Bathroom shower had no door so water went all over the floor. Also only had ONE towel hook for three folks. Room was nice but the bathroom seemed to be an afterthought.

What a great hotel! Andrew was very welcoming! Such a beautiful, comfortable and clean hotel. Perfect location to T mobile center and power light district!
Great amenities and quiet and safe!

The room was clean, comfortable, and the hotel was lovely. We were there for a concert at the T Mobile Arena. The staff gave us precise directions for walking to the venue. The check in staff were kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was very good. The Valet parking was very convenient and Fransico who parked our car and brought it back when we left was delightful.

The front desk staff is amazing! Special shout-out to Andrew, who texted me before arrival to see whether I needed any special arrangements. The staff who handled check out was also wonderful--super friendly! Finally, the bellman at the front door is really cool!

Excellent stay! The room was very comfortable and the breakfast downstairs was superb. Best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had.

Check in was smooth and all were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the hotel is updated and clean. The lobby is unique in its style—very retro. The restaurant was excellent as well as the service. Only downfall- The lighting in the rooms is dark, hard to see. Parking is expensive, find a parking garage.

Cute hotel with fun vibe, but… zero parking in site and not well noted on the website. We had a U-Haul trailer and drove around for an hour, at 11pm, just trying to find a place to park. Staff was not helpful and didn’t seem to even care that this was an issue. Valet only which is I’m usually fine but this is right downtown and again just not advertised well or I wouldn’t have booked.

Hotel Indigo was beautiful. Our room & bathroom were spacious and well decorated…we loved having hardwood floors in the room. The food & drinks at the bar & restaurant were of excellent quality & reasonably priced. The homemade hummus plate and cold pizza were top notch…all made in-house by the chef. Great way to end a long day of traveling. Complimentary coffee & tea in the lobby each morning.

Hotel Indigo had trendy decor and the staff were upbeat, helpful and resourceful. The hotel was conveniently located, walking distance to restaurants.

A couple surfaces in the room were missed by housekeeping when we checked in. Otherwise the room was great. Nice decor, comfortable bed, and I appreciated the adjustable shower head.

Every staff member was amazing!!

Great area. Quaint hotel

I only have 2 complaints. No microwave in room abd we got locked out of our room the last night due to issues with the card reader, but we're compensated with dinner and drinks.

Check in was ok staff not very friendly acted like they did want to be there. Ask for late check out as I was on a work trip and my spouse was with me. They immediately said no. I’m a IHG member and this is supposed to be a perk. Room 202 smelled like smoke and the AC was horrible room was hot and never hot below 75. After reading other reviews AC seems to be a problem at this Hotel.

I’ve stayed at most of the hotels in Kansas City. As far as the best nights sleep, quiet, and just an all around cool vibe. This is the place to stay! The staff is super friendly and the place has great energy. 😎

I booked this room as a birthday gift for my daughter. The hotel was not able to accommodate us because there was a maintenance issue. They did, however, book a room at a nearby Holiday Inn. It took a while to be able to check in.

Room was clean & spacious. Friendly front desk staff. Very elegantly decorated.

I loved this hotel!

One of my favorite hotels in Kansas City

You know, typically, I feel like I'm paying too much for a hotel room. I know I'm cheap. This is the first time that I really felt like I owed them money! I love the aesthetic of this place! Built in the revitalized Brookfield Building, a hub of travel for most of the 20th Century, they adopted a travel-based theme with train and airline elements present on every floor. The magic is, that it's all so thoughtfully done; it's somehow ubiquitous but not overwhelming. The color scheme, the classic decor, and the appointments all cooperate the transport you to the 1950s every time you return home. Amazing.
The restaurant downstairs, Dott Boss, looked and felt like a place Al Capone would have dinner on friday night after a hard week of murder and tax evasion. The food and craft cocktails were also on point. The experienced was completed once again by an exuberant and competent staff that were both excited and efficient. I was excited to eat nothing but local barbecue while in town but I still found myself at Dott Boss, twice.
Next the staff, perfect, across the board. I'm a night owl, so I get the pleasure of interacting with all the shifts, and they all provided exemplary service with the ability to read the guest (a rare skill these days). Two interactions stand out; first, I received a call soon after check-in to ensure that everything with my room was good. I can't remember the last time that happened. Second, I called to ask where the ice machine was, and the person on th

we always choose this hotel when we are up for the MIAA basketball tournament. This year, we also had a wedding during the same time span. Convenient location for both events. Staff was wonderful as usual and we love Dot Boss.

It was a nice place to stay while visiting downtown.

We liked our room and the property itself a lot. It was clean, loved the room, and the areas of the hotel really were done well.
What we didn’t enjoy and will likely have us not come back was the service. It was very slow. Valet was expensive at $40 a day and they only had one valet person on staff. We’ve stayed at more expensive hotels and for a lower valet cost and there is at least 2-3 valets. They all worked very hard and we appreciated them but they were frequently overwhelmed because it is a busy property.
There was also a situation with the valet and front desk. I asked the valet to bring my jacket as our Uber was on the way but because he was the only valet we quickly realized he wouldn’t make it back in time with the jacket as another customer appr. I asked the front desk if they could put it in my room. We came back coat still wasn’t up front but the front desk said they’d ask the valet about the coat and get it to me. After about 20 minutes or so I called down and asked about the jacket again. I was put on a 15 minute hold and then was told by the front desk staff that they would bring my coat to my room and put it at my door. This was fine. Another half an hour passed still no coat. Went to the front desk to see where my coat was and then a story was made up about us needing our car early in the morning and the keys were handed to me by the same person who I had the phone call with about the jacket. Service at the bar and restaurant slow but good tasting items
