-up bar. The room was perfect for our group and small child. When we arrived, we were greeted by a concierge who took us to our room and answered questions about the resort, activities, and food options. She was very friendly, but the only downside was she tried to give a 90-minute speech regarding their timeshare. We were not interested in that offer. The beach area is very nice, and my husband and I saw a huge starfish, sting ray, and blowfish while we swam. The food is mediocre at best, but it is to be expected at an all-inclusive resort. We tried the two restaurants at this resort and took the twenty-minute shuttle to the sister resort, Royal Sands, and the food wasn't much better at their restaurants (it lacked flavor, and the steaks were not good - way overcooked). However, the view at the sister resort is breathtaking, and the resort is a bit livelier for the younger crowd. As far as drinks, most tasted good. Some staff were friendly, but most were standoffish and not very friendly. One member laughed to a co-worker that he was given two dollars as a drink tip. This resort has pros and cons, but overall, we enjoyed our time at Royal Cancun.

The locations and the amenities of the hotel is good. There is not much choice of restaurant in the property alone, however the Italian restaurant was great. One of the good things about this property is that you can also shared the facilities and restaurants in another sister hotel called Royal Sands. The pool, beach and the restaurants are much better. You can also reserve the dinner show in the Grand Salon which was marvelous. One thing I do not like about Royal Cancun All Villas is the waiter would ask for tips before they serve you.
4.0
Pros- The property was small and everything was close and within a quick walk. The time of year helped that it wasn't full which made it easy to get chairs by the pool and last minute restaurant reservations.
Con- They have sales folks harassing you for a 90 minute talk in selling you a vacation club membership. I vacation a-lot and always dread going to Cancun for that reason. I paid my trip in full to not be bothered with using my time for anything other than my family and vacation. Hate it!

The people who clean or help with luggage are awesome. The bar tender should be fired very rude.

I paid for all inclusive . And still ended up paying resorts fees that apparently were not including in price. To all locations , restaurants , bars transport. Room key was required even when already using bracelets . There were no formal dinning rooms at resort had to travel to sister resort in order to have formal dinning. At arrival the staff was so busy providing information on time share option they didn’t explain that sister resort was accessible as well. The overall resort is nice but waiters were unfriendly. No activities for night, pool, beach at all. Pool bar didn’t open till 11am .

The staff was great. The food was very very good. Lacked music and or entertainment. Was very quiet. After every meal we had to sign (not a bill, but I guess a confirmation of what we ordered). That part was a bit annoying.

I wanted to share some feedback from our recent stay, specifically regarding the membership promotion for the Holiday Inn group. From the first day, we were frequently approached with offers to join, which we found quite persistent. The membership fee of $47,000, along with an annual maintenance fee of $200, seemed extraordinarily high.
We felt compelled to attend a 90-minute meeting about the membership. This aggressive marketing strategy detracted significantly from our overall experience at the facility. I hope this aspect of the guest experience can be reassessed to avoid overshadowing the many positive attributes of the service.

Place was clean, food was good, it was quiet. We also enjoyed going to the Royal Sands for the day twice, it was more fun and had more food options. Luis at the pool bar is fantastic!!

It was a really nice vacation but we got tired of the food choices really fast. I thought there would be more buffets and way more Mexican food. We ended up eating alot of burgers. The drinks were great!

I just love this place so much.

This is the perfect resort for families! Lots of activities and a kids zone. It is extremely clean and the staff are exceptional.

Perfect for families with teens or younger. The cleanliness and the staff are top notch. Friendly staff and courteous to all our needs. The tour options are great as well even though the tourist spots are about an hour away. Even the shopping centers you need to take taxi. But this area is perfect if you want to relax after a long day. Will definitely recommend this place.

The food was excellent at the resort. Always easy to get a chair at the pool or beach and drinks at the bar because it was is not an overly busy resort. The room was outstanding. Very relaxing place.

Having stayed at the Royal Sands and Haciendas, I am well aware of what to expect at this family of resorts. At the RC, the servers at the swim up bar and Italian restaurant were notably poor. It can only be described at intentionally poor - the wait staff would ignore us, would intentionally delay our orders, it was completely unexpected and unearned. I tipped may $100s USD to try to change the waitstaff behavior, and I did notice that toward the end of the trip, they weren't complete a44holes. Just a sad testament to the Royal Cancun.

Nice family resort. Quiet, nice pool. Limited dining options unless you take a shuttle to a sister resort. Avoid the timeshare presentation. Aside from timeshare staff, the other staff were nice. Rooms very clean and spacious. Onsite store if you forget items. Pool bar ok. Small beach area.

Property is very family friendly. We were here for 5 days and we all enjoyed our stay. The rooms were super clean and the temp was very comfortable. The staff very always friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely re-book! The only con was that being its a family friendly resort that everything closed early... restaurants and buffets but the room service is 24 hrs.

Very small, quiet and safe. Family vibe with no crazy night life. Loved the rooms because they’re all villas with two bedrooms. Comfy beds and outstanding maid / in room cleaning service. Loved the sister hotel as well, Royal Sands. That offered a much larger hotel, Buffet, pool area with more party vibe and lovely shopping at several small stores right inside Royal Sands. Free shuttle there and back is excellent.

Very small, safe and clean hotel. Family vibe and peaceful surroundings. Excellent maid and cleaning services. We loved the Sister hotel, Royal Sands, as well. That Offered a much bigger pool, buffet and lovely shops right inside. The all villas are excellent, with two bedrooms.

The Royal Cancun is in the hotel zone and is close to the beach. Its very neat with good service.
We took all inclusive package for 4 days for a family of 4. There are 2 restaurants on site. The La Playa and La Trattoria which had very few vegetarian options . I wish there are more options. There is one more restaurant in the Sands which is accessible via shuttle but takes 15 min to get there.
Carlos the concierge was very friendly and nice. He helped us to check-in and booked our tour packages. Kudos to him for great service.
The hotel offered us discount on the 2 packages and 140$ credit on hotel bill on attending a membership meeting of 90 minutes. After going there we came to know it was a presentation for selling timeshare. I told the presentation guys that I have a shuttle to go to the Sands at 2 pm and have to leave before that time. They did not honor the 90 minutes commitment but extended the presentation for another 15 min and thereby I ended up by missing the shuttle.
They keep on pressing me to buy various timeshare offers though I said I am not interested.
pros: neatness, friendly staff, good concierge
cons - limited dining options, not good for all-inclusive especially if you are vegetarian and not much of a drinker.

Jerimias and Renaldo are amazing and greeted us like family. Jose at the front desk was helpful. We love Olivia. Manuel in the dining area was friendly and attentive. Thanks to all who made our vacation wonderful.

Dining options were limited, but food variations were great. Different theme nights at the buffet. Well prepared for hurricane warnings and events. Re-stocking the mini-bar daily was great. A/C thermostat didn’t seem to adjust, but room was at a comfortable temperature.

We stayed at this resort for a week and it was amazing. This is my second time here. I was looking for more Mexican food but they only served more American food which was good but wanted more Mexican. Staff are great. Señora Laura at the concierge was great.
3.0
The resort appears clean and tidy but has serious limitations in entertainment and food, which are not very varied. Furthermore, access to the sea is minimal or there is simply no access. There is not much fun prepared for children.
