We enjoyed this cozy home for our family to escape. Our older kids/adults enjoyed the lake access for fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. The house was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable.

Property needed good cleaning inside, grass mowed and weeds removed, boat trailer blocked one parking spot and boat at the dock was in major disrepair. Could not put pontoon boat at dock due to other boat blocking dock. Left one day early because of these conditions. Pictures available.

Place was nice

We were pleased overall with the house and felt warm and safe. So many people have commented on the limited seating in the living area, but no one has mentioned that the seating isn't very comfortable for older people. Unless you sit on a kitchen chair, you may have a hard time getting comfortable or even getting out of the one chair. The small couch is also not easy to sit in unless you are young and flexible. How nice it would be to have an upholstered chair with a straight back and maybe an ottoman so you could sit by the fire and relax.
Most of the amenities are as described. Many coffee drinkers prefer mugs and there was only one. The dishes were either large plates or saucers. We did see some Chinese plates, but it would be great just to have some normal Ikea salad plates and mugs.
A real blender would be nice. The 2 immersion blenders are okay, but wouldn't handle frozen ingredients very well for smoothies.
Nice washer and dryer, but a bit loud for the occupants of the downstairs rooms. Toilet paper is pretty awful and thin, so bring your own. Also bring bar soap or body wash and a few extra wash cloths.
The deer and the ambience are the best features!

First of all, the check-in and check-out process was great. My only complaint is the seating in the living room is not adequate for more than 3 adults. The house was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed our stay.

Should not have had open used food jars in refrigerator. Dryer still had bed clothes in it. Pillows were not so good on beds. Should have a couch in livng room. Should have a hand rail on both sides of stairs with a night light on the stairs. Bedroom closets have too much stuff in them making them unusable if you had more people staying there. Also should have a coffee maker for Kcups.

This property is as described. It had plenty of sleeping space for the 6 of us, though the table was too small to use the 6 chairs all together. There is not much in the immediate vicinity except the water, which is nice if you want a quiet spot.. It is located on a great finger of the lake for watersports that is not nearly as busy as the larger parts of Lake Lanier. We were able to park our boat on the side of the dock, as the owner owns a boat that is in the boat slip. We really enjoyed the lake location.
Minor things to address/correct/include in the property description:
There is a boat trailer in the parking area at the home, so bringing another trailer to park requires some skill.
The address of the boat launch is wrong (takes you to a house in a neighborhood down the road) - we had to ask neighbors how to get there.
There were some linens in the dryer.
The house had progressively more black flies throughout the week. I think they may be coming from the living room rug, which is cool looking but can't be vacuumed due to the design.
Overall, we had a great time.

The house was great but could have been slightly cleaner due to the dog hair found throughout the home and in the beds. The kitchen has more then enough pots, pans, utensils, and dishes and came with quite the collection of spices and condiments. The lake was only a short walk and was overall clean and great for swimming (I do recommend floaties so you can relax without having to touch the bottom). The dock was in a bit of a rough shape but had a good amount of space to layout and the neighbors were very quiet so we even got to see some wildlife! We were only about 5-10 minutes away from a gas station and about 20-25 from restaurants so it was a nice getaway but not too far if you need something. I would recommend you booking a stay here.

The house was clean and comfortable but I would like if they have more seats to hangout in the living room.

House was very clean and nice. When we got there had a small misunderstanding about some lien’s but contacted Mark and he was quick to respond and we got it taken care of. Only downfall was that there needs to be more seating in the living area.

Very clean house! Great for our family vacation. Only suggestion would be to have more seating in the living room.

I really enjoyed my time at this home. The neighborhood is quiet and the house immaculate. I do have 2 small dogs (under 9 lbs) that the property manager ok'd - they are very quiet - unless they see animals or people outside. The two sliding doors have no curtains and no way to provide privacy at night which was a negative for me as a single female (however, they face into woods and I never saw people). There are many deer who visit in the morning and I worried that my "barkers" might disturb neighbors. Other than the lack of curtains on the sliding doors, the property had everything you could need and I did enjoy my time there.

The house was beautiful and clean.. it was a bit difficult getting upstairs to the master. The beds were very comfortable. Beautiful views. The only negative would be the coffee maker it was difficult to use I would suggest a keureg that everyone knows how to use. I missed my coffee in the mornings. I would definitely stay here again. Great price!

Super nice a spotless home. We had everything we needed. The beds were awesome. So nice that when we got home we purchased the exact same mattress. Mark was extremely helpful. Defiantly plan on coming back for another stay.

Overall very nice. House is beautiful. If staying with family, living space (living room and dining area)is not spacious enough for everyone to sit together. Other then this, it’s a very nice place.

Stayed here with my family over the Thanksgiving weekend so my daughter that goes to college at Brenau would not have to travel home. The house was a perfect choice. Seems like it is brand new construction. Spacious, clean and comfortable. We will be back!

This was a great location. We enjoyed our time here. The owner was quick to respond to messages. The living room only had a love seat and a chair. Not really big enough for our family. The bedrooms downstairs only had curtains on one of the two windows. The master bath upstairs didn’t have any curtains and the window is right outside the shower so my mom was a little weary of getting in the shower. Other than that it was a great stay.
