About this apartment rental
Summary:
Metro Scottsdale Apartments - we offer 1 and 2bd apartments converted from a former Hilton Homewood Suites. These are interior corridor units and there is a possibility of noise, food and other odors and everything that comes with apartment living:) We have a touchless automated check in process and you will receive all details upon booking.
The Space:
All of our 1bd units are interior corridor meaning they are in a building with a coded secure entrance. Although rare, this also means there may be noise from neighbors, doors shutting, or upstairs noise. Although we are a strictly non smoking property, you may also smell marijuana or cigarette smoke if a guest is breaking the rules (this is a problem statewide after marijuana legalization). You may hear a fire alarm if one unit is triggered (commercial safety code). We strictly enforce a site wide non smoking policy but there have been guests that break those rules in the past. If you are highly sensitive to the remote possibility of smelling smoke, then this may not be the rental for you. We want to be 100% upfront and avoid missed expectations. We promise to do everything we can to make your stay perfect.
Amenities: Our grounds and amenities are unmatched and feature a sparkling pool, built-in BBQ gym, business center, clubhouse and dog park.
Location: We are where you want to be in the Phoenix Metro. Exactly in the middle of highways 101 and 51, you will be10minutes or less from everything including the airport, camelback corridor, downtown, Tempe, and Old Town Scottsdale. Please keep in mind that there may be very slight road noise on the grounds so if you are very sensitive then you may want to consider another option.

Roaches are everywhere, the place was out of the 80s, management continues to try.and.charge your card for amenities after youve checked out . Dog poop comes with the property , the police circles the parking lot as if they were locking for someone. Please STAY AWAY from this property.

Stayed here for 2 weeks. convenient location; nearby stores and around residential area so it’s quiet. 3rd floor was a great choice for longer stay; not a traffic area, 1st floor is definitely not a good option; I find it busy area. room AC is ok but not the hallways and elevators. the place need a ground keeper and pet area where pets can do their business, some pet owners does not know how to manage their pet droppings. Don’t expect room service, should you need something visit the office and they can provide pretty much anything you need for the room.easy check in process, all online.

Booked it for a night and just used it for a place to sleep. It was exactly what I thought I was getting and it was clean.

The location, price and ease of booking is fantastic! Communication from property manager was great. That said the hallways and elevator smell like there is a dead body rotting somewhere. The property is also covered in dog poop, cigarette butts and trash. The ad does mention the smell so 10/10 for honesty lol.

Clean and good customer service

Sofa was broken, bathroom door knob was missing, windows wouldn’t open, no patio, rooms smelled musty and stuffy, no spatula or skillet, refrigerator door fit on backwards, and no hangers in closet.
We would not return to this place.

I had no issues during my stay

Only used basically for sleeping for us and was relatively quiet for that. Decent place overall but a lot of uncourteous pet owners. Dog Crap and cigarette butts everywhere outside.

The room was nice and clean. The only problem we had with this place was the odor in the hallways. Once end of the building smelled like rotten eggs and the other end smelled like sewage that was worse during the day and less at night. The room itself smelled slightly stale when first entering but then we didn't notice after being in it for a few minutes. We also had to go buy more toilet paper and coffee as we ran out but to be fair, I never asked if they could provide us more. The main bed was comfortable but the pull out couch was very springy in a not great way. The cabinets were stocked with what we needed for eating left overs. There were 2 pots to cook with that we did not use and only a spatula for cooking utensils. The primary reason I would probably not stay here again would be the odor in the hallways.

We got in to the place and the outside area is scary. There were people yelling at us and we thought we were going to get kidnapped. Walking outside was so scary we didn’t walk or leave our room. Walking to our room we found cockroaches on the ground. This place is not good to stay in. It also has a horrible smell.

2nd time I booked this property for a colleague coming in from out of state for work. This particular 3rd floor unit seemed much cleaner and and didn't have the smoker's smell the previous 1st floor unit had. May very well be back again. Great location.

This particular building has a lot of foreign workers placed in temporary housing for local temp jobs. So while the room I stayed in was nice, I had to breathe in all the foreign food being cooked throughout the building, which I did not like. Garbage scattered in the stairwells, broken elevator, and only allowed to access the building through an obscure back door, not the main entrance. Had to change rooms due to broken air conditioning. But the people responded quickly to the support phone number, even late at night.

Unit was clean upon arrival. Everything was as described and pictured. Close to where we needed to be!

My spouse and I were in the valley for a week and needed a place where we could work remotely. We really just needed Wifi and a place to sleep, and this place had it. The description was accurate, right down to the smelly hallways lol but it wasn’t really a bother. I would HIGHLY recommend reading through all of the check-in instructions not only for the benefit of your party, but the party that stays after you. The AC unit will break if set below 73°F, and the people who stayed before us set it to 50°F. That first night without it was hard on us Seattleites. However, our property manager was extremely responsive and understanding, and they got it fixed for us promptly. It was nice and cool for the rest of our stay. There is indeed a pool, but it’s pretty much a 15’ x 15’ square littered with leaves and cigarette butts. I did spend a nice quiet lunch out there one of the days. The room has a functioning kitchen and a fridge, and there was more than enough parking for us to always park near an entrance. Overall, this stay was just what we needed—perfect for the price.

This stay was about convenience and this property provided. The on-line process for booking, checking in, and communication was all efficient and smooth. The keyless code entry is hassle free. Location was great. This was a business visit for an out of town friend and they would return here again if the need arises.

Staff on hand was overall friendly. Hallways smelled. Some of the carpet seams in the hallway need attention.
Overall stay was good.

There should be a little more clarity with after hours check in. We had a bit of trouble finding the unit at night and didn't know what door codes worked on what doors because the code only works on the back hallway doors but without knowing where the unit was it was confusing and took a brit of time to figure out after driving as long as we did. Also, I was under the impression this was a condo. Not sure why. A list of cooking utensils would also be nice. We brought breakfast but was not able to cook it.
