Doing so will cause the pool and hot tub to not heat and/or to not power off. There is a $100 fee if you tamper with these settings/controls.
Fire Pit: Before using the fire pit read the manual so you know how to operate it. The manual is located on the kitchen counter above the dishwasher. Remove the fabric cover before turning the flame on. Please do not burn anything (do not use the fire pit to light anything on fire). Ive never been so misled in a rental. I want to warn all future guests. No drinking water/ice and no mention prior to arriving (spent $75 in bottled water/ice) 10 hangers in a 4-bdrm house. Bathroom fans don’t work. 1 hand/face towel per bathroom. 2 rolls of TP/bathroom for a 3 week stay! 2 cup coffee pot for a house that sleeps 10, no paper towels, no BBQ tools, propane tanks for BBQ/fire pit near empty(he did bring full ones next day) Grass/weeds a good month of growth, hot tub barely got to 100 degrees, not 104. Dogs in the backyard howl/bark for 30 min thru-out day. Beds were descent. The kitchen is hardly stocked with essentials. Had togo to Dollar Tree to purchase $50 of standard kitchen stuff to include wine glasses, cookie sheets, bowls, dishwasher pods, PT, garbage bags, etc. No cleaning supplies at all to spruce up the bathrooms within our 3 weeks. The white kitchen sink worn down to black and blue surface. Dishwasher super loud and all inside furniture so uncomfortable!! Outdoor furniture stained, we had to put beach towels down to sit. 6 pool chairs, 1 broken,2 badly stained not cleanable. This house is so run down and barely stocked. it needs a lot of upgrades to charge this kind of money and list it as it is. I’ve never been so embarrassed to have our guests arrive in a place like this. There is so much more that I’d like to say but it only gives me 1500 characters but you get the point. I just don’t know how someone can misrepresent a place so bad.

Location was amazing, however most everything else failed to live up to the pictures. Water and ice didn’t work on refrigerator, kitchen garbage didn’t auto open leaving you to have to pry open with fingers and dishwasher was very loud. Master bedroom mattress was not only super uncomfortable but creaked every time moved, ceiling fan didn’t turn on with any switches, and there was also not a working fan in bathroom that had very cheap towels and no washcloths except a black one for your face makeup. The outside was the biggest disappointment with crusted stains on all the cushions to the point my teenage daughter refused to sit in any of the furniture “gross” - it appeared over by fire pit (we didn’t use) that some of those cushions were tore up, and the ping pong net was so old tightening did nothing for sag. While pool chairs (in water) were crusted with dirt, after we cleaned pool and hot tub those were great to use and we were glad for having paid to heat. All the furniture was uncomfortable - really not a great vrbo compared to others have experienced and had been so excited for this visit - lots of roles for little return :(

Best vacation we have had in years. House was perfect and manager was very responsive and got the pool exactly how we liked it. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The location was great and we loved the pool space. We were very thankful that we paid the extra to have the pool heated at this time of year, despite having some hot days. We spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub. When we arrived at the home, things were a little dusty from sitting for a while since the last booking, but Gulliver had his cleaning crew sent over promptly to make things right. The property has some nice updates and modern decor that make it feel comfortable and homey. We also appreciated the games provided at the house. I think the addition of a playpen and a few kids toys would make the home even more family friendly, but thankfully we were able to travel with what we needed. We found the kitchen to be well stocked with cooking supplies, but would have appreciated a few more dishwasher tabs, garbage bags and washing machine pods. We’ve stayed at many rentals where supplies were limited, but this was more than we’ve experienced before. We were thankful that the inconveniences we experienced were minor, and we still very much enjoyed our time. I think the property could still use a thorough scrub from top to bottom but we were happy with our stay.

Quiet neighborhood, clean property. Perfect relaxing weekend

Great location close to the Indian Wells tennis tournament. We loved the 4 bedrooms so we each had our own room! Great backyard even though we didn't have time to use it! Too much tennis and going to all the wonderful restaurants!! Loved having the shampoo, conditioners and lotion in each bathroom! Very clean property!

Great communication with host and a nice property.

We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children under 10. The side yard was absolutely perfect for playing in and the addition of the lawn games is a fantastic addition! The salt water pool is fantastic and not too deep in the deepest part so perfect for kiddos to do tons of swimming. The hot tub was a gem on those cooler desert evenings:)
The house was clean and bright:) It was the perfect size for our group to act as both a home base for busy touristy days a well as lazier days of hanging by the pool. It’s very close to Palm Springs and the surrounding areas with a Walgreens and a small grocery store within walking distance. Costco and Trader Joes are a close drive for food items:)
Our host was extremely good with communication, something we very much appreciated!
We really enjoyed our stay!

Our stay was fine overall. We were booked at Gulliver's house in November and due to Covid had to cancel the trip.
Sadly, he was not amenable to a refund so we spent more money to make the trip happen a few months later.
The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The master bedroom bed squeaks incessantly at the slightest motion and the ceiling fan is broken. The kitchen is not equipped particularly well for cooking. We bought groceries and used the brand new grill which was awesome but there are no metal grilling utensils, just plastic spatulas. The dishwasher doesn't open all the way due to a design flaw.
The pool area is lovely however we were not willing to pay the $75/day fee to heat the pool thus ice cold. There is a nice outdoor propane fire pit which needed a replacement of propane. Gulliver had a tank delivered right away. It is out of Gulliver's control, but the neighbors have a large RV and pontoon boat that loom over the pool area.
We have stayed at many VRBOs around the globe. Strap in for lots of rule reading! It seems like Gulliver has had many bad guests given the lack of good will.
There are a comical amount of rules posted throughout the house. At this price point, it is unnecessary to ration paper products and tell us not to bring escorts back to the house (this is not a joke...it's in the rules).
Gulliver's house is clean and functional but not spectacular.

Good communication with property Manager. Easy stress-free use of house. Kids loved the ping pong table and pool. Used the hot tub nightly. Just what we needed.
