The overall stay was ok, but the house was not at all what we anticipated. The outside / curb appeal of the house needs some serious attention. Heavy weeds in the front and back leaving us very uncomfortable of what could be hiding in the yards. The house desperately needs to be painted on the outside - just gives off a very dumpy feel to the house. The backyard is an absolute mess. The gates were held up by bricks and the fence looked like it would fall at any minute. It made it very unpleasant to hang out on the deck and relax.
Inside, the house was clean, everything worked for the most part. The basement is significantly colder than the upstairs making it very hard to regulate internal temps for those sleeping in the basement (they froze!).
The day we arrived was also trash day. However, the cans were completely full and not taken out, so we had to get creative with what to do with our trash for an entire week.
I can't say with a good conscience that I would recommend staying here until some significant maintenance was completed. Very disappointed considering how much we paid!

The house is spacious, the neighborhood is quiet and near a beautiful park. The owner was very nice and super responsive. A number of little things added up to some annoyances: the laundry room is in the garage, the garage was not available for us to use, the garbage disposal didn’t work, the garbage can cabinet was falling apart, the sheet on the master bed did not fit and therefore constantly came off, there were a lot more stairs into the house than we expected, and the fenced in yard was all rocks. Just not quite what we expected from the photos and description. The layout on the first floor was nice but our dog struggled with all the stairs.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Our group had 5 adults (2 couples and one single person) and 3 dogs. The master bedroom had a large bed with an in-room bathroom. There were 2 additional bedrooms on the upper level with a shared bathroom. The downstairs area had it's own living room/office space and another bedroom and bathroom (with sliding glass door access to the backyard). The split level layout really allows for separation at the end of the night, which is nice if you're traveling with multiple couples or families and you want some privacy. The kitchen was wonderful and had plenty of island space for eating. The owner was super fast at communicating regarding our question about where to park. There were zero issues with the heating/cooling, which has been problematic with other rentals in Colorado in the past. We washed a load of clothes while there too (so the washer and dryer definitely work). The property was exactly as described in my personal opinion. One of the more underrated parts is that there is a nice city park right across the street, which was a huge plus since we had 3 dogs with us. We could easily walk them in the morning and once again before bed without it being a whole ordeal or having to worry about our safety in a sketchy area. Anyone with dogs, I would highly recommend this place! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home! I would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself :)
