Memorable hotel and restaurant experience

The word boutique for a hotel has never been more appropriate! The attention to details, the rich and thought through decorations, the incredible collection of unique vintage items, including a Minitel1 and the focus on iconic design objects make this hotel a memorable and unique experience. And if the unique ambience is not enough, the restaurant adds a n incredible touch of innovative creativity. The dining experience is designed to be a journey thorough tastes, textures, and combinations that are deliciously unusual and unique. Every dish is beautifully presented and the tastes are known ingredients combined in unique ways to create something special. The chef has created dishes that reinforce and complete the overall experience of the relais and i rarely can remember a hírek that has so much personality and consistency in both their hotel and restaurant experience.

We would have loved to know more about all the object exposed and meet someone who could share more about the venue in English!

A brilliant dinner at the restaurant made it an unforgettable stay

chose the hotel for a last minute stay as it had sufficient parking and a restaurant. the lobby is very quirky and inviting

rooms have been given a leak of paint but could include hot drinks facilities for the price paid. fitness space is a good idea but was used as smoking area by the staff, a few dirty ashtrays are left scattered around outside

The restaurant was to die for wait staff were impeccable food was a feast for the eyes and mouth

Great pitstop hotel with an eclectic décor.

Lovely, quirky hotel, maybe a little eccentric, but certainly full of charm. Loved the atmosphere. Walked 1 kilometre up the road to a really awesome Italian restaurant.

Only found out about the lovely Italian, because the restaurant at the hotel was shut. So was the bar and the swimming pool. A bit disappointing.

Exceptional

The staff are incredibly friendly and happy to help with anything. The room I stayed in was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The restaurant.. is just incredible. I can honestly say some of the best food I have ever eaten. Definitely looking forward to my next stay!

strange poor hotel, bad management.

The property is ok, great restaurant, very good meals.

We booked a room with balcony and when we arrived, the lady owner told us there is not and that what booking is posting is not the reality and they do not have balcony rooms anymore. I asked them if booking is lying. After aprox 30 minutes they gave us a balcony room. The next morning I asked about the outdoor pool and the same old lady told me directly that the pool is for them and the staff and is available only when they do not use it. That was more than strange, as the outdoor pool was advertised even in the elevator and I have chosen the hotel because of the outdoor pool.

Pretty dreadful and disappointing - though we did have a really really good laugh during dinner.

Breakfast was fine - some bread and meat and cheese - nothin much exciting. Pools were also fine.

Driving through the beautiful rolling hills we were hoping for the lovely stay that the site advertised, alas in the last minute we turned onto a busy road and there we found our 'boutique' hotel. After a 10 minute wait at an unmanned reception at 18.00, we got into our rooms. They smelled of anything but rolling fields. More like sweat. The hotel decoration is completely nuts, we guessed maybe a travel theme? Could have been anything from French revolution to Trump, to a speedboat and ancient skies and a giant traffic light. After waiting for 30 minutes for a beer in the garden adjecent the busy road - we chose an early dinner. No vegetarian options on the menu, the chef had promised us a courgette dish, the waiter firmly said 'Non - that was a mistake', they had no courgettes, just mushrooms. When the food turned up - the courgette side dish at our neighbours table had us in hysterical laughter at that point. When the fly that sat on my sons food died only a second later still on the fork - we sure had a very good laugh - but man this was by far the worst place we'd stayed in for a long long time. Staff was kind enough - but this is not the kind of quiet - lovely - restful - cleanish little break we were after. Or even non-stinky room sleep.
