This home was excellent and as advertised. Nestled in a private neighborhood, but less than a mile from the grocery stores, restaurants, and everything you could possibly need for a a great week, the location is superb.

This is a great home located in a community with a nice beach and quick access to many options for recreation, restaurants and shopping. The hosts are very friendly, accommodating and quick to respond. The guest guide provided is full of tips so you will never get bored with so many options on things to do, places to eat and how to take most advantage of the home. Our family and friends trip was enjoyed by 8 adults and 4 children ages 1-8.

This was a great house for our extended family beach vacation! Being able to walk up from the beach in a few minutes was a big plus! The house is extremely comfortable and Jose is easily accessible for any problems.

House is spacious and nicely appointed to accommodate our 15 person strong family. Kitchen has every conceivable utensil and plenty of dishware. Beach is a 2 minute walk, pool was our #1 water spot. Location is central to Nags Head, very close to food, shopping, and activities. The provided cruiser bikes were a disappointment, with only 1 usable. We are an avid cycling family. Overall, a good time was had by all, and we would return again,

This house is fabulous...everything advertised is there...super clean and the bed was just right! The top deck has the best views...but all decks have a great view along with a hot tub and pool!!! Best of all...NO BUGS...we sat out on the deck watching a lightning storm one night...was amazing!!! Was sad to leave and would definitely come back here in a heartbeat!

From the amazing views to the perfect location, this house is beyond Perfect. There is not one single thing i could stay about the entire trip. Jennifer and Jose were so friendly and super communicative the entire stay. If i could give this stay 100 out of 10 I would.

We loved staying here. It’s was great for our kids to be able to ride bikes with little to no traffic. Also right next to the beach very satisfied with the property and the Cornejo’s . Look forward to coming back.

From the initial booking, this was one of my favorite rentals through VRBO. The house is perfect for a large group. I’ve never had a house that included more than enough of everything - from dishes, to cookware, to linens. Everything we needed was there for us, making it easy to start enjoying vacation right away. The game table was a hit with the kids. The pool and hot tub were awesome and the pool guy came mid-week to check on everything. The communication from Jose and Jennifer was amazing - they know what they’re doing when managing a tight and seamless process. I just loved staying in Nags Head at this beautiful property and look forward to staying again. Thank you so much Jose & Jennifer!!!!

Our family of eleven had a wonderful time. Plenty to do at this location with all age groups, and the house was the cleanest rental I have ever been in! Hosts were wonderful communicating and supplied so many extra "things." The arcade table was a huge attraction with the 4 - 15 year olds (as well as the adults).

Everything from the view, accommodations, comfortable beds, private bathrooms and the main family/friends space with a view of the ocean is definitely a five star home. Appreciated the tables inside and out that allowed for all of us to eat and play games together. The beach is beautiful and a two minute walk on walkway from the home. Our favorite late night fun was the game table. Highly recommend this property.

My family and I had a great time staying at the Sea Captains House :) The hosts were very responsive and easy access and check out directions. My kids loved the bunk room ! The rooms were big and spacious. We loved how attention to detail and small gestures like the coffee bar and amenities offered by host to make you feel at home. Right next to beach access and when I say clean…. SUPER clean ! The house even had a game
table that kept our kid’s entertained on a rainy. We will definitely book again as it was the perfect fit for us :) Thank You for your outstanding hospitality!

Wonderful blend of beauty and comfort! Perfect place for families or friend groups to enjoy time together. House was spacious, SO clean, and extremely well stocked. Felt like a true home away from home. Everything you could want and more in the kitchen, nice baby gate for the top of the stairs (THANK YOU!!!) and a cushy high chair for the littlest guests. Pack’n’plays too! The hot tub was a hit, and we loved that the beach was just a stroll away. An abundance of towels available for all, and the beds were comfy to sleep in, which is not always the case in rentals! Great guide book and restaurant recommendations. Very easy, low maintenance departure protocols.

My family and I came in for a short weekend to do some fishing. The property was lovely and everything online was accurate. Very clean (which is one of the most important things for us) and the owners were amazing, communicating throughout the entire process. It is close to everything. It was a short stay for us in December but I imagine this is the place to be in the summer. Would definitely come back.

We had a great stay at this property for an early fall get away. Everything is very clean, comfortable and as expected by the description. The location is excellent with a very quick walk out to the beach on the neighborhood shared boardwalk, and great driving proximity with central location in Nags Head.
The owners are very quick to respond to questions and easy to get ahold of in case of any needs.

Clean home, relaxing and simple decor, and an open floor plan made our stay at the captains sea house very pleasant. It was an easy walk to the beach and having a heated pool was nice for the cooler weather. We had more than enough space, and the extra baby items (high chair and baby gate) was much appreciated. Jose was very informative and a pleasant host. Thanks for having us!

The property is very clean, nice, up to date, plenty of amenities and great location. Just bring clothes, food and beach towels. The house has everything else you need. I’m glad we ended up choosing this house for our stay. If you’re on the fence about staying here don’t be, go for it. I would and possibly will stay here in the future if available at that time.

As advertised. Great house with all the amenities you could want. Easy walk to the beach. Pool was sufficient to cool off and have a break from the beach.

Our family of 14 stayed a week in August and had a great time. The location to the beach is perfect and such an easy walk. The chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and beach towels were awesome amenities that are typically an additional cost. The house is immaculate and very well stocked. We were able to cook our own crab leg feast with all the kitchen supplies. The pool and bicycles were a bit small for our “kids” age group (15-22), but it’d be perfect for little / younger ones. Jose and Jennifer were extremely thorough and thoughtful in their communication. Made for a great experience!

Had a great stay at Jose’s home in Nags Head. Easy walk to the beach with lots of gear at the house that we appreciated (especially the wagon!). Our kids loved the pool and hot tub, and the game table was a huge hit. The house was spotless upon our arrival and our family had a fantastic week at the beach.

We were a family of 11 on our first all family beach vacation together. We couldn't have asked for a better house and host. The home was impeccable with so much room for all of us. Clean, beautiful and very well thought out for out of towners. A nice little surprise was awaiting us in the kitchen when we arrived. Added bonus was the comfy beds and having everything there as far as linens, beach towels, toys, chairs etc. Jose and Jennifer were the best!

The hosts were excellent and responded to our every need. We loved how close it was to the beach. The hot tub and pool were cleaned several times during our stay. There were plenty of beach and pool toys. I have never stayed in a rental that was so clean inside. I loved the coffee set-up and ground fresh beans every morning to make our coffee.
