Wonderful Hotel and Excellent Service

They know about hospitality and understand that details make the difference.
They take care of the guest and attend to their needs promptly.
They offer free bicycles for guests and a delicious welcome cocktail.
I loved the hotel.

The room was great , clean amd quiet.
The staff was friendly and very accommodating.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I was going to get a similar room
Rate. I specially appreciated that it included the breakfast and it was so close to the historic district.

The property advertised air conditioner rooms. And when we got there, there's only three air conditioning rooms out of about twenty they need to change their description of what they provide

First assigned a room with no air conditioning or window. Requested to be reassigned to a new room the next day

Beautiful classic Hotel, with historical colonial interior. Romatic, small in size perfect to avoid crowds. Close to Zocalo. Personel was always nice and helpful. Our windows opened to the street, that was a treat. Very clean.

Excellent central location, helpful staff (eg valet parking my rental car). Im normally someone who finds having natural light important, so was a bit worried about the lack of it, but having the skylight and the doors into an internal courtyard was fine - it works in a historic building like this.

Great staff that go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, clean rooms.

Very pretty hotel and excellent service. They welcomed me with a mezcalina and the next day we had breakfast included. It was very close from el zocalo and a lot of restaurants around us. Love it!

We stayed two nights. The hotel is convenient, but at night the noise level either from people partying, but all night long there was a banging noise, perhaps from some bird. One night partiers until very late, and the other night a banging noise all night long and during the day it seem to be gone. Because the hotel is open you can hear every conversation from the first floor. The toilet didn't work and even after tell them once and they said it was fixed it was not.

We booked and paid up front for this hotel at 15:00 on Sunday 17 Sept whilst in Mexico City and accidentally entered the wrong date - we entered Sunday 17 Sept instead of Monday 18 Sept. We contacted the hotel and they referred us back to Hotels.com. The agent there was extremely helpful and rang the hotel to see if they would change the booking. Unfortunately, they refused to do so. We therefore booked another hotel in Pueblo. At approx 15:15 (24 hours later) we received a message from The Angel hotel saying they would move the date. I explained we had already booked and paid up front and could they move the date to Monday 25 Sept when we would be returning to Pueblo. Not even the courtesy of a response. They just ignored our request. As it happens the hotel we booked (Hotel Casa del la Palma) was in the heart of the historic quarter in a lovely tree lined road illuminated with tree lights at night.

Choose the room in the back of hotel. They are dark and has no windows but very quiet, instead of those placed in the first floor facing the trafficated road.
Personnel very helpful and respectful. Very close to city center. Breackfast included was sufficient. I would recommend it

It was nice, there was a small problem with our bathroom, so we got switched to another room which was the presidential suit.

Excelente experiencia.

A lovely stay in an oversized double Queen bedded room with vaulted ceiling. Easy walk to the Zocalo, many restaurants and the Talavera markets.

Staff was fabulous! Location excellent. Price fair. Charming old colonial with over-the-top mold problems. Also the covid room sanitizer was extreme and also toxic. Both, with prolonged exposure would be hazardous to your health. I mentioned both when I checked in and she said it was normal. I've stayed in numerous colonials over the last ten years and that was not normal.

When checking in i knew i had made a mistake. The room did not match the booking request. There was no welcome drinks. There is no bathtub in the imperial suite. The sevice was subpar at best.

Perfect Hotel and location

Room would have been perfect had there been a chair to sit in. Only place to sit was on the bed.

The hotel is very beautiful and the staff is really nice. The patios are gorgeous and we were treated with kindness and attention. However, there was no proper hot water in the shower and it was until the second day of attempts that they allowed me access to another shower (in another room, in and out). This was weird in a hotel like this, particularly during winter. I would appreciate that they advertised the rooms with bathtubs, because I would have paid the difference if I knew for certain. Instead, for all rooms it said: shower and/or bath. So, we picked the room according to the number of beds needed.
Other little detail surprised me, like the light from the night table not working. I only missed it because of my attempts of showering during the night. I had to wake up my husband every time I stood up.

This boutique hotel is wonderful! Elegant mansion beautifully decorated in the heart of town, very quiet, delicious continental breakfast and the staff is extremely helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer.

A suite boutique hotel with a great staff. It is well located. Only issue was a shortage of hot water. A refrigerator would be nice but not essential. We would stay there again.
