2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 850 sq ft historic cottage built in the 1930s. It features a fully equipped chef's kitchen with a gas range and copper sink, a spacious living room with large windows offering scenic views, a sunny private back patio with an online gas grill, a large outdoor dining area, and plenty of comfortable seating. You can enjoy spectacular views of Mingus Mountain, famous high desert starry night skies, and bird watching from the peaceful front porch. The cottage is equipped with 1G Wi-FI. The master bedroom has a tuft and needle mattress with a custom-made king bed, along with a private bathroom featuring a 1930s cast iron bathtub and original pink tiles. Additionally, there is a newly constructed second bathroom off the laundry area with a shower and skylight and a comfortable and private queen bedroom. The original coal shed has been converted into a game room with colorful lighting, a full-size antique pool table, a fridge, and AC. There are two off-street parking spaces accessible from the alley, one of which has a 220v EV charging outlet. The cottage, nearly 100 years old, has been fully renovated, but you can still expect squeaky floors, sticky doors, and an uncommon layout, retaining all its original charm and character. Situated across from a vibrant desert wash in a small town, it's common to see javelina, coyotes, skunks, raccoons, quail, and other birds, as well as bees, butterflies, spiders, snakes, and many other creatures on our street or in our yard. Decided to take a weekend drive to Jerome to get out of the triple digit temperatures. The trip was more than we expected. The cottage exceeded my expectations. We’ll definitely be returning.

Had a wonderful experience staying here! Celestine was extremely attentive and helpful and the house itself was perfect for what we were looking for. A quaint house in a quiet neighborhood not too far from the main attractions. Highly recommend!

This place was even better than expected. Its adorable and spacious. It over looks a wash so it feels a little excluded and the backyard was amazing! Only thing I noticed is that there is not fence in the back yard to keep pets and children out of the alley. Otherwise it was really wonderful!

We loved our stay here. Beautiful view and total peace. Backyard fenced patio with a beautiful apple tree was awesome. A most wonderful bonus, at least for us: The neighbors have peacocks and turkeys who come to say hello. It was wonderful. Secluded but close to the city.
Celestina checked in on us and she was quickly available. Check in and check out super simple.
We will absolutely return!

My family and I stayed at this house for 3 nights as we drove to some of the parks around norther Arizona. It was a great home base, and the host was very friendly and accommodating.

Unfortunately, a suspected propane leak cut our stay here short and upon check in found out that we were needing to vacate. The property was beautiful upon arrival and host was good about communicating.

I think the most amazing part is the view. The house was super clean and well kept. An older home that is cozy and definitely loved. We felt right at home. Beautiful morning sitting outside watching the sun rise. Would come back for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at Eva's Family Retreat. It is in a very quiet neighborhood and the house had plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was very well stocked with any pots/pans, utensils, etc that you might need during your stay.

My husband, myself and a couple of our friends, enjoyed a nice two day getaway at this home. It was exactly what we needed. The home was spacious for the five of us and could have comfortably accommodated several more. The home also was stocked with anything you could need. Even more special was the property. It sits on two plus acres and the view out of the front window is incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside around the fire pit admiring the stars on a perfect chilly fall evening. This home feels secluded but close to town. It was just the healing weekend we needed. Beautiful memories were created with our friends.
On a side note there’s a traditional working sauna in the home which was really cool.
